  "No," he teased back, seeking her face to kiss her. "I have accepted the idea that I am all passion. I willingly leave the logic in the family to you."

  And at this Rozalinde laughed and settled more comfort­ably in his arms, secure at last in the knowledge that this man loved her, equally secure in the belief that he granted her power over her own destiny—allowing the two things she wanted most in life to coexist.
