A horn honking from the main road as a car drove past jerked her out of the moment. She pulled back, and Cole reluctantly lifted his head. They were both panting, and she could feel his heart was pounding as hard and as fast as hers. It was thrilling, knowing she aroused him as intensely as he did her.
“There’s your kiss. You can give me my keys, now,” she said smartly, smiling against his lips.
He levered back a bit and grinned down at her, those sexy dimples flashing. “Ah, but that’s payment from a previous debt,” he said
Her smile broadened at his words. “A previous debt, huh? I should probably pay the interest on that.”
He brushed his nose against hers. “You should. We need to negotiate the term. I’m thinking at least forty years,” he said, and she laughed.
“That’s long term.”
He nodded as he lowered his lips. “And I’m going to enjoy collecting,” he said, and then kissed her again.
She had to admit, he was right. Their kiss was amazing.
