Dino's Little Wolf Page 9

Feeling languid, Martin pressed his cheek to the wood, contented. Dino collapsed against his back, stayed there for a few minutes to recover before kissing the nape of his neck and standing. Martin closed his eyes. He could die happy. Of course, waking up to every day of this was something he could get used to as well. There was only one more thing missing. Martin offered Dino the side of his neck. Dino’s eyes widened, understanding what Martin was offering. His mate had been considerate, only agreeing to give the mating mark when Martin ready.

“Are you sure?” Dino asked, looking sober.

  “Absolutely.”

At his reply, Dino pulled him into an intimate embrace and brushed a hand over his neck. Martin shuddered. Dino opened his mouth, unsheathed his fangs and bit down. Martin could sense their wolves, soul bonding, and truly becoming one. The pain was brief, and worth it.

When Dino pulled away, he looked concerned.

  “How are you feeling?”

  “Good. Happy.”

Dino didn’t look reassured and led him by the hand to the bathroom.

“Sit down,” Dino instructed after lowering the toilet sit.

  Martin sat.

Dino took a first-aid kit under the sink. Since his dominant mate was so insistent, Martin let Dino fuss over him. Once Dino disinfected the wound, Dino gave him a kiss on the bridge of his nose.

“Come on, baby. Let’s take a shower and snuggle in bed,” Dino suggested.

Martin let his mate haul him to his feet. “Sounds like a plan, although,” Martin paused, looking deep in thought. “I think we seriously need to replace that table.”

Dino let out a chuckle. “You planned this, didn’t you?”

Martin hid a smile. “Still up for round two in the shower, baby?”

“Can’t say no to that,” Dino said, leading him by the hand under the spray.
