  Skin Game by Jim Butcher (a Dresden Files novel) claimed the top hardcover spot for the third month, narrowly edging out Charles Stross’s The Rhesus Chart, which took second. Monster Hunter Nemesis by Larry Correia (Baen) was the new runner-up, with 51 titles nominated, up from last month’s 48.

  George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series took the top four paperbacks slots, with last month’s second place winner, A Dance with Dragons, trading places for first place with A Game of Thrones. The new runner-up was Tad Williams’s Happy Hour in Hell (DAW). There were 65 nominated titles, up from last month’s 56.

  The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman retained the top spot on the trade paperback list by a wide margin over second place Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie. Cast in Flame by Michelle Sagara (Harlequin Mira) was the new runner-up with 42 nominated titles, up from last month’s 37.

  The top two spots in media-related books went to Ian Doescher, with William Shakespeare’s The Jedi Doth Return and William Shakespeare’s Star Wars taking first and second place, respectively. There were no new runners-up out of 17 nominated titles, one less than last month.

  Forgotten Realms: The Companions by R.A. Salvatore took the top spot in gaming-related titles for the second month is a row, followed by Forgotten Realms: The Reaver by Richard Lee Byers. There were no runners-up, with 16 nominated tiles, one down from last month’s 17.
