"I didn't mind cleaning, but thank you." Giving my thigh a gentle squeeze, his hand inched higher, causing me to sigh. He was teasing me, flirting around my aching clit.
"You're welcome. I see you're already using your surprise. What did you want to do tomorrow?"
My mind was focused on the casual movements his hand makes. Logan noticed my delay and stopped his caress. "Um—I haven't been riding in a long time." Although I wouldn't mind riding Logan, I didn't mean that in a perverted way. My horse was enjoying the good life at my parents house. I'd love to move her over to Logan's barn, but I was not sure if my mom will require a blood sacrifice, or make me promise to have tulle on my wedding dress.
Slipping two fingers inside of me, he brought my focus back to the task at hand.
"You got it, baby. I love you." His fingers continued their assault finally honing in on my pussy. His deft fingers swiftly stoked the fire inside me. With his free hand he reached over tweaking my nipple, the added sensation sends me over the edge. Moaning loudly as I exploded, the waves of pleasure subside. My whole body is relaxed. Orgasms: the perfect sleep aid.
"Love you, too," I murmured, sinking further into the tub.
"Don't fall asleep in the tub, baby." With a smile on his face Logan left.

Once I'm settled into Logan's, Annie and I will start dress shopping. I couldn't wait to marry Logan, but planning a wedding on top of running a business was something I was dreading. But designing my very own outrageous(just because I could) wedding cake, made me about as giddy as a schoolgirl at a One Direction concert.
Nathan talked me into letting my mom help with the planning. He claims he'll run interference. I have my doubts. More than doubts.
Things were not okay between my mom and I. She never apologized, and Nathan begged me to give her another chance. I caved for Nathan. Although, I had an uneasy feeling about including her. I'd let things run its course.
Logan offered to pay for our wedding, but I said no. He can afford it. He's what people would call land rich, but he wasn't cash poor. His parents also had a hefty life insurance policy in place when they passed. It also didn't hurt that the drunk drivers' insurance also settled out of court.
Bottom-line, I didn't want that money used on our wedding. I'd rather elope, save the money for our kids. College, 4-H, soccer camp, whatever.
My parents hadn't paid for my education. The only way my mom would open her checkbook was if she approved of every last minute detail. Sure, I'd love a nice wedding, but I didn't want to shove elegance and sophistication down everyone's throat.
My mom would always love throwing money around. It was part of her keeping up appearances, the fake veneer of her bland personality.
I couldn't change her, but I could go with the flow. I had the man I love by my side. Our future was a bright ray of sunshine ahead of us. That was all I could ask for.
Epilogue
October Wedding
I couldn't believe my wedding day was finally here. I let my mom have way too much power over me regarding wedding plans. She almost drove me insane, with her bickering, nagging, and general need to control every detail. She manipulated me by saying she'd only pay for stuff she approved of, and weddings can be quite costly. Logan and I decided to host the wedding and reception at Logan's house, well, our house.
Nathan had been buddy-buddy with his co-worker, Mackenzie. Those two had gone out of their way to provide a buffer for me. And I loved them both for it. I liked Mackenzie even though she's experiencing her own family drama. It made the drama with my mom seem petty and childish. She's met our mom, and didn’t take Cindy's shit. It's refreshing, mostly entertaining but a little scary. I knew if our mom kept interfering, Nathan could wind up getting hurt. Mackenzie wouldn't purposefully hurt Nathan, at least that's the vibe I got from her, but she wouldn’t stand for being treated like shit on the bottom of someone's shoe either. And that was where Nathan could get hurt. If they didn’t find that balance and space, and I knew Nathan didn't want to have to choose between our mom and Mackenzie, and I prayed he didn't have to.
Mackenzie's helped keep guard, if my mom got out of hand, she and Annie (along with Randy) had a plan to escort her out. Of course, Annie's my maid of honor. Nathan was serving as Logan's best man. Randy and Kevin were also standing with him. Jenna and Courtney were standing on my side as bridesmaids. By the time Mackenzie came into the picture, we already had our dresses sorted, so I asked her to man the guest book.
Annie and Mackenzie planned my bachelorette party in Las Vegas. Logan had something I would call similar to a fit, so we turned it into a combined party, and we all jetted to Vegas. Sensing something would go wrong with our planned wedding in Montana, we went ahead and eloped while in Vegas. You know just in case my mother did something crazy stupid, we were covered.
There weren't enough words to describe how amazing Vegas was. Phenomenal, exciting, fake Elvis in a wedding chapel, bottomless drinks leading to the worst hangover I'd ever experienced. And it was all awesome. If I had the chance I would go back tomorrow.
The music started snapping me out of my daze. My bridesmaids slowly marched gracefully down the aisle in peachy colored dresses with matching mini calla lily bouquets. The girls looked fantastic. I insisted they pick whatever style they wanted as long as the colors matched. I felt beautiful in my strapless wedding gown. It had a corset back with a sweetheart neckline that I love, with a ruched bodice. I added a splash of color with a satin peach beaded sash. And my bouquet. Thanks to Mackenzie, my bouquet was beautiful and huge.
As my dad walked me down the aisle with a smile plastered on, he whispered, "Glad you're happy sweetie."
"Thanks, Dad." I ignored my mom who'd plastered a fake smile across her face. She's really pissed because she couldn't control everything about the wedding.
As soon as Logan's eyes locked onto mine, I forgot about my mom. I forgot about being nervous about tripping in front of a room full of people. My lungs froze. As soon as my hand was in his I relaxed, and the ceremony began.
Logan and I kept the sunset ceremony short and sweet. Within fifteen minutes the ceremony was over, and thirty minutes of pictures followed. After that we were ready to party.
There were tents set up with outdoor heaters. Candle light set the mood for the reception. Logan and I enjoyed our first dance upon entering the reception. Line dancing and two stepping lasted most of the night, except when the bouquet and garter were tossed. It was a great party, mostly laid back, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
The reception attendance started sizzling down around ten, and we watched Nathan and Mackenzie stumble towards the guest house at eleven thirty. Logan shut the door behind them, and locked it. Yes, we finally learned that lesson. The house was a wreck, but we had a crew coming in to clean tomorrow. Normally the dirty dishes and trash would have drove me crazy, but my only priority right now was Logan.
After securing all the doors, he returned to me.
"Well, Mrs. Adams, I finally have you to myself." I giggled as he swiftly swept me up in his arms and carried me over the "threshold", really the door to our bedroom. Such a small gesture with a big meaning, but it made me a little nervous and giddy.
Through sickness and health, the good, bad, and ugly, this was the start of our life. And, I couldn't wait!
