“That wasn’t a no,” Jeremy says with a wink.
“How about this for a ‘no?’ I’d rather die.”
"I was just joking anyway," Jeremy mutters, but something flashes in his eyes before they flick away from hers.
Wes clears his throat. "All right, now that everyone is here to help with the rest of the decorations, Daisy can't say no to a nap." He picks me up like I'm as light as I was seven months ago. "Come on, doll. It's time to rest."
"Poppy," April says, "while we're decorating, tell us the story of how Wes and Daisy almost broke up."
"Yeah, Poppy," Ned says, "tell us the story."
They love hearing about the misunderstanding that almost tore us apart. They think it's hilarious, and I can't argue. I was able to laugh at it once it was behind us.
Last Halloween, me and Poppy and Pamela having no idea Jeremy had a twin was like one last cruel joke from the universe before it gave me my happy ending.
"Are those Honeychocs?" he asks, licking his lips as he carries me to an empty guest room.
I nod and pop one in my mouth. "April and Ned brought them. Thank God, because I'm in one of those horny and hungry moods today."
"Say no more." He gently lays me on a bed, his eyes going dark with lust. "Daddy's gonna give you what you need."
"But what about the candy?" I ask, popping another in my mouth.
"Fuck the candy."
He takes the bag and sets it aside before he uses his legs to spread mine apart.
"Oh, Daddy," I moan, gripping his arms and pressing my face against his shoulder as he enters me. "Your big cock is so hard."
"And you have to take every inch of it," he orders with a growl.
"Mmm. You know I love that growly voice."
I'm in love with everything about him—his voice, his cock. His heart, and sweetness. Candy might have brought him to me, but this love is what keeps us together, and it only grows stronger with every passing day.
