“Sir? Should I set course for the station?” Daniels asked.
Sharp would have to wait, Pierce thought as he stared at the embryo unit. Now, he had to focus on getting his children to safety. Half a year wouldn’t be long for them. If they’d survived five hundred years, they could manage another six months.
“Yes, Lieutenant. Set course for the station,” he replied and switched off the comm. “I will be here with my children,” he mumbled to himself as he pushed back to the embryo unit. “I will never leave them again.”
