She sighs. "Four months ago, I had a two-month-old who was only slightly more demanding than his father, honey. I was also still dealing with my postpartum issues. I couldn't even think about having another one--not then. Until recently, I'll be honest, I worried another baby would mean Nix wouldn't get enough of me."
"And now?"
"Now, I know I was just being foolish with my worry. You, Thorn ... you give me everything I've ever dreamed of. I couldn't ever lack the love to give when you fill me full of it every single day."
I shift us, my hand going into her hair and resting against her head. I pull her tighter against my body and hold her gaze, searching her eyes and finding the love she gives me right where it always is.
"Just wanted to bring it to the table, baby. I wasn't asking you to get pregnant that day."
A tiny smirk makes her relaxed face go even softer. Her hands, resting against my chest, glide up and down slowly. "You would have been happy to, though, wouldn't you?"
"I love you, Ari. You bringing Nix into this world was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. Every time I look in his face, I see pieces of us both. Humbles me to my knees every day that I get you, and we made that. Nothing would make me happier than to fill this house with more children."
"Not even doing that as my husband and not my fiance?"
"Only thing in this fucking world that would be sweeter, Ari."
"I have to ask, if you want another baby so bad, why not just bring it up again?"
"I knew you weren't ready then, and I think we both know why I might have been apprehensive."
She nods, a little sadness moving into her eyes at me bringing up the past.
"But taking my pills, Thorn?"
"Told you, knew you saw me. Not my finest move, but it was all I could think of to make you come to me and talk about it."
"How long were you planning on taking my packs?"
"Wait for you forever, baby. You know that."
This time, bringing up the past doesn't make her sad. She laughs softly, the sound going straight to my gut. Her whole face gets bright as she smiles.
"Lucky for you, you'll just have to wait another seven or so months."
My head jerks back, and I study her face. That smile still there, tears that I know aren't because she's sad filling her eyes.
"Babe," I breathe.
She licks her lips and her brow furrows, adorable as fuck. "I don't know that, babe."
"Not the time to be cute, Ari."
"You could have stopped taking my pills after the first month, honey, because I stopped taking them after the first time you did."
"Ari," I exhale, my heart pounding--my chest feeling too fucking small.
She leans forward, presses her lips against my mouth, and kisses me quick. Not once do we close our eyes. She leans back and presses her forehead against mine.
"I had my first appointment a week ago. I had almost convinced myself you got me pregnant the very day I tossed those pills away, but it was most likely about two weeks."
"You're pregnant?"
"I am."
"God, Ari."
"I love you, Daddy," she says, giving me a wink.
My cock swells, and I roll her to her back, sliding in slowly.
"I fucking love you, baby."
The whole time I take her, slow and steady, we never look away. I keep the pace, never deviating. When I feel her start to ripple against my cock, I know I won't be able to hold off--even when I just came as hard as I did before this. Not knowing the woman I love with everything I have is giving me another child.
She gasps, her pussy pulling me deep as it continues to constrict, and she comes with a soft cry of my name on her lips. Her watery eyes shining bright with love. I push in, my cock twitching, and groan low before taking her lips in a deep kiss.
I pull back, the whole fucking world under my roof right now, and give her the grin that I know always gets me what I want.
"Tomorrow, we're in front of fucking Elvis. My son in my arms, my baby in your belly, and you're going to be my wife. Not waiting another fucking day to make you mine--forever."
"Cocky." She laughs on a sigh.
"You love it."
"I do, honey. I do."
The REAL end ;)
