Nadia smacked his ass, “Good idea.”
He mock glared as she giggled and ran for the bathroom…
Dahlia had been at the capitol city on Selana-Esari before, something he hadn’t known until they got there. While Alyndra went to spend the morning with her father, Dahlia volunteered to show them around the city.
He hadn’t had much time to look around last time, he’d only seen a part of the palace and had been in too much of a hurry to make note of the surrounding city. The whole city was much like the palace was. Not as big of course, but all the buildings seemed to be made from the same white stone, much of the walls inside and out were painted murals.
The murals seemed to somehow blend the buildings into the surrounding nature, as the city was full of trees, meadows, and bushes. The only thing that really stood out were the statuary.
Dahlia said, “The statues are in memory of past leaders, and not just of kings, but peacemakers, scientists, and warriors as well. Anyone that had a large impact on Esari society. They also function pretty well as landmarks. Not sure if the Esari use it for that, but I’d get lost in this city without them. Everything seems to blend in and its rather easy to get turned around.”
He smiled, “Good to know.”
Nadia snorted, “It is good to know, I know you two probably don’t need it, but us mortals do.”
Chrystal stuck her tongue out.
Nadia was right of course, his mind had perfect recall, of everything, he had no doubt where he was, or how far down to the millimeter he was from the front gate of the palace. It wasn’t something he paid attention to much, but it was there if he needed it. Unless he went offline, and someone moved him, it was literally impossible for him to get lost, or turned around.
Dahlia asked, “What would you all like to see. There are museums or parks, or we could visit a clothing store, or a library.”
He exchanged looks with Nadia and Chrystal, and saw the answer on their faces. He wouldn’t mind visiting the library, or maybe a museum, he could probably download most of their history and learn a lot. But then, he wanted to keep his mates happy, and there was only one answer to that question, especially since he’d seen all the intrigued looks both Nadia and Chrystal had given Alyndra’s wardrobe the last few months.
He held back the sigh, “Clothes first, and then we’ll see how much time is left before our private lunch with the king.”
Nadia smirked, Chrystal winked saucily, and Dahlia looked at him knowingly and bit her lip, trying to hold back an amused smile.
He wasn’t sure how he felt about being teased, but he was sure it was a sign they were pleased with him at the very least. He didn’t mind the smugness, since it also meant they were happy. Sleeping with three women in the same bed could be pure bliss, both emotionally and physically, or it could be a pure nightmare if they were mad at him. It seemed a no brainer to suck it up and go clothes shopping. Besides, he liked Alyndra’s clothes too, or more accurately, he liked how sexy and beautiful she looked in the exotic body dress wraps, and would reap the rewards of seeing those two in something similar for his efforts.
Dahlia walked over and took his arm, “Don’t worry, I’ll keep you company while they go into raptures about the dress wraps, and gowns. The retail district starts just a few blocks over.”
Her scent, the warmth radiating off her body, and her nearness was captivating. He reminded himself firmly they were just good friends, and she’d come along to make diplomacy her post-warrior career, not to be seduced by, or seduce, a man that already had three mates. He wasn’t sure exactly what to say, and decided not to say the flirty line that was on the tip of his tongue, and stuck with brevity.
“Thanks, lead on?”
She smiled at him in a way that made him doubt himself, and then led them down the street, her hand still on his arm as Chrystal and Nadia moved to bracket them…
Chapter Seven
“I find this difficult, it is hard for me to judge your intentions. Words are so imprecise.”
He took a deep breath and thought for a moment. After the ladies had gone shopping, shopped some more, and then went shopping, they’d returned to the palace for lunch. The king was welcoming and everything seemed to be going well, but apparently not as well as he’d thought. After they’d finished eating, they’d gotten around to talking about a formal treaty of some kind.
Mike wasn’t worried about the Alyndra part of things, the king seemed very satisfied that he was treating his daughter with honor, and that the honor of Selana-Esari as a whole was well kept by Alyndra as well.
The problem came from him and Chrystal being immune to telepathy of course, while they tried to work out some kind of official treaty and recognition between the A.I.s and the Esari. The king could read Nadia and Dahlia, but they weren’t really involved in the world to world portion of things between their races.
Dahlia said a little tensely, “I’ve found Mike to be a man of honor and a man of his word.”
The king waved that away, “Of that I have no doubt. He saved this world, and treats my daughter better than is required to preserve honor. That is not in question. The problem is one of understanding and interpretation. As I said, words are imprecise, thoughts are not.”
He said, “The Xaran had similar concerns because they could not know us twenty years ago, however once we proved our words with our actions, that is now no longer the case.”
When the Xarans speak of knowing a species, it means they take in the DNA, and become that species to understand their driving emotions and things of that nature. That way they could literally understand from the instinctual level what drives the species.
The king nodded, “You speak of mutual support, but what would that mean exactly? We are not a pacifist race, but our abilities fall short to yours in that area.”
He said, “I see, so you are concerned the treaty wouldn’t be balanced? That your side of the agreement would be inadequate to what you would be receiving?”
It wasn’t just the king that was having trouble, he couldn’t read the king either. Obviously not telepathically, but also body language wise, he wasn’t all that sure about things himself. The only reason he thought the king would deal in good faith, was his past actions, and Alyndra being a part of his life. He hoped what he’d said wasn’t taken as insulting, even if true.
It was far more likely in the case of another invasion that he’d have to help them, and that if Mars and its technology were overwhelmed, there wouldn’t be a damned thing Selana-Esari could do about it. It would be uneven. The fact that all he really wanted to do was open Mars to socialize with other races, since they were fairly self-sufficient, didn’t matter, and would most likely be a huge affront.
The king replied, “Yes. There is no honor in that.”
He thought about suggesting they assist Mars with other treaties and deals throughout the empire, maybe even help with discussions with Earth that they’d be moving to soon. That might even the scales a bit, given the fact they were mind readers. The problem was of course, that he already had that in Alyndra. There had to be something else though, and he wished he’d have seen this coming so he could have given it more thought.
“Support doesn’t need to be just military. Otherwise I’d have said mutual defense, instead of mutual support. I regret I didn’t review what your world has to offer with Alyndra before this meeting. Even something as simple as informing us of mischief we should be aware of in the senate would have great value. Yes, Alyndra is with me on the ship, and will be available for that some of the time, but she won’t be with me when I log into my android on Xaran to attend the senate meetings. Just the idea that we will be working together there and looking out for our mutual interests, instead of being at odds politically, would be very valuable.
“While information isn’t on the same level as allying our military with yours on the face of it, it will come up a lot more often. Most likely anyway, and there is balance in that. I’m sure there are ot
her things you can offer as part of the treaty that I’m not even aware of, things that will not impugn on your sovereignty, as we have no wish to do that.”
He felt a bit nervous as he waited for the king’s reply. The king of course, had a poker face on, all the Esari did. The man could be thinking about what he said, or wondering if he left the damned iron on, who knew?
The king asked, “What kind of information?”
He thought for a moment.
“Nothing untoward. Just about specific plots or intentions to take advantage of Mars or Earth. We would provide the same for you, of course much how our military outweighs yours, your ability to ferret out information will eclipse ours.”
The king asked, “What else?”
He shrugged, “Open trade between us for non-restricted technologies. Things like clothing, medical technology on our side, entertainment, things like that. Obviously, the military support and information sharing will be in good faith and free on both sides, the trading we’ll negotiate, or perhaps pass that down to others to handle.”
The king said, “I think we have a tentative agreement, draw up an initial document on what we discussed, and I’ll have my people go over it.”
He sent to Chrystal, “You’ve been quiet, any input on this?”
She replied, “No, you seem to have it all in hand. I’d have spoken up otherwise. Why didn’t you talk to Alyndra about this though, that seems like a mistake.”
He sighed in the silence of his mind.
“I should have, just didn’t think of it. Usually when I spend time with her I learn about her and enjoy her company, not pump her for information about her world. In hindsight it’s stupid, I’ve gotten her advice on a number of other things…”
“I’ll do that. I’ll try and have that to you before we depart tomorrow morning.”
The king nodded, “I have other business, enjoy the rest of your day, and I’ll see you at the celebration tonight.”
He bowed his head as the king got up and left.
“So, what’s the plan?”
Nadia said, “We need to get ready, we’ve only six hours until tonight.”
Chrystal giggled and Dahlia raised an eyebrow.
Chrystal said, “Didn’t you want to spend time with Alyndra? The three of us will start getting ready for tonight, just don’t keep her too long, we’ll take care of her last.”
He nodded, not quite sure why it would take six hours to get ready, but not stupid enough to question it. He also had the feeling his eyes would feast on the results later. They were all always gorgeous, he could just imagine what that would result in after six hours of effort.
“Walk?” he asked Alyndra, he really was curious about that. She’d told him long ago one of her hobbies was to go hiking in nature outside the city, it was why he’d set up the large arboretum on the ship after all. Plus, he did want the one on one time, with Chrystal and Nadia too, there’d be time for that. Chrystal was easiest of course, since after their two-hour offline time, they had another six hours to spend together alone virtually, while Nadia and Alyndra slept.
Nadia usually got the evenings after dinner and before they all went to bed. But the last few days since the last battle in Andromeda, their schedule had been thrown off.
Alyndra said, “I’d love to.”
There was no indication on her face, but based on her voice he could tell she was very pleased, and looking forward to it.
They got up to do that.
Chapter Eight
It was beautiful. He recognized much of the same flora of course, since their arboretum was created from plants, trees, flowers, and bushes from Selana-Esari. The real thing though was different, no walls or ceiling, no doors. Just a nice cool breeze, not to mention the small animals and normal sounds that would be attributed to a forest, including the rustling of leaves in the breeze.
It was beautiful, there was just no other word for it.
He took Alyndra’s hand and would give anything to know what she was thinking. Always hard to read, he didn’t know if she was more relaxed, enjoying herself, or… he didn’t even know. She looked the same as always, beautiful in an alien way, graceful, sexy, and just a little bit aloof. Of course, the aloof part wasn’t really true, it was his human interpretation to her lack of body language. He knew better, she wasn’t snooty or ignoring him, but that didn’t help him discern the true state of her mind.
He also resisted the urge to constantly ask her, to hear her voice so he could comprehend her current state of mind. He could imagine just how annoying that would become for her, if he constantly did something like that. Worse, he knew unlike other women, she would never say so, or even send him any negative signals. Not as his life sworn. Their relationship was rather complicated at times, at least to him it was, but that didn’t mean he didn’t adore her, even love her. He was also sure she returned those feelings, if she’d just felt duty toward him he wouldn’t allow her in his bed. Doing so would have made him despicable in his own mind.
“So, did you come out here often?”
He suppressed a cringe, he sounded like some jackass with a pickup line.
They’d taken the shuttle several miles out of the city, as far as he knew they were the only ones out here, on the edge of a mountain range.
She squeezed his hand and her melodic voice was very relaxed, “At least once a week. I came out here to unwind, clear my head, and sometimes to think.”
She turned without releasing his hand, and as a result they stood very close face to face.
She said wistfully, “I wish I could ready your mind.”
He smiled, “That makes us even, I wish you had body language to read, but all I can read is your voice.”
Alyndra reached up with her other hand and caressed his face lightly as she stepped closer.
“You can read my voice, what is it saying right now?” she asked with sultry promise.
He leaned his head down and their lips barely brushed. Her lips were like silk and caused his body to stir, and he stared into her violet eyes before he leaned down to claim a full lingering kiss. It wasn’t just her voice he could read, when he and Alyndra kissed, and more, he could very much tell she loved him.
It was the only time he could say for sure she felt hot, passionate, and desired him. He knew if his body wasn’t android, his heart would be beating out of his chest as he caressed her waist, hips, and then back up the sides of her body to her face. Still, his breathing was heavier, and before they broke their kiss he was rock hard, and full of desire.
She whispered in longing, “I love you Mike. Make love to me, now.”
He couldn’t help but notice there wasn’t a bed in sight, but the grass did look rather soft under the shade of the tree. It had also been almost a week since they’d had intimacy alone, although they had joined together just last night as a foursome, it was good to have one on one time as well.
“I love you too Alyndra.”
He pulled her close, and kissed her demandingly as his hands explored her petite sexy body. He reached for her pants as she reached for his. It would have been more convenient if she was in one of those wrap dresses, but that was hardly the kind of clothes to hike in.
She nipped his bottom lip, and stepped back, before she laid straight back on the grass and put her legs up, almost bending her body in half as she pulled her pants off. It gave him a very nice view of her legs, ass, and moistened pussy which glistened in the sunlight.
He stepped out of his own pants and dropped to his knees, she just looked at him with desire and need in her purple eyes. Emotions rarely showed there, but when she was in the mood they seemed to almost glow with a palpable needy desire. She slowly opened her legs in a deliberate wanton invitation, unashamedly baring herself to his intense gaze, giving herself to him without reservation or doubt.
She was so beautiful, so sexy, and he couldn’t wait to spear into her tight heat, but he restrained himself and picked up her leg, and kissed her foot, and
then he moved forward slowly as he kissed her ankle, calf, and the rest of the way up her long muscle toned leg. His other hand caressed her other leg slowly, teasingly with a light touch of his fingertips, and his nostrils flared and cock twitched as he caught the scent of her growing heated arousal.
He kissed his way up her thighs, and then around her flowering sex, before he took a long and soft lick along the folds of her labia. His moan of approval echoed her moan of pleasure and her legs spread even further and she arched her back.
“Mike, I want you in me,” she demanded.
He loved that about her, the only time she ever demanded anything, or even showed self-interest, was in bed. He also knew when she’d said make love, she’d meant fuck. Alyndra liked it a little rough, they did make love on occasion, but not often. Of course, he completely ignored her demanding plea, and licked deeply between her velvety folds, greedily lapping up her liquid satin, and then he flicked his tongue against her clit at the apex of the lick.
She moaned half in pleasure, half in frustration.
He did it twice more, before he suckled on her sensitive nub, and slid first one finger, and then two into her tight heat. He moaned in approval as her pussy squeezed his fingers hard, and her body bucked slightly beneath him. He released her clit not wanting to overstimulate, and started to teasingly lick around it, as he started to drive his fingers into her hard and fast.
He paid attention, carefully, as she rose toward completion. Her breath, her beating heart, the way she twisted, bucked, and how hard she pulled his hair. At just the right moment, he sucked her clit into his mouth and batted it with his tongue.
She screamed his name in pleasure, and then her voice was cut off with a gasp, as her body arched. Her liquid ecstasy bathed his fingers, and his tongue as he greedily lapped it up. Her legs closed tightly around his head, and he enjoyed the ride as she rode out the waves of pleasure that wracked her body and mind.
