His Obsession,
Her Submission
My first memory of Daniel Stoddard was on the first day of school during my junior year at high school. Of course, everyone called him Danny back then. Danny had just moved to town, and was starting a new school. He was such a short, skinny boy, we all assumed he was a freshman. He wasn’t; he was a junior.
Mrs. Ackley, the assistant principle asked me to show him around school that first day. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him, as he had one of the worse cases of acne I’d ever seen. I rather expected him to act all shy and awkward, yet he just stared at me with those deep blue eyes of his, as if he was studying me. It was a bit unsettling. He said very little to me that day, but appeared to be listening to every word I spoke.
He didn’t go out for sports and pretty much kept to himself. I wouldn’t really call him a nerd, because he didn’t hang out with the nerdy crowd; he simply kept to himself. It was no secret he was smart. He took all the advanced courses offered by our school, and I heard he was enrolled in a few college courses.
One thing I remember about Danny back then, is that he always seemed to be watching me. I was a cheerleader, and ran with the popular crowd. Unlike all those teen movies about mean girls, at our small school we didn’t really have a nasty group of kids. Therefore, when I caught Danny staring at me, I would simply give him a smile and say hello.
I really can’t recall anyone going out of his or her way to torment less popular kids. I suppose it might have happened, and I didn’t see it. Teasing fellow students really was not something I did in high school.
Other than that first day of school, when I showed Danny around campus, we never really spoke the rest of the year, other than the times when I said hello, after catching him staring at me. When I did say hello, he never looked away, nor did he say hello back to me.
During my senior year, I hired Danny to tutor me in geometry. I was struggling in the class, and my teacher suggested I get outside help. Danny was his idea, not mine. For several weeks, Danny came to my house each day after school, where we would spend an hour alone at my parent’s kitchen table. It was the only time during high school that Danny and I spent any time alone together.
Instead of behaving like a shy, awkward, geeky guy, Danny seemed much older, in spite of the fact he hadn’t grown since I’d first met him, and he still looked like a skinny freshman. Looking back, he was rather bossy during those tutoring sessions, and the one word that fits his general attitude – dominate. I suppose I should have remembered that, when I met Danny again, years later.
While I never found Danny physically attractive back then, he did have amazing blue eyes. They were deep blue, piercing, as if they held some secret to the universe. I know that sounds a little melodramatic, but his eyes always unsettled me. They were a stark contrast from the rest of his physical package back then.
After high school graduation, I didn’t see Danny again until our ten-year high school reunion. However, I heard some interesting things about him. A couple years after graduation, one of my friends ran into Danny at a concert. She said she didn’t recognize him at first, because he’d had a significant growth spurt after graduation. According to her, he was well over six feet, tall and lanky. I kept imagining he must look like Ichabod Crane with acne.
A couple years before our ten-year reunion, Danny made it big with some dot-com company. I heard he developed some software, website or some such techie thing that made him ridiculously rich. I tried Googling him, to see what he looked like, but I couldn’t find a single image of him online. For being such a techie guy, he obviously kept a low public profile.
I will confess, I was surprised when I heard he was going to our high school reunion, after all, he really didn’t have any friends back in high school. If it had been some other nerd that made it big, I might understand why he would show up – to let everyone see how well he’d done. Yet, I always got the feeling Danny could care less about what anyone at the school thought of him. When he tutored me, I always got the impression he felt he was better than the rest of the student body – even me.
After graduating from college, I never moved back to my hometown, although I would visit my parents about once or twice a year. A few years before the ten-year high school reunion, my parents sold their house and moved to Florida, settling into a nice retirement center. There was no reason to visit my hometown, until the reunion.
I was excited to see all my old high school friends. While I hadn’t seen most of them for a number of years, I hooked up with many of my old classmates on Facebook, and was looking forward to the reunion. It seemed everyone but me was now married, divorced or in some long-term relationship. Whenever I logged into my Facebook account, there was another baby picture posted by some former classmate. Everyone seemed to be having kids.
I had never been married and when the reunion rolled around, I hadn’t been in a serious relationship for a number of years. As a professional photographer, I spent my time traveling and working on my craft.
Since my parents no longer lived in town, I reserved a room at the hotel where they were holding the reunion. It was just a little past two in the afternoon when I checked into the hotel. I couldn’t help but wonder which of my classmates were also staying there.
It was June, which meant warm and humid weather. I was grateful for the hotel air conditioning, and the first order of business was taking a shower; it had been a long hot drive.
When I arrived at the hotel room, I was a little surprised to find a bucket of ice and a bottle of water, chilling on the ice. I’d never been to a hotel where they filled the ice bucket for the guests. The complimentary bottled water I understood, the ice surprised me.
I was thirsty after the long, hot drive, and quickly downed the bottled water before hitting the shower. In the middle of washing my hair, I started feeling drowsy. It was an effort to rinse out all the shampoo. I stumbled like a drunken sailor out of the shower and made my way to the hotel bed.
The room seemed to spin as I fell onto the mattress, nude and disoriented. I closed my eyes, and could feel the cool air on my damp skin, it felt good.
I heard what sounded like a door opening, and footsteps entering the room. I tried to open my eyes, but they felt as if they were glued shut. I instinctively knew I was not alone. I wanted to scream or shout out, yet it was as if I was paralyzed.
“You are still wet, you’ll catch a cold.” I heard a male voice whisper. My heart began to race, yet I could not move; I could not open my eyes. I felt him move closer, and the mattress dipped, as if he was joining me. Then I felt it, a soft towel, gently moving over my skin, drying me. He lifted my limbs, to better position them for the drying, and then rolled me over, to dry my back. Whoever he was, he was gentle, and seemed to take great care drying my skin.
Although I could not open my eyes, or move, my heart raced and I wondered if he could hear its loud beating. He rolled me over again, so that I was on my back.
“I have waited a long time for this, Kristy.” I heard him whisper when he finished drying me. Instead of a terrycloth towel, I felt his fingertips touch my breasts, tracing the mounds, exploring my body.
“Never fear, Kristy. I won’t take you yet. I want you awake and lucid when I make you mine.” The way he spoke, I got the feeling he believed I was completely unconscious, and could not hear his words.
“Before any acquisition, I always inspect the merchandise. You are even better than I remembered.” He whispered
his words, yet I heard them clearly, despite my paralyzed state. His hand moved from my breasts, down my belly and then settled on the brown patch of curls between my thighs. I felt him tug the curls playfully.
“By your untended garden, I suspect it has been a while since you’ve been with a man, which confirms what the investigator told me about you. We will get rid of this. I plan to keep you smooth and silky.”
He gave the curls another little tug, and then I felt him get up from the bed, and pull the bedspread over my nude body, before kissing my forehead. A few seconds later, I heard a door close. I knew I was alone again.
Although I tried to force my eyes open, I was actually getting sleepier. Eventually, I fell into a deep, deep slumber.
When I finally woke up it was almost 5 pm. I had been sleeping for almost two hours. Sitting up in the bed, I rubbed my eyes and looked around the room. It had to have been a dream; I told myself.
If I didn’t hurry, I would be late. According to the reunion invitation, they would begin serving cocktails at 5:30. My hair was a frazzled mess, since I fell asleep with damp hair. Fortunately, my hairdryer and curling iron helped me quickly tame my unruly locks.
I don’t wear much makeup, so it didn’t take me long to apply a bit of eyeliner, mascara, blush and some lip-gloss. Since it was so warm, I decided to wear my new white lace camisole set under my dress, instead of a binding bra. Made from a Hawaiian print, my dress was floor length and hugged my curves. Hastily, I slipped on my sandals after dressing, grabbed my room key and purse, and headed out the door.
It was a little past six when I arrived at the banquet room. When I walked through the double doors, I was greeted by three of my classmates, who sat at a table handing out nametags. Looking past the table, I cursed myself for being late, because it was already crowded, and I wasn’t sure where I was going to sit.
“Kristy Collins, good lord girl, you look just like you did in high school!” One of the women at the table exclaimed, as she handed me a nametag. I didn’t recognize her at first, and quickly glanced at her nametag. It was Cindy Parker, and I guessed she was a good fifty pounds heavier than when we were in school. I smiled at Cindy, accepted the nametag, and said hello to her and the other two women at the table, both of whom I immediately recognized.
“Oh my gawd, you will never believe who is here,” Susan Harper, who sat to the right of Cindy told me, as I stood by the table and glanced around the room, trying to find someone I knew in the crowd.
“Danny Stoddard!” Cindy answered the question. “Of course, he told us he goes by Daniel now.”
I shrugged and asked, “Why is that such a surprise?”
“Because you haven’t seen him yet,” Alice Stevens, the third person sitting at the table told me.
“What do you mean?” I already knew he was super-mega-rich, and wasn’t sure what they meant.
“Look over by the bar; see that tall guy, in the grey jacket with his back to us?” Alice said, pointing toward the bar. I glanced at the bar and saw a tall man, surrounded by six or seven of my female classmates. Even from the distance, I could tell the women were each vying for his attention. I wondered what he had to do with Danny.
“What about him?” I asked.
“That is Danny Stoddard,” Cindy explained. All four of us continued to stare at the man’s back.
“Wow, he did get tall, looks like he filled out,” I commented, noticing his broad shoulders, and I couldn’t help but wonder if the acne severely scarred his skin. At that very moment he turned, and looked directly into my eyes. It was as if he knew I was standing there, twenty feet away, watching him. I felt like I was in high school again, with those deep blue eyes boring into my soul.
When I was in high school, I would have simply smiled and said hello, but I couldn’t smile. Something about his intent stare was gripping. He didn’t smile either, but started walking toward me, leaving those poor fawning women in his wake, looking after him as they pitifully searched for some way to call him back.
As he approached, I could see the acne left some scars, yet on him they added character and gave him a more rugged and masculine look, something he never had in high school. I was quite stunned at the fact he grew up to be such a handsome man. His looks were by no means classic, nor was he a pretty boy. But there was something incredibly sexy about him, which totally surprised me. Never in my entire life could I have imagined I would describe Danny Stoddard as sexy.
He wore an expensive three-piece-suit, which looked custom tailored. Danny looked very natural in the suit, as if he were accustomed to dressing up for social events. I stood, frozen to the spot, speechless, and watched as Daniel Stoddard walked directly to me, never once diverting his gaze from my eyes.
“Kristy,” he greeted me, in an oddly familiar masculine voice. I found myself smiling up at Danny, and watched as he took my right hand in his, and effortlessly guided me away, as if I were waiting for him. The three women at the table sat speechless, and watched as Danny Stoddard led me into the banquet room.
“Where are you taking me?” I suddenly asked, finally coming to my senses.
“To our table,” Danny answered, and then he tucked my hand under his bent elbow, making us look more like a couple, walking arm in arm.
“Our table?” I asked, slightly amused.
“You are sitting with me,” he explained.
“I am?” I asked, still willing to play along. He had my attention, and my curiosity.
“Yes, neither of us came here with a date, so I thought we’d sit together.” He then paused, looked at me and then asked in a quiet but forceful voice, “Any objections?”
I found myself nodding, no, and got the impression he was not a man used to being denied his wishes. It was an odd paradox, and I couldn’t quite wrap my head around the fact this was Danny Stoddard, the same geeky boy I showed around campus on the first day of our junior year in high school. There was something very charismatic and sexual about him. If it wasn’t for his distinctive blue eyes, I would think my old high school friends were pulling some practical joke on me with a Danny imposter.
“You can put your purse on the chair, if you don’t want to carry it. I assume you aren’t ready to sit down, but would like to mingle a bit first. I’m sure it will be okay.” Danny told me, showing me the chair where he expected me to sit. While no one was currently at the table, it was obvious the other seats were taken, due to the arrangement of the glasses and the fact other purses were hanging on the various chair backs.
I set my purse on the empty chair and then turned around to face Danny, who was standing so close to me, my breasts rubbed up against his chest.
“You certainly have changed, Danny,” I whispered, looking into his piercing blue eyes.
“You haven’t,” he replied, his voice barely a whisper. To my surprise, he wrapped one arm around my waist and pulled me even closer, so that we were a breath apart. I could feel the evidence of his arousal pressing against my belly. I swallowed nervously and could practically feel my panties getting wet.
“What do you think you are doing?” I asked with a whisper, yet did not pull away.
“Staking my claim, Kristy, and making my intentions very clear.”
“And what are your intentions?” I asked in a hoarse whisper. I couldn’t believe how his close proximity made my heart beat faster. Instead of wondering what my classmates were thinking of this intimate spectacle, I felt as if Danny and I were the only ones in the room.
“I intend to fuck you after we leave this boring reunion,” he whispered, his breath on my lips.
“Wow, that sounds romantic,” I said dryly, trying to pull away. His crudely blunt comment was offensive, yet I couldn’t deny his words made me feel both naughty and sexy. What I felt was similar to the time I watched a graphic pornographic movie, and tried to look away, yet found myself drawn into the scene and imagined I was the actress in the film. Danny refused to let me go, but pulled me tighter to him.
“Wha
t I have planned for you tonight is not about romance. I plan to use you roughly and thoroughly. I don’t intend to woe you, I intend to own you. When I am finished with you tonight, you will know your place is in my bed.”
Once again, I tried to pull away without causing a scene. His grip tightened and he whispered into my right ear. “Your body was designed to give pleasure.”
“Not designed for pleasure?” I hissed, keeping my voice low. I found his behavior outrageous and his obvious attempt at seduction, bizarre.
“You will learn to derive pleasure from what pleases me. But, you’ll first learn to please me; my needs will always come first. You might as well learn that now.”
I looked at him, like he were insane, and opened my mouth to tell him he had become a major ass, when he seized the opportunity and claimed my lips with his. The kiss was demanding, outrageous, and as bold as his words. While I should have bit his tongue or pushed him away with a quick knee to his crotch, he drew me in to a dark sensual place, and everything around me disappeared. I had never been kissed like that before, as if he was consuming me, claiming my soul and drawing me into his will.
When he finally pulled away I was dazed, and he smiled smugly and maneuvered me easily into the chair he chose, after first moving my purse from its seat.
I sat there speechless, as if he had drugged me or had a hypnotic power. I looked around and watched as fellow classmates and their spouses took seats at the table. Instead of mingling, as he initially suggested, I spent the next two hours at the table, with Daniel Stoddard at my side, behaving as if we were a couple. It was then that I could no longer think of him as Danny, but as Daniel.
He was actually quite charming, when it was no longer just the two of us. After about fifteen minutes, I began to think he was just messing with me, and the sex talk was some sort of perverse joke. The other people at the table seemed extremely impressed with Daniel Stoddard, and it was obvious they knew he was now very successful and very rich.
“How long have you and Kristy been together?” Someone at the table asked.
