The Fallen Angels Academy Trilogy: Paranormal reverse harem romance Page 3

by Kaylee Kane

I looked into the empty hallway where Lamora and Tessa had disappeared, feeling the loneliness creep inside me. It made me wonder if Lamora had been just a product of the imagination of my overly stressed-out mind. Maybe my desperation of wanting a mate and not coming for a few weeks had taken their tolls on me.

The only evidence of her being there was my cock rising high and the white powder on my chest.

  “Lamora…”

  3

  Lamora

“Rise and grind, honey!” shouted Tessa, followed by a blinding glare from hell scorching my eyes. I squinted through my half-open eyes to see Tessa standing there, staring out of the window. I wondered what was out there for her to always look out the window. She was wearing her black corset but with a pair of denim shorts like mine. I figured the corset was her signature style or something. “Get ready soon. You don’t want to be late for your first class.”

I sat up on the edge of the bed, rubbing my temples as the memories of the encounter with the intimidatingly gorgeous Archangel Aliuth flooded back into my mind. A rush of hot blood sizzled through my veins as the mental images of his massive package replayed in my head. If only I stayed a little longer…“Are we going to meet Aliuth again?”

Tessa shook her head without looking away from the window. “No, silly. Aliuth was never banished. Only naughty brats like us go to classes because we need to be re-educated.”

I tried not to let my disappointment show on my face as I put on my black shirt and denim shorts. “So what does he do here?”

Tessa shrugged. “He’s assigned here as a guardian angel by the Divine Principal himself. He’s supposed to keep the Agents of Darkness at bay but they were just too strong, too sneaky. Too many of them.”

  I nodded.

Tessa’s face lit up with a mischievous glow when she finally turned to me. “Speaking of guardian angels, we’re going to pull a prank today.”

“Wait, what? Why didn’t I get a memo?”

  “You’re getting one now.”

My nerves rose within me when Tessa grabbed me by the wrists and looked into my eyes. “Now, I know you want Archangel Aliuth. You can’t lie to me about this thing.”

I gulped, blush rushing through my cheeks. “No, why would you say so?” I lied.

“You can’t bluff me, Lamora. I could see through your lying eyes.” A smirk quirked up her lips. “I know how much you wanted Aliuth last night. You were so wet I could smell your pussy.”

My stomach lurched. If Tessa could smell my pussy, then Aliuth would have known. Panic engulfed me. Oh my god, how could I ever face Aliuth again when he knew what a slut I was for him? Suddenly, Tessa burst into laughter. “You look like you’re freaking out. Caught ya! I’m kidding.”

  “Jeez, it’s not funny.”

  “Did you shave?”

“What?” That was a random enough question to ask a roommate you just got to know last night.

“I’m asking if you shaved your pussy, homegal.” I thought Tessa was smoking something strong when she added, “We’re going on an adventure, kay? I want to make sure that you’re properly equipped.” Whatever that meant.

“Um, yeah.” I always shaved no matter what. I couldn’t stand the sight of a single hair on my body except on my face.

“That’s great. You should change into something more accessible.”

“Accessible?” I was still trying to figure out what Tessa meant by that when she pulled out a strapless black top and denim mini skirt out of my backpack. I started to think I might be on the receiving end of her planned prank when she shoved the outfit into my arms.

“Get changed quick. We’ll have to run if you keep stalling time.” Rolling my eyes, I got changed into the outfit Tessa chose for me. She stood there with her fists on her hips and glared at me. “You’re not wearing your panty.”

  “What? No way!”

“You’ll have to take it off. It’s part of the plan. Do it before we’re late.”

With a resigning sigh, I rolled my eyes and took them off. Checking myself for one last time in the mirror, Tessa ushered us out of the room.

The first sight of inmates other than Tessa and I met my eyes when we set foot in the academic block. It was easy to tell apart the Hearts of Gold and fallen angels. The angels had a gothic look about them in their dark-colored clothes. Tessa stood on her toes and glanced around as if she was looking for someone when I tugged at the hem of her denim shorts.

“So what’s this prank you speak of?” I whispered, darting my eyes around to make sure no one could hear us. Luckily, none of us here had super-hearing powers. The last thing I wanted was to get into hot soup in my first semester because of some foolish pranks. I wouldn’t forgive Tessa for that.

Tessa shushed me. “Everything has been pre-planned. All you need to do is participate.”

“That doesn’t confide me at all,” I whispered. I was pretty sure Tessa didn’t hear me when she grabbed me by the wrist and ushered me into a classroom. Oh god, a classroom. The last time I set foot in one was probably a few centuries ago. I stood there, heaving in the musty smell of wood. There were three long benches that stretched from one side of the room to another. The ceiling stretched two-story high, very tall for a classroom and the ceiling-to-floor colorful window panes cast rainbow over the wooden bookshelves at the back of the classroom.

Oh god, more books. I was about to go and explore the books when Tessa grabbed me by the arm and ushered us to our seat. I looked around to see if there were any familiar faces but found none.

Tessa and I sat on the first bench because she wanted a better view. I was wondering why Tessa was so interested in learning things that she would’ve probably mastered until Professor Mafento stepped into the classroom. My breath was caught in my throat when my eyes fell on the three hundred something angel. Damn, he looked gorgeous.

With a grim look on his face, Professor Mafento looked even more broodingly intimidating clad in a cloak black as the night, blustering behind him as he maneuvered around. I arched my brow at Tessa, who couldn’t stop giggling to herself and slapped me lightly on my arm.

“Ouch.” I rubbed the reddened part of my arm. I never thought Tessa was into ageplay. Introduction to Magic 101 was a bore and the only challenge had been trying to stay awake while Professor Mafento spoke. It was the quietest hour for Tessa, who had been staring dreamily at the older male.

I glanced around the class as stealthily as I could without being caught by Professor Mafento when my gaze fell on the guy sitting on the last bench. My heart almost stopped when my eyes were interlocked with the brooding green irises. My cheeks burned as I quickly turned away and sucked in a deep breath.

Who the fuck was the stunning brooding guy sitting at the corner of the last bench?

“That’s Demigod Ehreus,” muttered Tessa. “You’re welcome.”

Damn, he’s hot. How could Tessa not stir in the presence of someone with so much sexual aura glowing about him? That’s right. Tessa was too busy checking out Professor Mafento as he scribbled on the electric board and talked about the origin of magic.

I tilted my head back, stealing glances of Demigod Ehreus. His shoulders looked broad in the black leather jacket that matched his hair that looked unruly in a delicious way. His bushy brows looked manicured, framing his deep-set eyes. I almost melted when he bit his sexy lip.

I squeezed my legs together as the space between my thighs was getting hotter and wetter. “Wait a minute, you said only the naughty ones are going to classes. But he’s a Demigod.”

Tessa gave me a wry half-smile. “Oh trust me, darling. This one is a bad, bad boy.” A dark need grew inside me, making sparks fly in my tummy. I glanced back and took another glance at the bad boy, feeling my blood sizzling through my veins.

The first class passed meaninglessly. Tessa let out a nostalgic sigh and switched back to her own talkative self as Professor Mafento breezed out of the class, black c
loak blustering behind him. “Oh god, he was such a ladykiller, wasn’t he?” Tessa’s dreamy eyes glazed out as she stared blankly into space where her hot professor crush had been.

I was too busy checking out the demigod’s perky ass as he walked past. His dark-washed designer jeans wrapped tightly around the sturdy legs. Without glancing in our direction, Ehreus walked out of the class like a breeze.

  “It’s prank time.”

The campus fell into a spell of silence once again when the classes were over and the students seemed to have scrambled back to whatever holes they had been hiding in. It was so strange but I was too carried away with this said prank that Tessa got me into to think about how strange the whole phenomenon was.

“What exactly do you have in mind, Tessa?” I asked, my voice betrayed my urgency and frustration, as we walked towards the locker. Tessa shushed me and glanced around before she opened her locker door and took out a bucket full of toads. I grimaced in disgust when she shoved the handle of the bucket into my palms and muttered, “So you’ve been toad.”

“Holy fuck, Tessa. This is so disgusting.” Where the fucking hell did she even get these disgusting creatures from? I thought they weren’t native on this planet?

Tessa rolled her eyes and slammed her locker closed. “What Angel of Mischief are you? I thought you were supposed to be the expert.” I let out an explosive sigh and was this close to blurting out the truth when she pushed me through the door of the staircase.

My skirt hiked up with every step I took, so I had to keep pulling the hem down. The cold breeze brushing against my pussy was getting so distracting.

The bucket sloshed as I dragged my feet upstairs following Tessa’s lead where we ended up in the same rooftop I was on before.

We stood at the edge of the building, overlooking the campus ground where I saw the shadow of the Agent of Darkness. I wondered if he was still within the walls of the academy when Tessa burst into my reverie.

“This vent.” She motioned at the vent in front of us. I vaguely remembered it being there last night but everything was so dark I couldn’t see or remember how the roof looked like. “Is connected to the conference hall where the archangels are having a meeting right now.”

I nodded. “Uh-huh.” Tessa shot me a look that connected all the dots. “Oh god, no, this sounds like a terrible idea.” Though I had said that, my naughty side and curiosity were rooting for me to do it. It sounded like a fun idea actually.

“Oh come on, you know you want to do it, Lamora. It’s going to be so funny.” Tessa couldn’t help giggling. I gazed into the abyss of the vent. I could hear muffled voices. I was debating with myself if I should pretend to be a goody-two-shoes or unleash my true mischievous self when Tessa grabbed the bucket and tipped it over.

Her perfectly aligned teeth revealed as she grinned. “You’re taking so damn long.” She chucked the bucket aside and squatted down. A few seconds later, there was a muffled shout, followed by a throng of cusses. Tessa and I burst into laughter. My hand flew to cover my mouth.

Tessa slapped her knee and suddenly turned at me with a serious look on her face. “Now run. They’re coming for us.”

“Wait, what?” Tessa got up and bolted towards the door where we came from. “Wait up!” I struggled to pull my hem over my ass and catch up with her. She had disappeared when I got to the top of the stairs. A sudden realization that she played me by tricking me into wearing this very inconvenient outfit and framing me for the prank she’s planned dawned in me. A wave of fear and anger shot through me. “Holy shit, Tessa, you jerk!” I muttered and tried to get downstairs as soon.

Once I jumped from the last flight of step, my stomach lurched when Aliuth was standing right in front of me with his muscular arms crossed over his equally muscular chest. He didn’t look pleased. His shadow loomed over me as he towered me with his height. I pretended not seeing him but when I tried to get to the door, he stood in my way.

“Oh, hey,” I said. “You’re blocking my way.”

  “It was you, wasn’t it?”

“Me what?” I tried to muster up the most innocent look I could manage. When his brooding blue eyes fell on me, my mind started whirling like crazy. The memories of last night came gushing in. I still remembered how solid his muscles had felt against my fingertips and the sheer thought of it made me want to touch him so much. Part of me wanted to admit all the wrongs that had been committed just so he could punish me.

Aliuth shifted his feet. “The toads in the conference room. It wasn’t funny. I know it was you.”

I shook my head. My lips were trembling from the dirty thoughts spiraling in my brain. “It wasn’t me.”

He rolled his eyes and let out an explosive sigh. “I knew it. It was Tessa, wasn’t it?” I figured it wasn’t the first prank Tessa had pulled. If she did this for sports, Aliuth would know. I didn’t want to get her into trouble.

“I’ve got no idea what you’re talking about.”

“I know it’s her. She’s going to get into real deep shit this time.” My nerves rose in me. I wrapped my arms around Aliuth’s when he was marching away.

“No, please!” My heart somersaulted to my throat when Aliuth growled and shot me a glare. I quickly took my hands off and stepped back. I couldn’t let Tessa get into trouble. “Fine. I did it.” Hot blood was sizzling in my veins when he looked at me with an angry expression. I hated how attractive I found him when he looked like this.

His muscles expanded as he loomed over me with his build. I cowered and stepped back until he cornered me. I’d never felt so helpless and tiny until right now when I had nowhere to go. I could feel the wrath of his breath vibrating the air and caressing my cheeks.

“Do you have any idea what is all this cost?” He snarled and punched his fist on the wall next to me, inches away from my face. I gulped, cursing at Tessa for dragging me in this shit and leaving me here alone to deal with this archangel.

“I…I don’t know…I’m sorry, kay? It was just a joke.”

“A joke?” His fiery eyes looked like they were about to burst from his skull. “That’s it. I’m taking you to the court. It’s for your own good. If you don’t get your punishment, you won’t repent from your mistakes.” My stomach plummeted when he grabbed onto my wrist. I couldn’t believe I was about to be brought to the court for judgment on my second day here.

My nerves rose in me as I tried to writhe out of his iron grip. Kinda wished that I had that flour Tessa had got last night. “No, please. I’m sorry, okay? There–there must be something else I can do to make up for it.”

A breathless gasp escaped from Aliuth’s chest as his irises expanded. The color on his cheeks darkened as he turned away from me. “No…” he muttered. The veins on his muscular arms swelled as his breathing got rougher and deeper.

With a gulp, I glanced down and saw his package expand and double in size right before my eyes. My mouth and throat went dry. I licked my tongue over my parched lips as the dirty thoughts of what was hidden beneath those dark blue jeans danced in my head. A primal desire living deep within me awakened and blossomed.

I almost forgot how much I had craved for those yummy biceps to be wrapped around me. Suddenly, my slutty side had come to life. I couldn’t get him last night. This might be my second chance of getting laid. And you don’t get many second chances in life. I figured I had to get out and chase what I wanted with a sledgehammer.

I let out a needy groan and traced my long fingers over his throbbing biceps. “You don’t know what you’re getting into, Lamora.” His voice sounded so raspy and sexy, making the skin on me scorch.

“Mmmm…you still remember my name.” Aliuth’s face contorted with lust as he glared at me.

“I’m being serious, Lamora. You’re new here. You don’t understand the danger you’re in.” I continued to trace my hands over his chest, feeling his heart thunder erratically against my palms. His muscles firmed up by my touch but he wasn
t stopping me. Instead, his grip on me loosened.

“I only ever know the danger of not going after what you want and living a miserable life of regret and sorrow.” Our eyes interlocked. We were in such close proximity that I could feel the solid wall of his chest touching my breasts with every heaving breath. Every cell within me yearned to close the distance between us. I wanted to be enveloped in his embrace, to be melded skin to skin, to be fused into one with Aliuth.

“You don’t want me to do this to you.” Aliuth clutched the side of my face, his hot breath melded with mine. The warmth of his palm emanated against my cheek. My own breathing was getting heavier, reflecting Aliuth. I couldn’t think straight anymore as those brooding eyes pierced straight into my soul.

“You’ll have to do it,” I said through my half-gasping voice. I licked my lips and gulped. “I’d rather give it to you than to have an Agent of Darkness ripping it from me.”
