"Feeling the sexual tension in the air?" he asked. She nodded. "That's how much we fit together, Ariana. I want you so much. I’ve ached for you since the very beginning."

"It's just the sex that's talking, Jayden," she argued, making her voice strong and stern again.

"It could be," he agreed with his mouth brushing against the side of her neck. "But I want more than just sex with you. Sex is just a bonus, I'm afraid. But do you know what I'm really after?"

She gulped, afraid of what she would hear. "What are you really after, Jayden?"

He turned her around, her gasp echoing in the air. He stared directly into her eyes, never breaking eye contact with her as he leaned closer. "I'm after you, Ariana. Just you and no one else."

Her heart pounded against her chest. She could feel it beating so fast to the point of palpitation. She hadn't taken any coffee this morning at all. So it must be from the air current that made her toes curl from pleasure. Her nipples were sensitive and beaded beneath the cups of her bra. Her heat grew slick and wet while her clit throbbed. She ached for his fingers, his cock that made her come twice.

He smirked abruptly. "I can feel how wet you are, honey."

"I-I'm not," she stammered once more.

His smirk turned into a grin. "Shall I find out?"

Before she could respond, he had his hand sliding all the way down her hips to her thigh. He pushed his fingers inside her legs and directly at her clit. She moaned, holding onto his shoulders as he began to explore her. She was so wet that it made it easier for him to maneuver around her panties. With the fabric pushed to the side, he stuck his fingers inside the labia and found fleshy pearl that continued to ache.

While he continued his exploration, she bit down harder on her bottom lip to stop any sounds from coming out of her mouth. She still didn't trust his office to be soundproof. A small moan from her could reveal what they were doing inside. Her taking too long was enough of a giveaway of what was happening between them. The last thing Ariana wanted was to be humiliated and to lose her job.

Her train of thoughts were quickly wiped away when he thrust his forefinger and middle fingers inside of her. She threw her head back, unable to stop the groans that continued to spill from her mouth. He was finger-fucking her so fast that it had her eyes rolling at the back of her head. Her legs were spread apart now and she eased herself into a better position while he pleasured her.

"So tight and wet," he said as he looked down where his hand disappeared inside her skirt.

The act was so sinful that she couldn't help but flutter tightly around his fingers. This had Jayden groaning quietly, quickly thrusting his fingers in and out of her hole as if there would be no tomorrow. Everything relied on this moment as she buried her face into his neck, arms wrapped around him as she felt the butterflies in her stomach starting to spread out. Before she knew it, she was coming with loud noises. She tried to hold it back in but it was inevitable. The pleasure became too much and she came.

As the passion started to ebb away, she felt him undo his belt while he stroked himself. He jacked off more swiftly than she had expected. He was so hard that she felt every thrust of his penis, the tip hitting her skin. She didn't dare move, merely letting him work out the kink from his muscles. He had given her pleasure so it would be inconsiderate of her if she didn't let him in on this one.

He had liked it when he fingered her, watching as his fingers disappeared into her entrance. She had been so wet that the suction of his digits became easier. The throbbing of her clit died down, and she felt very self-conscious. She was exposed and pressed tight against the window while he covered. Luckily, there was nothing to be seen outside. There were just trees and grass outside. Not a single person had been there before so they were safe for now.

He finally groaned his release as his semen spilled out at her thighs. She felt that familiarity of stickiness that had her thinking of him. He had possessed her. Took over her body and played it like an instrument.

"Thank you. I needed that," he whispered before kissing her sweetly.

The gesture had her nodding before they cleaned themselves. They would have to wait for a couple of minutes before she could walk out. Everyone would know that something was up if she just walked right out, looking disheveled with sex hair.

"Here's my schedule." Jayden handed her the slip and she took it, holding it close to her chest as if it was fragile.

"I should get going," she said but made no move to leave. There were still a lot of things unsaid between them, hanging in the air like a massive elephant in the room. But both of them chose to ignore it all.

  Chapter 4

She didn't know what her role was in Jayden's life. Sure, she was his secretary, but anything other than that remained a mystery to her. She hoped he wasn't playing with her feelings as she had gotten way too involved in him. As much as Ariana didn't want him to, she was afraid that he had gotten into her system even when he wasn't around. She missed him when he was out of town.

Just last week, he had to go on a trip overseas that didn't require her presence. Normally, Jayden would tell her where he was heading, but since they had engaged in a relationship that only involved sexual encounters, he no longer told her where he was going. Not that he needed to, really. They weren't involved in a romantic relationship, and she wasn't his girlfriend. She didn't have the privilege to demand answers.

She should have known that things would end up this way. Sighing, she finished up her work before getting up to run the errands she needed for the day. On her way out, she accidentally bumped into a woman.

"Oh my gosh!" Ariana gasped. "I'm so sorry!"

The brunette turned and glared at her, obviously pissed off. "Are you blind or something?"

  "I'm really sorry. I wasn't looking at all. I'm really sorry, ma'am."

The woman ought to accept her apology as she had said sorry several times. But instead of accepting it like a good-hearted person, the brunette merely made her feel even more worse. "Next time you ought to look where you're going. This isn't some park that you can just bump into someone by accident. This is my boyfriend's company, I tell you."

The last part made her freezing on the spot. Did this woman just say her boyfriend's company? She stared at the brunette, finally taking in her looks. Her hair looked like she had a darker shade--probably black. But with the power of dye, it covered the natural strands and was covered by the fake one. Her boobs were massive, probably a double D with the help of plastic surgery. Her lips were also fake, and Ariana could see the small needle prick at the inner part of her top and bottom lip. Her fake looks screamed out that she was one of those women from Hollywood.

"Your boyfriend's company?" she found herself echoing.

The fake brunette lifted her chin up, acting as if she was so sophisticated and rich. She might as well be with all the enhancements she’d had done to her body. "I'm Jayden's girlfriend. Didn't he tell you?"

  Ariana shook her head no.

The brunette smirked. "He always wanted our relationship to be a secret. I used to mind at first, but I thought it was for the better. That way, no press or paparazzi will get in the way of our love life. And who are you and what are you doing here anyway?"

Ariana had trouble speaking as her brain soaked up everything the brunette had said. Jayden had been lying to her all along. He had a girlfriend all this time. He had lied to her and used her and here she was crying her little heart out to him. How stupid could she get?

"I'm Mr. Adams secretary," she said, her voice cracking slightly. "So I was set up to work on this floor."

"Huh," the brunette commented before looking her up and down. "You look like one of those girls who doesn't look like a secretary at all. You're lucky my boyfriend chose to hire you. I guess he really has a good heart."

"I'm sure he does," she muttered sarcastically.

"What did you say?" the woman said, eyes flashing again.

"Nothing," she said shaking her head. "I
just asked what I do actually look like if not a secretary."

  "You want the truth?"

"I've always appreciated the truth over lies."

The brunette smirked. "Well, no offense. But you look like an ordinary girl who I could have mistaken to be a janitor, to be honest."

"No offense is taken," Ariana said even though she found it very insulting. She was hurt, yes. But she tried not to show it by excusing herself to go to the bathroom. She locked herself in one of the stalls and pulled down the lid of the toilet. Burying her face into her hands, she tried to take a deep breath.

That woman was her boss's girlfriend and Jayden didn't have the decency to tell her about the brunette. That just showed how much respect he had for her. To him, she was just an easy lay. Someone who he could fool around with his words and she would come running to him. She was so stupid for thinking he would change.

Well, not anymore! She would not be a fool over this man she thought she could be with. She wanted to prove to him that she could do better without him. So from now on, the only interaction that they would have would be based on work-related stuff. There would be no more romantic, or rather physical, sessions that would happen again. She had had enough and it was time to put a stop to this.

Determined to change her way of life, Ariana knew she had to stop the feelings that were growing in her towards her boss. She should have known that he was nothing but trouble. Jayden was only there to make her fall in love so he could break her heart into pieces. He was just like one of those men she had dated in the past. He was exactly the same, when she thought he could be different. Oh, how wrong she had been.

She stepped out of the stall and washed her hands before she walked out. The woman was still there when she came back. Ariana had been itching to get away from the brunette as soon as she had come. The brunette's head lifted up as she approached.

"Oh, you're back." She said before standing up to adjust the strap of her Gucci bag on her forearm.

"Is there something I can do for you?" Ariana asked.

"Yeah, actually. I'd like to know where Jayden is?"

"I'm afraid I don't have the answer to that, ma'am. Jayden was out on a business trip last week and hasn't been back to the office since."

A look of confusion crossed her face. "I heard he was back already. I just didn't know when to come by. Well, once he drops by make sure to tell him that his girlfriend came by."

Ariana nodded and she watched as the woman walked away, heading into the elevator. At that same moment, the doors slid open and Jayden walked in. It was like a movie scene playing out before her eyes. Their eyes locked together. Her heart pounded against her chest as sparks began to ignite. Just as the chemistry started, she remembered who had just practically harassed her, and she broke eye-contact. She didn't miss the bemused look on his face.

She was about to turn around when she heard the voice of the brunette. She was cooing to him like a baby. And without even turning to see if the woman was wrapped around her boss, Ariana could already tell that she had him captivated in her arms, like a snake.

She decided to go back to her desk and pretend to be busy with something. Somehow, she could feel their gaze on her as Jayden led his girlfriend into his office. The door shut and she looked, hating herself for being jealous. He had never established anything with her so why should she feel this way?

"Hey, you all right?" one of her co-workers said and she looked up. One of her close friends, Ana, had come over to her side with a smile on her face.

"Yeah, I'm all right. What made you ask?" Ariana asked politely.

"You look a little sad since this morning. I never really see you like this. You're always so bubbly and friendly that I'm used to that Ariana." Ana nodded toward Jayden's office. "Is it about that?"

She was mortified that she could be read so easily. Was she that transparent?

"No, not at all." Ariana said, shaking her head with a smile. "I'm just a little tired, that's all. Besides, that's Mr. Adams's girlfriend in there."

"I heard he did have a girlfriend but no one was really sure who it was," Ana commented.

"Well, I guess we know who it is now!" she feigned cheerfulness but it sounded cheesy and pitchy to her ears. So she decided to change the topic. "What time is your break today? Want to go get lunch Ana?"

"I have my break in five minutes. Want to go then?"

  Ariana nodded. "Sure."

  ***

When she got back from her lunch break, Ariana was asked to come to Jayden's office. She had managed to pull herself together while she was out with Ana. They had a long conversation about the most random stuff, and Ariana found herself enjoying it since it. It had been a long time since she had spent time with her friends with the drama she had going on with her boss.

She walked in and found the brunette gone. Ariana was half expecting her to open the door and yell at her face again the way she had earlier. She was the girlfriend of the owner of the company so she had no choice. She bet Jayden would just stand around while his girlfriend belittled her. Well, it was too bad that she had no time for people's bullshit.

"Sit down," Jayden ordered as soon as she saw him.

He was standing by the window again. His posture brought up the memory of that night in his office. It was the first time they had made love then. It had been hot and passionate and without a care in the world. Oh, how she wished to bring back the past and change it from the moment she decided to work overtime that night.

"They said you called for me?" she asked as she took his order and sat.

He pushed away from the window and sauntered over to his desk so that they were facing each other. He had his hands clasped in front of him and he stared at her with intensity, she almost broke under his gaze.

"Why did you let her come in?" he demanded so suddenly she didn't realize what he was talking about for a second.

"You mean the brunette woman?" she echoed.

  Jayden nodded. "That woman, yes."

"She said she's your girlfriend. Besides, I wasn't the one who let her in. The guards did at the first floor. I just happened to have bumped into her and she was looking for you. Where is she anyway?"

"She went home already," he said. "But that's not the point. You know I don't invite ex-girlfriends in here. I thought you knew better, Ariana."

"Ex-girlfriend?" she repeated. "That woman said you two are a couple. So what was I supposed to think anyway?"

He looked pissed, eyes flashing with anger. "She's no longer my girlfriend. We didn't even date for a long time. If I had a girlfriend, you would be the first to know. You're the one who handles my transactions with the women. So you should have known better than to entertain a gold-digger."

She sucked in a breath, unable to believe her ears. "She didn't look like a gold-digger to me."

He was about to say something but he paused. Leaning forward, he studied her face closely. "Are you jealous, Ariana?"

  Chapter 5

"Why should I be jealous?" she asked.

Something flickered in his eyes--understanding, maybe? She would never know and she didn't want to anyway. As far as Jayden was concerned, she no longer wanted to get involved with him. Not when he had lied to her after she found out he was still with another woman.

"Can I go Jayden?" she said, impatient.

"No," he said just as stubbornly. "I want to know why you are acting so pissed off, Ariana."

"You really have to ask me?" she said, exasperated.

"Why would I be asking if I knew the answer?" he shot back.

"I can't believe this," she whispered before shaking her head.

He leaned over her, intimidating her as his tall frame crowded over her. She remained on her feet, never backing away from the big bully in front of her. Ariana was confident he would never hurt her. Not physically, anyway. But she had to admit that having him so close to her brought a mixed of fear and desire, gripping her tightly with its fists.

  "Answer me
honestly, Ariana. Were you jealous when you saw Aileen?"

Ariana knew immediately that Aileen was the brunette that came looking for Jayden. She thought about lying, but decided to be honest with him. "I was jealous, I admit it, Jayden. Now what's your excuse for looking the other way when you were obviously going out with her?"

An invisible curtain fell over his eyes. He looked reserved, unapproachable for a second. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Oh, please," she said, mocking. "Don't pretend you don't know what I’m talking about."

"I'm afraid I don't have any idea," he insisted.
