Everything seemed normal enough.
Ozella confirmed that she had used the power-up, again seeing that the number had gone from one to zero.
But she didn’t feel any different, and there was nothing she could discern by looking at herself.
So Ozella turned back to her bedroom, stepping in and seeing Dinah…
Ozella screamed loudly enough for Zoe to come running, the tiger girl kicking in the door in her bra and panties, claws extended.
“What the hell!?” Zoe asked, looking from Ozella to Dinah.
The nude woman stood before them now, her hands coming to her throat, to her face, to her hair.
Dinah was alive, in the flesh.
Dinah was no longer a ghost.
The End.

Reader,
This series lives on your reviews, so please take a moment to review We Could Be Heroes. Yes, a bit of a cliffhanger here, but don’t hate me – book two will be out by April 19 2019, so if you are reading this after that point, you can immediately start the follow-up!
Your review is social proof that you enjoyed my work, and I can’t thank you enough for reading it and taking the time to review it. It really helps independent authors like me grow our craft and reach more readers, it also helps me to know that people are digging this style of prose and that I should continue writing it.
This is a new series for me, a new style. Please review it.
Other Centralian books:
We Could Be Heroes is related to my other series House of Dolls.
If you want to know more about Roman Martin (white haired guy from the Heroes Anonymous Meeting), Mister Fist, Plume, or Catherine the wind user, you’ll dig the House of Dolls series. It’s dark, strange, and it fleshes out more of the Centralian world, including the other provinces not explored so much in this series. Also, Sam is in this series as well as a bit-player.
Here are other ways you can support my writing, hear about the latest updates:
1) Join the Proxima Galaxy on Facebook where I look for ARC (advanced Review Copy) readers and give away audiobooks
2) Review the books, which generates more interest from other readers, which makes me write faster because (carrot dangling from the stick!) – I want to please you all!
So thanks, yet again, for reading, reviewing, enjoying We Could Be Heroes. I have some surprises for the second installment.
Also check out the Harem Lit page for more adult-themed novels! Another good one is the LitRPG books page.
