Copper Mountain

Cut your hands and rip your clothes

Bruise your arms and bust your nose

  Mystery keeps the enthusiasm strong

Attempting to climb it would be wrong

  Local youth have intense desire

Passengers have a view to admire

On those lovely spring and summer days

Teens wanting to climb, can't stay away

Chorus: What is spoken around the fountain?

Don't go messing around Copper Mountain

It is a force to be reckoned with

That is a true fact, no myth

  Sitting there behind the school

Kids think they know what is cool

Parents preach it to their children

Of who, what and why and even When

Chorus: What is spoken around the fountain?

Don't go messing around Copper Mountain

It is a force to be reckoned with

That is a true fact, no myth

  The Decade Kid

They say her logic makes no sense

It is no wonder that she is confused

  Has anyone thought about explaining

  Questions from a puzzled face

You can't blame her for being lost

It is a strange wondrous world

Maybe in time she will figure it out

But, will you be there to see it

  Out from nowhere she moves

Surprising people with a trick or two

Moving along to today all alone

Caught in that dimension she lives in

Within four more years we will be

The ones filled with the mystery

Of the one who has moved on

And who will lead us all
