President Chambers made a face. “I see. Akkadian women don’t share.”

“Exactly,” said the Akkadian President with a chuckle.

“Empress, do we have to wear these…these…clothes,” said Queen Tabitha.

“Endure it,” replied Beral III. “They put up with our ways while they were in our domains.”

“Not all of them,” said Lord Talos.

“Never fear, my lord,” said Beral. “These aliens will regret slighting our people when we discuss potential trade partners and allies tomorrow.” The Bellasarians were speaking verbally. Many of the assembled dignitaries could hear them. Some of them, the ones who couldn’t take the Bellasarian culture any longer and went straight to Akkadia, began to squirm nervously. Many had mistakenly assumed that they would be able to get the things they really wanted from the Bellasarians from the Akkadians and avoid exposing themselves any further to the naked and lewd barbarians of the empire. By now however, it was clear that they couldn’t make good on any agreements with Earth without the empire’s cooperation. The Akkadians totally lacked the dimensional portal technology. They feared that their actions may have jeopardized the entire purpose of this unprecedented event, at least where their nations were concerned. They were right.

President Chambers noticed a very large woman sitting amongst the high nobility. She had seen this giantess before, only this time her face was uncovered. Her long snow white hair was pulled back in a topknot with bangs in the front. She had full lips, her eyes were brown and she had high cheek bones with a pleasingly shaped nose. Her skin was light brown. This, along with her other features showed much mixed ancestry. She was at least seven feet tall with breasts damn near equal in size to the empress’s. In her case though, because of her overall size, they seemed less excessive. The rest of the woman was just as voluptuous and well-proportioned. Unlike the empress, this woman would never be confused for fat no matter what she wore and the Earth/Akkadian style dress she was wearing did nothing to deemphasize her incredible figure, in fact, just the opposite. This woman was perhaps one of the most stunningly beautiful women she had ever seen in her life, stunning even among the beauties of Bellasaria. Years ago the president had seen a black haired beauty that had looked just like her on TV when former President Hill visited Bain Island thirty five years ago…Earth time. The future president had been a much younger woman of fifteen then, but she never forgot that woman. How could anyone forget a woman like that? Aside from her hair, she hadn’t changed at all, even though by Bellasarian time centuries had passed. President Chambers knew she had suspected it all along, but…was that possible? Maybe she was just a descendant. Then Beverly saw the forest queen and her daughter approach the large elder.

If there were any remaining doubts to this woman’s identity, the way Princess Abe nearly fell over herself to speak with her personally removed them. The wild girl had never been so respectful and excited to see anyone since the president had first seen her at the Bellasarian capital, not even the empress. President Chambers knew that the Great Forest Kingdom was founded by Harold the Great, a son of Cato Curtis. But she also knew that Harold’s mother was the High Lady Gorgo. That meant that if she was right this woman was Princess Abe’s direct ancestor, and not just hers. Prince Tabba, whose father, High Lord Talos, was also a direct descendant of Cato and Gorgo, also seemed quite excited to meet her. Very respectfully, Queen Tana approached and said words to the big woman who smiled and placed her hands on both of the young people’s heads and closed her eyes. After a moment she opened her eyes and both of the young people smiled gratefully and returned to their place. The empress and her consort had been watching with pride from their place and the large woman smiled and nodded to them.

The giant woman then looked at Beverly and smiled wider. Her fangs appeared fully and the American President felt a chill. There was no mistake. This woman could only be who she thought she was. That would mean the other woman she’d seen with her when she was in Illia was definitely “The” Bellasaris of Bain. Then she heard a familiar voice in her head.

“The old lady is very beautiful, no?”

President Chambers looked over. The First Lady of Akkadia was watching the squirming and uncomfortable Bellasarians as well. It was blatantly obvious that she enjoyed watching them tried to conform to her people’s ways. It was also obvious that she had NO clue who the old lady really was. ‘Old Lady’, President Chambers sighed. Gorgo was older than anyone on Earth and most of the folks on Bellasaria, but she had almost every man in the place drooling and many women green with envy. President Chambers really hated Bellasarians sometimes.

“Yes, she is a most beautiful woman,” replied Beverly dryly.

“All of these men are just dying to know what those big boobs look like. But they’ll never get a look here! We Akkadians don’t tolerate lewd and immoral behavior in our nation!” said the First Lady firmly.

President Chambers felt uneasy, and for two reasons. The first being that Gorgo was now revealing her presence openly when before she and her sister were content to observe from the shadows and in disguise. The second was that she had shown her teeth to her. Even President Chambers knew that teeth shown to strangers by a feral mutant was never a good thing, and if history was correct, Gorgo hated humans almost beyond tolerance.

“You don’t know who that is?” asked President Chambers, just to be sure that this sanctimonious woman was as clueless as she thought she was.

“Obviously she’s some old relative,” said the Akkadian First Lady. “Big over developed women are very common among those people! No doubt the elder was giving the two Bellasarian royals a blessing for their upcoming marriage. It hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s coming. Humph! The two have been fornicating all over the place since that incident in Illia. I would say it’s obvious that they bonded. I’m surprised they were able to make the little she-panther wear clothes of any kind here.” First Lady Kaminski chuckled. “She can barely walk in those shoes. That old granny must be someone special to make that wild child come here and conform without complaint.”

The American President looked at the Akkadian First Lady and decided right then and there that the woman was a prudish moron.

President Chambers, the First Man and a small number of other Earth leaders and their aides were escorted to the inner chambers of the presidential palace. The French President looked nervously at the huge mutant warriors standing guard by the doors. These men were not Akkadians. This room was not as large as the ballroom, but it was large enough to comfortably seat all of the Bellasarian leaders and the selected Earth leaders and their aides.

The Akkadian President and his wife were seated in their proper place, but President Chambers noted right away that Empress Beral III and High Lord Talos, now dress in the robes of their own land, were not seated in the place of honor usually reserved for guests of their stature. These places were sitting vacant between them and the Akkadian President and his wife. Who or what could bump the empress and High Lord of the Bellasarian Empire from their place of honor? President Chambers had a good guess. When the Earthlings had been shown to their places there was a moment of nervous silence and then President Kaminski stood and nodded to a young page, who quickly left and moments later returned white faced.

“They are coming, Mr. President,” he panted excitedly.

Several powerfully built mutant warriors entered the room first and placed themselves accordingly and then a small group of people entered, all with snow white hair or hair turning white. In front was a tall beauty with a voluptuous figure that had to be seen to believe. She had light golden brown skin and her hair reached to her ankles. Her eyes were brown and she had full lustrous lips. Her nose was aquiline. President Chambers recognized her immediately from the old footage of President Hill’s and Torre’s diplomatic encounters decades ago, but her hair was shorter and
reddish brown then. She was not as large of breasts as the Lady Gorgo towering behind her, but she was nonetheless most impressive in that area.

Beside her was a very handsome man that had been the object of both mutant and human girl’s fantasies (even on Earth) and the hero of mutant boys for generations. Although outwardly he appeared to be no more than a youth in his early twenties himself, he was centuries old. He was tall and was muscularly built. His white hair was long and pulled back and he had green feline eyes…eyes that many of the Bellasarian kings and queens shared, and not by accident. His complexion was chocolate. Several of the Earth and Bellasarian women were already slack jawed.

Everyone stood. These were obviously elders of great age. Some of the few who realized who they were dropped to their knees and pressed their faces to the floor immediately, much to the surprise and curiosity of some of the other V.I.Ps.

“Welcome, honored ancestors,” said Empress Beral III, “this is truly a great and unprecedented honor.” It was now dawning on many of the gathered mutants who these people were. Other Bellasarians began to fall to their knees. Others just stood there gaping, unable to speak or move. “President Kaminski, First Lady Kaminski, allow me to introduce you to my revered ancestors, Bellasaris the Great, Queen of Bain, Queen of Illyria, mother of the Bellasarian Empire and liberator of the mutant race.” The white haired woman inclined her head to the Akkadian President and his wife. The Empress then turned to the large male beside her. “Her mate, Lord Cato of Bain, The Great Cat, The Great Ancestor, Destroyer of Enemies, Death Made Flesh, and the father of mighty houses.” The tall black man also inclined his head to his hosts.

“It can’t be,” whispered someone among the Akkadians.

“The Cat!” breathed one of the Illyrian lords. “It…It’s really him!” Women from the empire began crying. An Akonian princess fainted. Immediately every Bellasarian still standing dropped to his or her knees. Most of the Bellasarians never believed that they would ever see these people in this world. Most had believed that they had been dead for at least a thousand years. The few who suspected that these people might still be alive had imagined very ancient frail people barely able to walk. Some, after the appearance of Lady Gorgo last night, knew this was not the case, but few actually recognized the giant beauty, and her kin had remained silent about her identity.

Poor President Kaminski, his wife and the other Akkadians could only stand there in shocked disbelief. They had been told people of great import would be here today, but they never dreamed…

  Finally, the Akkadian President spoke.

“Queen Bellasaris, High Lord Cato, this is a GREAT honor! Welcome to my country! Please, take your seat here as my honored and revered guest.”

Bellasaris smiled and thanked President Kaminski, but insisted on introducing her companions first, starting with the lady Gorgo whom many had seen before at the dinner last night. The First Lady, remembering her conversation with the American President the previous evening, now felt ill.

When the introductions were done, a number of the Bellasarian leaders stood and respectfully gave up their seats to the newcomers and then stood quietly behind them. No shame would be had by doing this, seeing how most of these elders were the own ancestors ranging from great grandparents to ancient founders of a great house going back to the mutant revolt two thousand years ago, by Bellasarian time.

“Well,” said Bellasaris looking at President Chambers and the other Earth representatives, “humans from the homeworld are once again on my planet. The last time you were here we were invaded even as our leaders spoke of trade and friendship.”

“That was the actions of one rogue general,” said President Chambers, “and he had mutant collaborators, both Earthling and Bellasarian.”

“Indeed,” laughed Bellasaris. “Actually, there are many here who owe everything they have now to that alliance, no? After all, your people are directly descended from those mutant collaborators, isn’t that right, President Kaminski?”

“Yes, this is true, Venerable One,” replied Kaminski. “However, we feel no shame in this. We but used the humans to our own end the same way we knew they were using us. They had every intention of betraying and murdering us once they didn’t need us any longer.”

Bellasaris chuckled and said, “Truly. But they all died instead and here we are.”

“Queen Bellasaris,” said President Chambers, “I thought I had recognized you, your husband and the Lady Gorgo back in Illyria at the informal party. I wasn’t sure though until last night when the Lady Gorgo openly joined us for dinner. If I might be so bold, why are you coming out into the open now? I mean, even your own people thought you were dead long ago, most of them at least.”

“Most of them will continue to believe we are dead,” said Cato. “Only a small percentage of people outside of the family have seen us. The commoners and humans will be taken seriously much the same way that one of your people who claims to have seen…er…What was that man’s name again, Elvis? They will not be believed. Besides…if the worst should happen we will all come out of the hidden realm anyway. This is no small matter the empress has begun.” Then Cato looked at King Roc. “We can no longer ignore certain policies and incorrect behavior. In this great city these old bones will be buried for good and unity achieved. Do I make myself clear?”

It had been no secret that King Roc was opposed to his son’s marriage to Queen Bal. The empress sympathized of course. After all, her daughter was going to have to settle for second place now. Yet she too had made her feeling clear on the matter and King Roc basically gave grudging consent with every intention of somehow sabotaging the bonding. Even Bellasaris couldn’t get the king to make a genuine effort to end the feud and bless the marriage.

But now, with but a single look from his ancestor, Roc bowed the knee and swore to accept Queen Bal as his daughter. Bellasaris took this with mixed feelings.

From the days when they first became free of the humans, the males served Cato without question. He gave an order and they jumped no questions asked. She was another story. Her word was law, but she was never revered by the men the way they revered Cato. Oh they loved her, but Cato…Well, they practically worshipped him. Every boy wanted to be like him. Every girl dreamed of mating with him…even lesbians! Cato wasn’t just a man; he was “THE” man!

Bellasaris sighed. The smartest things she ever did was sparing Cato’s life after their duel for supremacy over the mutants, allowing him to continue to lead the males and lastly, making him her mate. Actually, making him her mate was not an option. She had bonded with him and that was the driving force behind all of her other conscious and unconscious actions.

“My dear kings, queens and other heads of state,” said Bellasaris, “as my lord Cato has said, this is no trivial matter. Personally, I see little advantage to any interaction between our peoples, but I do not rule here, I merely give council and observe. Well,” said Bellasaris looking at the empress, “shall we begin?”

  CHAPTER SIXTEEN

ELDER MANUEL’S STORY, ABOUT EARTH WOMEN

It was later in the evening and Cato sat in a place of honor in the Akkadian President’s private chambers with several other male leaders. This was a guy’s only gathering (aside from the servant girls) and drinks were flowing freely as the elders told stories.

Barry Chambers, the First Man, watched and listened in envy and awe as men in their hundreds or even older spoke on events ranging from the great slave revolt on Bain to their adventures on Bellasaria. It was truly amazing. And seeing Cato Curtis here in the flesh? For the mutants this was the same as if Gorge Washington suddenly appeared very much alive at the White House in America today.

“Honored ancestor,” said a southern chief, “I never believed that I would ever see you in this life. Why have you been keeping out of sight?”

Cato grinned, casually sipped his beer and said,
“I’m retired boy. I wanted to kick back and enjoy my old age and my women.”

The men chuckled and nudged one another. Every man in the room, both human and mutant, was shamelessly jealous of Cato.

“If it’s not too forward to say so, Lord Cato,” said the Akkadian President, “but if I was married to those two women, I’d settle down somewhere and enjoy my retirement too.”

  “Indeed,” another man laughed.

“It was also a good way to stay out of trouble,” laughed Cato. “Hidden away in a secret retreat surrounded by my own kin and wives, there wasn’t any cause for my women to be concerned about new rivals and new children…at least by other women.”

“My, it’s good to be you, isn’t it?” said a white haired elder.

“It hasn’t been all roses, boy,” said Cato. The Earthmen and Akkadians looked curiously at Cato and the other man. The elder looked to be at least twenty years older than Cato, but it was now obvious that this was not the case. Cato grinned and said, “Manuel, why don’t you tell your story to our guest. They’ll find it amusing.”

The elder grinned. He cleared his throat and began to relate his tale.

“I was born on Earth,” he said. “I was a farm kid on Paolo when it was attacked by Bellasaris in revenge for President Garcia’s involvement with General Bishop’s invasion of Bellasaria and Reverend Green’s failed coup on Bain…and for trying to steal our teleportation technology. Well, a lot of us mutants had been hiding and passing ourselves off as human for reasons you well know. But when the fighting started we did our best to defend our nation and that’s how I was caught.” Manuel chuckled and shook his head. “The humans were being slaughtered in droves, but the male mutants were a valuable commodity. Those Bellasarian women were snatching up any young mutant man they could get their hands on! I was pretty strong back then, but this big blond girl with the biggest, roundest tits I’d ever seen dropped me on my ass faster than I could blink!” The elder threw back his head and laughed. “That’s how I was beaten in the first place now that I remember. She was topless and those things were just out there bouncing around. Beautiful naked women are no big deal on Bellasaria, but to a kid from Earth? I was staring so hard at those babies that I didn’t see her fist coming until it was too late. I swear! I saw pink nipples floating around my head instead of stars!” The men in the room all howled with laughter at this. “Well, by the time my head cleared she had slapped an inhibitor collar with her name on it around my neck and I was as weak as a human. She threw me over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes and carried me off.”
