To Anne, Moni, Cookie, and Madge, the other members of the Fab Five of Falls Church (VA). High school friends who are simply the best. Thanks for giving me an excuse to push away from the computer on occasion and enjoy your company.

And to the members of my Literati and Farmington Book Clubs who have been patient about my prolonged absence. There is something ironic about not being able to read the book club selection because you are writing a book.
