Moon Hunters Inc.

Justice
When did the good guys get so bad? Justice comes on swift wings in the dark. His friend and boss, Cash, has sent him to Earth to exterminate a criminal convicted on Oison and protected by the corrupt Earth government. While carrying out the judgement, he finds her.
Envy is a pet kept by her evil master. Luckily, he's old and incapable of breeding, so she is still innocent in many ways. Justice has come to make her master pay for his misdeeds. Can she convince him to free her so she can live life on her terms? Will the handsome assassin accept her innocence as a payment for her freedom or will he demand her heart as well?
Book 2
Cyn
Deadly as Cyn, she’s sent on a mission after a bad guy. Alex is sexy as hell. Can he really be the monster her boss believes he is? It’s up to her to prove his innocence or take him out. If he’s really the anonymous mastermind behind the secrets at space station Alpha and the heinous lab hidden at Pluto, can she take out a man she’s grown to love? And how can she love a creature that loves to kill the innocent?
Alex doesn’t know what to make of the beautiful but distant woman who was sent to negotiate a contract with him for Oison. One minute she’s hot as she shows interest in him as a man, the next minute she’s once again the cold negotiator. How can he find a way to get to the woman inside?
With so much at stake and so much muddying their relationship, can they ever find their way to the heart of the matter?
Book 3
Terrik
She had escaped somehow and he felt guilty for not stopping her. The female was the chief of security, guilty of heinous crimes and must be brought to justice for them. Terrik felt guilt for another reason, too. How could he feel drawn to a woman so evil? It was his inability to react that had allowed her to escape. He’d frozen because of the attraction he’d felt for that woman, Lorelai.
Lorelai had almost gotten caught. She’d been like a deer in the headlights as that incredibly sexy man had stared at her. Luckily, reason had returned and she’d gotten out of there. There was a job to be done and she was the only one that could do it. All she had to do was explain to the commander over all the labs, how she had been the only one to escape and make him believe it. The sexy stranger had to be cast to the back of her mind as she prepared to perform her duty.
On opposite sides, was there any way they could ever get together?
Book 4
Brutus
Brutus dreams of a beautiful woman for weeks before he heads to Space Station Gamma. She calls to him and he wants to save her but he isn’t sure where she is. If he could find her, he would protect her from everything, including himself.
Shari has known nothing but a life of hardship and abuse. She wonders if these new people who have come into her life will keep their promises or just give her the same old excuses and pain the others always have.
Book 5
Jazzy
Jazzy is captured during a lab raid and taken far away to another lab. They intend to breed her to the local Romeo and while he’s hot as hell, he lacks personality.
Jetson finds the new girl infuriating but strangely appealing. If she doesn’t give in, she might get them all killed. How can he seduce her when she seems determined to resist?
Book 6
Gabe
Once he reaches Space Station Theta, Gabe is appalled by how the subjects are treated. He is also intrigued by one particular subject. His need to be with her and care for her almost overwhelms his discipline which requires him to stay on target for his mission.
Donato is drawn to the handsome guard, but all guards are bad news. She tries to fight her attraction to him, but for some reason she feels he’s a protector. If she is wrong, it could be the death of her.
Book 7
Isis
Isis was an undercover operative for Moon Hunter’s Inc. most of the time. She has gone into the most dangerous and scariest places there were. She has done things that made her skin crawl to get her job done. Cash wants to send her in undercover in the latest lab he’s found, but there’s a catch. He wants her to work with a government operative named Steve Gorman. She’s been involved with Steve before and that’s just not going to work.
Steve believes he’s in love with the beautiful hunter. They had a one night stand after space station Theta was taken down and now she’s avoiding him. There’s something between them and he’d convinced Cash to team them up so he can explore their connection. Too bad Isis is pissed. She’ll have to learn to compromise because he plans to claim her.
Love and hate can be closely related. Will Isis learn what she really feels for Steve isn’t dislike after all?
Book 8
Duke
Duke is one of Moon Hunter’s originals and he loves his job and helping people. He always thought he’d grow old alone, but that was before he met her. Now all he wants to do is protect her, because she’s been through enough.

She’s been told that all her life, but something is going on and even though space station Zero is far away, something followed her here and threatens her safety and that of those who protect her. Duke is one of those and she can’t bear to see him hurt. What in the world will she do?
Book 9
Duggin
He’d been called in to back up Duke, because whoever backed the labs was coming after the refugees with force. When he met Sharon, he was immediately intrigued. Somehow, she was taken and all he knew was he had to get her back.
All Sharon could think was why me? The bad stuff always seemed to happen to her. This time she’d put herself in danger on purpose to prevent her pregnant friend from being taken. She’d do it again if she had to, but things had just started getting interesting with Duggin and now this.
Book 10
Cash
Cash had messed up. He’d been feeling lower than a gutter worm. Exhausted and half drunk, he’d allowed himself to seek comfort in the arms of his assistant. She was his one true mate, but he couldn’t claim her. Not now, and maybe he’d never be able to.
Dani cursed herself as a fool. She’d been saving money to get away from Cash and her hopeless situation, but now she had to leave sooner. Never sleep with the boss. She knew better, but
her feelings had gotten in the way. Now she would run as far and as fast as she could. Or maybe not so far if she could work for the Mazlans without Cash knowing.
Will he finally claim his one or will he let her go?
Prologue
He would be the last to fall. All the hunters with stock in the company, the one’s he considered family, had mated and were happy. He’d delayed so now he would have to hunt his mate possibly to the ends of the universe. Cash had been a fool to wait, but he was ready now and she was gone.
What the hell was he to do? He’d think she was a hunter as good as she was at hiding. It hurt everyday he was away from her and he knew this was all on him. Cash made a promise to himself, he’d find her no matter what he had to do. Now he would begin his search, one step at a time.
Dani was hiding in almost plain sight. She’d not had enough money to run far. She lived in a small guest house near Razar’s place, but she worked for Lista and she was sure Razar had no idea. Why would he? All she needed to do was hide until she had enough money and a new job and a place to live. Easy, right? Why would anyone come looking for her here?
She loved the job Lista gave her finding jobs and training for the people freed from the labs, but maybe she should do the job from much further away. Now that she discovered Cash was searching for her which was a surprise. She knew because it showed up on a program she had for just that purpose. He wasn’t as good running the programs as she was. He probably never would be, but what if he hired the right person to help?
He might find her then. If he did, would she be able to get away? This whole thing was driving her nuts. Just a little longer and she would have the money to go so far, no one would ever find her unless she wanted them to. For now, she just had to do the best she could and wait it out.
Chapter 1
The Past
Thoughts of Dani echoed through his mind. He should have kept his stinking hands off her and she’d still be here working at his side, bringing him coffee when he needed it, and doing a perfect job of helping him with just about everything.
His weakness and need had overwhelmed him and he’d fucked up. There was no other way to describe it. His siblings wouldn’t help him because they felt they owed Dani some loyalty too. He ought to respect that, but it just pissed him off. So he was an asshole, everyone knew that. It was what made him good at what he did.
“You’re so beautiful.” He’d told her. It was no lie. The woman was the most beautiful person, inside and out, that he’d ever seen. She blushed, a soft pink that made her even more beautiful.
“What’s the matter?” She asked softly. Dani always knew when something was wrong. The woman read him like a book.
“Tar went in the lab that grows the babies. I think we sent him in too early. No word at all and I fear he’s been detected. We have to wait, just to be sure, but if we wait too long, I just don’t know.”
“That young man knows what he’s doing. Communication can often be difficult. His people can protect themselves better than most.”
“That young man is older than any of us.” Cash said with a snort followed with a chuckle. He leaned in closer to Dani to smell her sexy scent. He could barely stand.
“Let’s get you to your quarters before you fall down.” She said as she stepped up to him so he could put his arm around her shoulder. Touching her felt so damn good.
He wasn’t sure why he’d waited feeling the way he did about her. His need washed over him as he fought to keep it under control. As she helped him to his bed prepared to let him fall into it, he grabbed her taking her with him. They landed in a tangle of two needy people with his lips stuck to hers in the kiss to end all kisses.
His tongue slipped passed her defenses and explored every crevasse of her mouth and when she returned the favor shyly siding her tongue into his mouth, he sucked it in and refused to let it go easily. Her taste had addicted him instantly making heat roar through his body. Neither of them was getting out of this bed tonight.
Had he thought things through, but he wasn’t thinking at all. He was feeling so he did what he’d always wanted to do to Dani. The day he’d met her, Cash had fought his inner lover who wanted to take her and never let her get away. Instead he’d hired her, but kept a professional distance. She probably didn’t realize that not only had he wanted her immediately, he’d had no other female since.
Cash brought himself to the here and now. Dani was gone, he was alone, and he wanted her back.
Chapter 2
Dani closed her eyes before she leaned back in her chair. Her back hurt from sitting in the chair for so long. To aid her effort to make more money, she was putting in sixteen hour days. Lista was paying her by the job which helped her get more than an hourly wage would because she was that good. The agreement they had worked well for all of them. Even if it was tiring.
She missed him. Cash filled her mind so much she could even smell him. Her mind called up memories better left forgotten. Her body reacted like a traitor, wanting and needing him desperately. Dani refused to give in, he had made his choice so she had made hers. Now she would finish this. Once she reached the amount of money she needed to break free of this world, she would be gone.
Pulling herself back to the here and now, she began to type, the clatter of keys ringing through the room as she worked hard to complete this important task. Her work would help free the young being raised in the labs and in families they had been placed with. They were used as slaves rather than being raised as children.
This couldn’t be allowed to continue. These poor kids needed to be freed. Dani knew Cash and his people would be freeing the kids put into homes as slaves while the Phoenix went into the facilities and brought hell down on those evil people there. Finishing the task, she sent the list of children placed with outside families so they could be rescued. If she didn’t have to escape this place, she would do the work for free.
Her head pounded as she realized her day was at an end. Going to her kitchen, she fixed a cheap and easy meal. She’d lost weight and looked gaunt. Her bloodshot eyes looked back at her from her reflection in the mirror some idiot had put in the kitchen. The stupid place had a mirror on every room.
Once she’d eaten, she took a shower. Now she could watch the screen if she had a movie or go straight to bed. Bed won out, so she settled in but stared at the ceiling thinking of nothing, but Cash.
Why did the world in general hate her? As much as she cared for him she really wanted memories of him to stop haunting her every waking and sleeping moments.
Dani sat up, her heart pounded as her breath came so fast. Her skin was covered with sweat from some nightmare she couldn’t remember at all. Breathing deeply, she tried to slow her heart rate and her breathing. Why did this happen every damn morning? Was she lucky she couldn’t remember?
Like every other morning since she’d come here, she got up, took a shower, grabbed a bite to eat, got coffee, and sat down at her computer. Turning it on, she sipped at her coffee while her brain played catch up. The screen came up and she clicked the sites she needed. They came up quickly, so she started on her email which had her jobs for the day.
She clicked on one email she didn’t recognize. It turned out to be from Cash.
I’ve discovered you work for Lista finding the information she needs. I have a job for you that I will pay double what you usually make. The information you need is below, but basically I want you to find my former personal assistant, Dani. I need some information from her, but I can’t find her.
At first, it had scared her. She’d thought he’d found her.
Right now I am snowed under finding victims for Lista. If I find time, I’ll let you know.
She pressed send. It was irony at its best. No matter how hard she tried to escape him, he kept showing up in some form or another. Now she got to work, there was another lab that had been discovered that also sent kids to families to work for their keep. What was wrong with these people? She hacked into the place a
nd found a list, then another, and another.
Kids from five to eighteen farmed out around the galaxy. Cash and Razar would find them, she was sure of it. Her next job was less important and tedious. Research and create a list of crops for Oison to grow. She would need to provide data on the cost, demand and selling price for each crop.
It took twenty minutes before she was able to send it on. Lista was doing a lot of work on building the economy of Oison. She made good decisions, but she didn’t like doing the research. Dani was the research queen, or maybe that was researcher for the future queen. Someday Lista’s mate Razar would rule the planet with her at his side.
It was a shame Oison was so close to Cash’s headquarters. It was a beautiful planet that Dani like and wouldn’t mind living on. With Cash so close, she was already taking a terrible risk. As soon as possibly she needed to get gone. Dani shivered as she thought about what could happen if he found her. He’d already torn her heart in half, now he wanted to shred it to pieces.
He missed his personal assistant, not the woman he’d bedded. The woman meant nothing to him, but she loved him. Cash didn’t even know he was so oblivious. The man was a detective and he could be so blind. She laughed harshly to herself. Dani couldn’t go back, not now, not ever. She looked at her clock seeing it was time for lunch. A food bar would keep her going. Her body was to the point that if she didn’t feed it a little throughout the day, it might shut down.
