Love and Leprechauns touches on an issue close to my heart: parenting a child on the autistic spectrum. I wrote the first draft in 2010, the year my son was diagnosed. I soon realized that I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to do justice to the Luca storyline because I was living the raw reality of the diagnosis.
