A few days later, Lana made her way to the appointment with Gerald Waye and Michael Lundy. Since it would be their first meeting and the deciding factor of who she would finalize as head architect, they were holding it at Gerald’s office. She was immediately led into his office upon arrival where Michael was already waiting. He stood up and gave a very charming smile, hand outstretched, as her greeted her. “It’s lovely to meet you, Lana.” He motioned for her to take the seat adjacent to his and said, “I’ve spoken to Gerald in great detail about your project. I took the liberty of sketching out some drafts for you to take a look. I figured it would give you a better idea of what to expect from me.”

Lana could not deny she was already impressed. Everything about him measured up and set expectations that were quite high. She already had high expectations for the project to begin with. After going through the list of questions she had prepared and receiving satisfactory answers, she smiled and said, “Well, Gerald, you were absolutely right. I should have never even had a shadow of a doubt. Michael is exceptional and I am really looking forward to working with him.

Over the next couple of weeks, Lana set up multiple appointments with Michael to finalize plans and begin construction. All meetings took place at her office since that would be the space to be renovated. “You’ve got an amazing space here,” Michael had told her on the very first day. She could tell he really meant every word of it since his eyes were alight with excitement and ideas. He had even taken the liberty of adding or changing things and creating multiple drafts. She was extremely pleased with all his ideas and his work ethic.

“I never thought I would be having so much difficulty with the project because I would have too many amazing choices.” He chuckled and took a sip of the tea she had given him. They were expecting Gerald to drop by for a check-in. He had mentioned he liked to do this just to make sure everything was running smoothly. He also liked to keep track of how projects were going, especially those he had specifically assigned to someone. About twenty minutes after Michael had arrived, Gerald wandered into the office.

“Hello!” He was bright and cheery. This caused both Lana and Michael to beam at him. “How’s it going?”

“Wonderful,” Lana replied. “Michael here is everything I could have ever hoped for. I’m completely confident this project will surpass even my expectations upon completion.”

“That’s what I like to hear!”

  “Would you like some tea?”

Gerald nodded and took the seat next to Michael’s, leaning over the table to peer at the plans strewn about. He made some random humming noises of approval as he sifted through the plans. When Lana handed him the cup of tea, he sat back and looked at the two of them with a smile on his face. He looked content, almost proud. “This was a great match,” he said. He drained the cup of tea quickly before standing up and saying, “I have a couple more meetings I need to get to. It was nice seeing you.” He reached across the table and shook Lana’s hand before heading out.

It was the final meeting day before construction officially began. Everyone had been vacated and it was only Lana and Michael in the office. They walked around every room and inspecting every corner to make sure everything was in order. She truly liked how meticulous he was and how seriously he took his work. They worked well together and were very comfortable, some might say a bit too comfortable. There was a definite flirtatious undertone in the way they spoke to each other. Lana was unsure if this was intentional on his end or if he was simply the kind of person whose friendliness came off in that way. It was nearly dinnertime and, feeling bad for taking up so much of his day, Lana offered to order in. He agreed and the two were soon enjoying a quiet meal in the break room.

They had spent so much of the day talking they were both pretty much done with it, at least for a while. Once they finished eating, Michael took it upon himself to clean up. As he did, they started talking about more personal things like where they grew up and if they studied what they were passionate about. “I’m very lucky,” he told her as he leaned against the counter, “Not many people find their passion so early in life. Even fewer people successfully pursue it. I’m aware of how great and rare it is to make a living off something you truly love.”

“Well, you definitely have a gift for it and the work ethic to back it. I’m not surprised at all.”

“Thanks,” he told her. He gave her a smile unlike any other she had seen before. It was earnest and appreciative. It softened his face in a way she found very sweet. She let out sigh, knowing it would be unwise to develop feelings for her architect. Dating was tricky enough as it was. He tilted his head and looked at her with mild concern. Her thoughts must have been written all over her face and the audible sigh certainly did not help.

She was saved from having to address this by the buzzing of his phone. He looked at and held up his finger. “Hey Gerald,” he said. “No, we’re still here. We actually just had dinner.” He nodded and pressed his hand to the microphone. He leaned forward and asked, “Gerald wants to know if he can drop by?” Lana nodded. “Sure, we’ll be waiting. Alright.” He shut his phone and placed it on the counter. “He wants to check all the finalized plans right before we start tomorrow. He has a checklist.”

Lana smiled and said, “I really appreciate that.”

“Well, is there anything else you want to go over while he gets here?”

Lana shook her head and replied, “We’ve gone over more than I even thought existed.” The two of them laughed and Lana absentmindedly took a step forward, placing her hand on Michael’s forearm. His skin was warm. She looked up at him and jerked her hand back. “I’m s-“

“Don’t worry about it,” he replied in a husky voice. Her breath caught in her throat. She was not sure if she was imagining it but it seemed like the tension had jumped up a lot in the room. She could have also sworn she heard him gulp nervously. Maybe he is into me after all, she thought. She looked into Michael’s green eyes trying to figure out what he was thinking which was, of course, quite impossible. Her eyes darted up to his blond hair and wandered down his face, a nice white skin tone that was not too pale, and down over his broad shoulders and fit body. There was no denying he was an extremely attractive man, made only more so by his gift and skill.

She cleared her throat and wondered what to do or say. This was the first time she felt awkward with him and the only things she could think of doing next would have been classified as highly inappropriate. Right at that moment, she heard footsteps coming up the hall and turned to see Gerald walking into the break room. He had taken off his blazer and tie. She briefly wondered if there was some rule at his firm about hiring only good-looking white men, causing her to giggle. The two men looked at her in confusion.

“Sorry,” she said in embarrassment, “I was just remembering something. Anyway, shall we get started?” She was glad for Gerald’s arrival because now everything could get back to normal and everyone could focus on the project at hand. They went through his checklist rather quickly given how in-depth Lana and Michael had covered everything throughout the day. She walked around the office space with Gerald, pointing everything out to him and explaining what she was most excited about in great detail. Once he was satisfied, he initialed the contract plan and made to leave.

“I’ll walk you out,” she told him. She heard Michael gathering everything behind her as she walked out with Gerald. She had no idea what happened but from the walk between the break room to the main entrance of the office, she noticed Gerald looking at her in a suggestive way. She came to realize that, from his height, he had an excellent view of her ample cleavage. She was wearing a soft pink shirt so this highlighted her boobs, making a striking and alluring contrast with her dark, smooth skin. Once the reached the door, Gerald cleared his throat and looked away from her chest. “It’s been a real pleasure,” he told her. “I might drop by from time to time or send an email just to check in.” She nodded and was taken aback when he leaned forward and gav
e her a hug.

  “I’m sorry, I hope that wasn’t-“

  “It’s okay. I just wasn’t expecting it.”

Gerald smiled and made to walk away but stopped in his tracks. He turned back to her and looked directly into her eyes, making her feel somewhat nervous. His eyes seemed to have darkened with what she could only chalk up to lust. She swallowed, wondering what he was planning on doing. “I..” his voice trailed off as he walked forward and pulled her into a kiss. At first, she simply stood there dumbstruck as she felt his lips on her own. But after a few seconds, she sunk into it. She felt him lick her lower lip and she opened her mouth so he could deepen the kiss. He grabbed her hips and pulled her body closer until she was pressed against him, able to feel the hard bulge in his pants against her leg. Just as she was getting completely lost in the moment, she heard footsteps. They were followed by a “What the hell?”

She quickly sprang back from the kiss and turned to see Michael standing there, with a look between surprise and jealousy. He does want me, she concluded. She walked forward to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. “Michael,” was all she could say as she looked deep into his green eyes. She took it as a good sign that he was not pulling away from her. She leaned up and pressed her lips softly against his, waiting to see his reaction. He dropped everything he had been holding and grabbed her waist a bit roughly, pulling her body plush against this and kissing her deeply.

His arms wandered around her back and along her sides as she insistently pressed her body more and more into his. He turned her around and swept her hair over her shoulder, kissing the nape of her neck as his hand fell on the zipper of her dress. He unzipped her slowly, enjoying every new inch of dark flesh exposed to him. The dress fell off her body and she stepped out of it, revealing her to be wearing only a pair of white panties. She walked toward Gerald, who had only been staring at them this entire time, and kissed him while she undid his pants. “We should take this inside,” she whispered seductively as she led them into her personal office. The two men marveled at her extremely smooth skin and its gorgeous, dark skin tone. Her full breasts were plush and bounced with each of her steps and her shapely ass swayed along as well.

As soon as they were in her office, Michael walked up to her and ran his hand down her back from her shoulder until he was cupping her shapely ass. He gave a squeeze to it before running his hands over to her hips, up her sides, and cupping each of her boobs. He rubbed them slowly, feeling her nipples harden under the palm of his hand. She made a quiet “mmm” noise as she leaned her head back and let it fall on his shoulder. Meanwhile, Gerald had stepped in front of her and was kissing down her stomach until he got on his knees in and removed her panties with his teeth. He licked up her calf and inner thigh until he was swiping the tip of his tongue along her slit. He slid in his whole tongue and moved it inside of her as he massaged her clit between two fingers. This caused her to moan loudly, head still leaning back against Michael.

The two men picked her up and placed her on the couch, where she immediately spread her legs. Michael wasted no time in rubbing the head of his cock up and down her slit before sliding his entire length inside her. She arched her back and moaned, enjoying the sensation of it. She reached out and stroked Gerald’s cock up and down vigorously, occasionally reaching down to cup his balls. It was not long before he was thrusting his hips and groaning, his cum spilling all over her hand. She brought her hand to her mouth and licked it clean, never breaking eye contact with him. This seemed to set Michael off because his hip movements were suddenly very jerky and less than a minute later, he shot his cum inside her. He slid out of her but inserted two fingers while his thumb massaged her clit, helping bring her to orgasm as well.

“I’m so glad we all work so well together,” Lana said. “I’m really looking forward to this project more than ever.”

Getting to Know the Best Friend

Getting to Know the Best Friend is an exciting new short story that will get your heart racing with its own take on a classic fantasy! Getting to Know the Best Friend tells the story from Brian’s point of view, a successful young white man who is hosting his best friend of fifteen years at his house. Jacob, a fun and playful white man, is looking forward to spending time with his best friend and seeing his new house. He is also looking forward to meeting Sasha, Brian’s black girlfriend who he cares very much about. The best friend and girlfriend hit it off right away, much to the relief of all three. They all have a great time together and it ends up leading to a sexy, fun time none of them ever expected to happen.

I grabbed my keys and jingled them in my hand the entire way to my car. I was excited to be heading to the airport to pick up my best friend, Jacob. We had known each other for fifteen years but lived on the opposite end of the country from one another for the past five. In fact, we had not seen each other for nearly three years. The first time that hit me something else dawned on me as well. Though he knew about Sasha and they had even had conversations online, they had never actually met. She was an extremely important part of my life but had only been a part of it for about two years. She was excited but nervous to meet Jacob. After all, this was the guy I spoke quite fondly of and someone who I considered to be much more than just a best friend. What really helped prevent her from freaking out completely was the fact they had already talked quite a bit online and got along well.

“It’s different once you actually meet a person,” she began to tell me last night as I slipped into bed. She had come over to help finish fixing up the guest bedroom and I asked her to just spend the night. “I mean, it’s a relief we get along so well online. Don’t get me wrong. I’m really glad for that. But what if that just doesn’t translate once we actually meet? He’s just so impo-“

I closed my mouth around hers, forcing her to stop talking and sink into the kiss. For a split second I was not sure if that would actually work because she sort of just froze in place. But I guess she was just processing what I had done or was taking time to decide how to react. Either way, she went along with the kiss much to my pleasure. It was a slow and tender kiss, one I meant to calm and reassure her. After a couple minutes, she broke away to look into my eyes. “Thanks,” she said in almost a whisper.

“Don’t worry about it so much,” I reassured her, “He I really looking forward to finally meeting you.” I gave her a peck on the cheek and rolled over to turn off the light. I felt her snuggle up against my back before we both drifted off to sleep.

These were the thoughts running through my mind as I pulled out of my driveway and followed the streets that would lead me to the airport. Given it was rush hour in the city, I had decided it would actually be much faster to simply travel along the side streets. Once the airport came into sight, it really hit me how excited I was to see my best friend and have him meet my girlfriend.

Fifteen minutes later, I was pulling into the first open spot I could find along the lane for pickup. There was Jacob, standing tall with a wide grin fixed on his face, looking almost exactly as I remembered him. The only things that had changed were the style in which he dressed and how much more confident he seemed. Thought I had gathered the growth in confidence over the years from our conversations there was nothing quite like seeing it radiating from him. I walked up to him and beamed, placing a hand on his suitcase.

“Well, well. Miracle to actually see you ‘round these parts,” I told him in a tone one might use when star-struck.

He laughed and shoved my shoulder before pulling me into a one-armed hug. “It’s been too long,” he said earnestly. He then shoved his suitcase into me and walked toward my car chuckling. A few minutes later we were on the road to my house. It struck me that was yet another new thing for him on this visit.

  “Remember my old apartment?”

“Yeah. Please tell me your new place is as nice as that.”

I laughed because I knew he was being sarcastic. My old apartment had been a
dingy, overrun hole in the wall place that I was probably paying way too much monthly rent for. But I was more foolish about that kind of stuff at that point in life. Plus, the need to be more frugal had not yet hit.

“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves,” I replied, “Very few places are of that caliber.”

He laughed again. He was looking out the window to take in all the sights with great interest. Though I had not moved out of the state, my current house was on the northern end of it. He had never left the southern area of the state when we were growing up so this was a new place to him. It occurred to me this trip could be much more eventful for him than I had anticipated. Everything was so normal to me I simply did not stop think how it might be different or new for him.

We pulled into my driveway and I saw his eyebrows knit together as he took in the sight of the entire house. “You’re messing with me,” he deadpanned.

“I’m really not, this is where I live.” I turned off the engine and stepped out of the car, turning to see him still in his seat and almost gaping at the house. I looked at it and still had the same opinion that it was not all that impressive. Though I suppose it was from his point of view given it was his first time seeing it and he still had the image of my old apartment burned into his mind. I walked around to the passenger’s side and opened his door.

“I didn’t expect something so nice,” he said as he pushed himself off the car seat and straightened up.

“What? Were you expecting me to live in a dump forever?”

“No. That’s not what I meant,” he said, “I just didn’t expect this.”

“Well, thanks. I guess I don’t really notice since I’m so used to it by now.” I walked around to the trunk and pulled out his suitcase. He motioned to grab it but I just waved him away, continuing to pull it up the walkway until I was standing at my front door. I reached into my pockets and fished around for my keys. As soon as I opened the door, the delicious smell of breakfast hit my nose.
