Resisting Royal (The Repayment Series) Page 18

I glanced down as I spoke, fucking relishing at the sight of my cock being sucked into her body. My balls tingled, I was so fucking turned on that I wasn’t positive how much longer I could keep going. Her eyes followed mine, a soft gasp escaping her lips, doing nothing for control. Shit. I was done for. I was done for the moment I first met her. Why did I think that would change now in the bedroom?

I wound her hair in my fingers again, forcing her down so that her palms were against the wood, and her eyes were locked on the sight of us, the view of my hips pumping into her as she gasped for air. She tried to look down, to look away from the vision that was us, and there was no fucking way I was letting her miss a single moment of us together. My free hand went to her throat, squeezing softly to force her gaze upward.

Her body clenched around me. “I want you to see us.” She gasped, and I could tell she was close and hell, I was too. I had four maybe five more pumps, and I would lose it. “Do you want me to come inside of you, Bianca?” My breath heaved. “I’ll pull out, but I’ll be honest, every primal thing inside of me tells me not to.”

“Don’t,” she gasped as her eyes traveled downward, causing my palm to tightened on her throat. She moaned again, the sound making my spine tingle and my hips buck. I couldn’t stop my hips if I tried, they were determined to chase their own ecstasy, determined to find release.

I pulled her hair tight, and her eyes fluttered. Fuck, but she was close too. I ground into her, pushing my hips roughly. Satisfaction consumed me as her walls clenched around me, and a scream tore from her throat. Two more thrusts and I was right there with her, my hand covering her mouth to silence her screams, my eyes taking in every inch of our soot covered bodies, her bra skewed as she thrashed against me with wild eyes, her hair tightly bound around my fist.

Chest heaving, I collapsed on top of her, intertwining our fingers as we both fought to breathe. I swallowed. Once. Twice. Four more times before I could even begin to form a sentence. Looking at the claw marks on the furniture, I whispered, “I think we owe them a new dresser.”

Her eyes followed my gaze before she burst into laughter.

  Chapter 35

  BIANCA

“I want to worship this every day until I take my last breath.” I leaned my head against the tile of the shower wall and moaned as Royal kissed my inner thigh.

“Worship what? A thigh?” I bit my lip, knowing damn well that wasn’t what he was talking about.

Both of his large hands rubbed my thigh as he brought his lips to it again. “This tattoo. The intricate design of intertwining flowers. It’s so feminine and bold. It’s so . . . you. I’m obsessed.”

His teeth bit into my upper thigh, and my knees went weak. I threaded my fingers into his hair. “You don’t have any tattoos.”

He pulled back, his eyes finding mine as he shook his head. “God, no.”

“Oh, I forgot; you’re afraid of needles,” I taunted, and he leaned his head forward, this time nipping at the apex of my thighs. I groaned, the sensation of his lips on my skin mixed with the sharp sting of his bite made my body clench with want.

“I will admit, I’m not a fan. But I wouldn’t say afraid. More like I don’t favor them.” He gripped the back of both of my thighs, pulling my legs to make them wider.

“Bock, bock.” I mimicked the sound of a chicken as he raised one brow at me.

  “Really?”

I nodded, amused at my own actions. “I’ll show you chicken.”

Placing my leg over his shoulder, he leaned forward, his tongue darted out, licking my sensitive skin. Fuck, if he wasn’t perfect. This powerful man on his knees, yielding for me. Only me. He nudged my thighs wider, wedging his body between my legs, and I gripped his hair, pulling his head back at a sharp angle.

Trying to ignore the scrape of the scruff on his jaw rubbing against me, I asked, “So, you will get a tattoo for me?”

He tried to tilt his head down and ignore my request, and I pulled harder. He licked his lips, no doubt tasting my want for him and only him on his tongue. “If you let me feast like I’m so desperate for, I’ll do anything in the world you ask, Amore.”

My grip faltered as his finger danced along my slit before sliding into me. I gasped. “That’s cheating.”

“No one said I play fair.” He pulled my thighs wider as he leaned down, and with his mouth on me and his fingers working inside me, I lost all will to argue.

An hour later, we sat at the large farm style table in Roman’s personal quarters surrounded by a steaming plate of cinnamon rolls and fresh orange juice. Emma and Dot had gotten up early to provide the house with breakfast, and I felt a little guilty for having shower sex instead of volunteering for girl time.

“Did you sleep well?” Shaw asked, making polite conversation, and I felt my cheeks cover with a blush. Sleep? Hardly. Not with my husband’s hands working all over my body and his solid length repeatedly bringing me to orgasm.

“I did.” I schooled my expression to be neutral, but he just smirked knowingly.

“We should apologize about last night.” He picked up a piece of cinnamon roll and bite into it, his long lashes fanning his cheek as he enjoyed the bite of ecstasy. When he was done swallowing, he spoke again. “We should have called and let you girls know that we were okay, but we were preoccupied. Emma made sure to lay into us about how disrespectful it was to worry our guest.”

I glanced over at Royal, too preoccupied in his conversation with Roman to catch my eye. I had been worried. I had been terrified. I never wanted to experience that feeling again. But it was worth it? It was worth every hair pulling, side bruising, second of it.

“I was worried, but I’m thankful you boys are alright.” I glanced at the bandage that covered Shaw’s arm. “Mostly.”

He followed my gaze. “This? Hardly a scratch.”

That was a lie, from the story Royal told me last night while lying in bed, that angry burn that covered Shaw’s arm was a testament to how lucky he was to be alive. “Just a scratch, huh? Then why wear the bandage?”

His eyes found Emma, who was completely engrossed in removing a second pan of rolls from the oven. “The chicks dig it.”

As if she knew he was talking about her, Emma lifted her head from where she stood bent over the oven and smiled at him. The shy look that crossed her face had Shaw looking like the big bad wolf, seconds away from eating her up. I looked between them one more time before turning my body back toward Royal.

Sensing my shift, he reached his hand out to find my thigh without even breaking the conversation he was having. I leaned into him, savoring the warmth of his body. When Roman finished talking, Royal turned his head and leaned toward my ear. “I need to just tie off the details and get on a group call with Troy. Are you okay to leave in an hour, maybe two?”

He kissed my ear when he finished talking, and I swallowed hard as I tried to fight the shiver the action tore from my body. “I—I think I can manage a few hours.”

“Good.” His nose rubbed softly against my neck before his lips planted another kiss. “I promise the reward will be worth it later.”

Before I could dispute his claim, he had already removed his hand from my thigh and pushed himself to stand. The other two men followed his lead, excusing themselves from the table before the trio walked out of the room. I stood, reaching across the table to gather the plates into a stack before carrying them to the other side of the kitchen and depositing them in the sink.

“I’m sorry my husband left his mess there, I thought I trained him better than that.” I rolled up my sleeves and switched the faucet to hot water before searching out a sponge.

Emma snorted. “I think they are all trained better than that, but they have a lot on their mind. It’s what I’m here for anyway.”

She used her hip to try to shoo me away from the dishes and I used mine to bounce her right back. There was no use having us both here and me just sitting and watching her work. Plus, I’d actually enjoyed girl
time, an occurrence I hadn’t gotten often.

I washed dishes, she dried, and when we were done, Emma and I made chocolate chip cookies and fudge squares, which she insisted on packing in a cardboard bakery box to send home with us. We didn’t need all these sweets, but she did admittedly make better cookies than I did, and I figured my niece would love the extra treats.

  Niece?

I inhaled at the thought. It was strange that suddenly I thought of Royal’s family as my own, but it was fitting, especially after whatever terms he and I came to last night. I didn’t have anyone but my father. Whether I started out wanting it or not, Royal had given me all of his loyalty, and with his loyalty came all the people he loved.

A few hours later, after all the baking was done, we set the table with stacks of sandwiches, coleslaw, and fresh fruit. The boys all filed in, stacking their plates high with food, before bringing it out to the patio to eat.

Emma and I had just sat down when Royal came in. He leaned his large frame over the chair from behind me before pulling my hair back into a ponytail with his hand. Using his other hand, he gently wrapped it around my neck, then used his thumb to force me to tilt my head toward his. “Aren’t you ladies going to join us outside?”

“I—I didn’t know if we were welcome.” His finger resting against my pulse distracted me, reminding me of all the delicious things he did last night.

He pulled on the handful of hair, so my head tilted, then his lips skimmed my neck, “You’re always welcome, Amore. Always.”

My eyes found Emma’s sparkling ones, not even trying to hide her amusement. “Do you want us to go outside?”

There was a difference between doing something because he wouldn’t stop us and him actually wanting us to do so. He made a rumbling sound in his throat. “Of course.”

“We’ll be out in a minute, then.” He made another sound in his throat, signaling his agreement, then he gave my neck a gentle bite before pulling away, grabbing some extra napkins, and leaving us. I stood, waiting for Emma to follow. “Looks like our presence is being summoned.”

She laughed. “At least they aren’t using a bell. Plus, I think he genuinely just wants you there. No strings attached.”

We carried our plates and drinks out to the patio, where all three men sat under a giant umbrella, a table sat between them. We lay our food on the table, and as Emma was about to sit in an empty chair, Roman leaned over and pushed it away. Her eyebrows furrowed with anger, until he reached out, hooking his arm around her waist and pulled her onto his lap. He buried his face against her hair and sighed.

After scooting my chair close to Royal, I leaned toward him. Gesturing with my head, I motioned to his friends. “I see a lot has changed since yesterday.”

He reached over and grabbed a grape from my plate. “It appears so.”

“I sort of wish I had the whole scoop. All day with her in the kitchen, and she held out on me.”

He laughed, a rumble I felt through his whole body just by sitting close. “You and me both.”

We both looked up again, seeing Shaw had moved his chair close and had Emma’s feet in his lap. Interesting. Very interesting. As if the coddling was perfectly normal, they all picked up their plate and began eating again, continuing the conversation like there was never a stilled moment.

We stayed outside for another hour, before catching a glance at the clock and deciding we really needed to go home. The drive ahead of us was a long one, and although I trusted my husband fully, I didn’t want to be stuck driving home after dark.

After loading the car with our suitcases and the box stuffed with pastries, I said my goodbyes to Emma and Dot while the boys all promised to keep in touch. I had no doubt that they would. Knowing Royal, the moment he got home, he would be locking himself in his office, working out the fine details of the arrangement he had made with Roman.

We waved out the window as we drove away. Then when we were on the road, Royal reached over, taking my hand in his, lacing our fingers together as he rested our joined hands on his lap. For a moment, even a small one, all seemed right in the world.

  CHAPTER 36

  ROYAL

The temptation to lock myself in my office the moment we got home was strong. But the pull leading me to follow Bianca’s heart-shaped ass up the staircase and into our bedroom was just a tad stronger.

The trip started out on the rocky side, I had to admit to that. It didn’t help that most of my time was spent locked away with the boys working out the details and strategizing for the next phase of the plan to keep Emma safe. Throw in the little detail of the fiery inferno in the barn and the even smaller detail of me not checking in with Bianca after the fact, and well . . . it could have started a little smoother, I suppose.

But, if missing a few steps in the good husband handbook caused a little break in our relationship that lead to the explosive fireworks in the bedroom, then I can’t regret any of it. She was perfect like I knew she would be. The heavenly body of hers that could have only been built for me was flawless. Her voice growing hoarse from screaming my name, absolutely majestic. The ecstasy that crossed her face when an orgasm tore its way through her body brought on by me, my cock, my hand, my tongue, my lips—enchanting wouldn’t begin to describe it.

The thought had my cock growing hard, and the moment we were through our bedroom door, I slammed it shut. After reaching forward and hooking my fingers into the material at her waist, I pulled back until her body slammed into mine. Leaning into her ear, I whispered, “This looks like a new place to claim.”

With one hand holding low on her stomach, I used the other to snake under her shirt, sliding my fingers over her warm skin up to her breast. She hummed low in her throat before licking her lips to speak. “This is true, but let me check on Peter first.”

She began to pull away, and I spun her before turning our bodies and slamming her against the door. My lips went to her neck as my fingers traveled over her sides, along the underside of her arms, until our fingers laced together above her head. “Peter will be fine for another hour, Amore. Your husband, however, will not.”

I kissed a wet trail down her neck searching for any bare skin I could nip at, “Do you know how hard it was to sit next to you for that drive, with your hand in mine, only inches from my cock . . . and not have you?” I bit down on the skin of her breast that was exposed above her shirt line. She gasped, her body bucking into mine, seeking my skin against hers. “I almost pulled over on numerous occasions with the temptation to drag you over the center console.”

“Why didn’t you?” Her voice sounded breathless as I took another bite into her skin.

“Would you have wanted that?” I asked as I switched to the neglected side of her neck, lavishing it with attention.

She hooked her leg around my hip and pulled me toward her, forcing my body to grind against hers. “Mmhmm. God, why can’t I get enough of you? I’m supposed to hate you, Royal. I’m supposed to hate everything you stand for.”

I pushed my hips into the junction of her thighs hard enough to make her moan. “Do you?”

Her head fell to the side, allowing me more access. “Do I what?”

“Do you hate everything I stand for?”

It was important to me to hear the answer to this question. I needed to know she understood me, that I didn’t repulse her with my existence. The silence that hung in the air as I waited for the response seemed to take its own pulse. The anxiety that threatened to drown me as each second went by began to consume me until finally, she shook her head.

“I—I can’t. I wanted to. I wanted to hate you so badly for so many reasons. But I can’t.” She licked her lips. “You have your own morals, and I’m not saying they are always the right ones, but you stick solidly to your beliefs and I respect that.”

I felt the weight leave my shoulders. “Want to know what else you respect?”

She batted her lashes, coyly. “What’s that, Mr. Russo?”

  I let go o
f a hand above her head to undo my belt and release my cock, letting my slacks fall to my thighs. I then slid my hand up her leg and under her skirt, pushing the material to her hip, loving that she didn’t wear underwear. Lifting her body with one hand, I thrust forward, impaling her body with my own. I smirked as her eyes fluttered. “My cock.”

Then I proceeded to show her just how much she should respect it . . . multiple times.

I awoke to a text message early the next morning. Frank’s leasing agent informed me that Frank hadn’t been at his apartment in a few days, and he was concerned. I replied saying I would look into it and I planned to. But Frank was a grown man, and I knew from his past that this wasn’t the first time he disappeared. Although, in the past, he owed me, this time around who the fuck knew what he got himself into.

Allowing myself a few extra minutes cocooned within the blankets, I rolled over, expecting to see Bianca asleep. I was greeted by her wide, green eyes. Shit, they were enchanting. “Morning, beautiful.”

Her eyes batted a few times. “What happened to Amore?”

I reached up, tucking a few wild strands of hair behind her ear. “Amore describes how I feel about you, not what you are.”

A blush crept up her neck and colored her cheeks. “Oh, you are good.”

My eyes roamed to her lips. “You make it easy.”

Her body shook with a sudden bout of giggles. “Mr. Russo, you are quite the sweet talker.”

I leaned close, my lips finding hers for a quick kiss. “Is it working?”

“It might be working.” She closed the few centimeters between us and bit my lips.

When she pulled away, I used my hand to pull her hip into mine. “Might?”

She rolled her eyes upward like she was thinking about it. “Okay, it’s working a little.”
