Eytin lightly kissed her head urging her to continue. He wanted to hear more about her life and how loved she was.
Taking a deep breath Aspin continued…“I was certainly aware of physical differences between myself and my family,” I just never found them all that important, so beyond the juvenile musings or curiosities about where some of my physical attributes came from, I wasn’t very interested in my birth parents. This had nothing to do with feelings of anger or resentment it was really quite the opposite. I had been blessed with such loving and supportive parents, and big brothers whom I loved “most of the time… there's was bound to be a blowup here and there,” but I hit the proverbial jackpot of families.
I never felt abandoned or felt as if I had missed out on something. I felt secure, loved, supported, and very simply, I felt like part of my family. In the scope of that mentality, there just wasn't anything else out there that I ever registered as needing or wanting.
One afternoon, just after my seventeenth birthday and graduation from high school, I was stunned to hear that my parents had kept in contact with birth mother all my life. My mom came home and asked me if we could talk, because she had something she wanted to discuss with me. Now, "Talks" usually centered around a topic I'd rather not participate in. It had me wondering what the hell I’d done now. Had I dropped the ball on something? Did I get caught in a lie? Had I upset someone in my family? What did she want to talk to me about?
I spent the next twenty minutes sweating it out trying to come up with an answer. When I sat down in my Mom's office, she seemed nervous, which really freaked me out. What had I done? And then she told me. She told me that my birth mother wanted to get in touch with me.
I was speechless. Never in my wildest imagination would I have pictured this conversation happening. So I sat there, mute, while my Mom very calmly told me that this decision was completely up to me. That she and my Dad would support whatever choice I made and would facilitate any contact that I was comfortable with.
Then the absolute horror hit me. Here was my mom, so poised, so strong, so selfless asking me what she could do to help me connect with my birth mother. She is my mother; she is all I've ever needed, wanted. She had always been my mother! In my head I screamed “NO, no I don't want to do anything with this information.” I don't want to meet anyone. It was from my gut, from every part of who I was, I just knew I didn't want anything to be different.
My mom had remained so calm, and asked me to think about it and really digest the information, to really take some time with it. She didn't want me to have any regrets. That conversation took place almost ten years ago, and to this day, I am still in awe of her grace. Ultimately, my gut reaction turned out to be right. I thought about it. I really did. I figured if my mother could put so much out there and make herself vulnerable to facilitating an interaction that must have felt so scary for her, the least I could do is honestly weigh my options.
Nothing changed for me though. Even with time and reflection, I didn't need, or want that moment. My mom ended up putting the information away and left it up to me if I wanted to do anything with it.
That was it. I moved on, moved out, went to college and graduated top of my class, and opened up my own dental practice. I also went on a few dates, “Which none of them worked out as you can see” oh and I bought my first house… then I met you.
Damn… you summed up your life in all of five minutes Eytin chuckled.
Well… you asked she somberly smiled looking up at him.
So you… you really don’t want to know who your real parents are Eytin asked?
Sitting up a little, she dropped her smile. I want to know someday, just not right now. I don’t want to know the real reason why they gave me up. I think that will hurt me the most but I’m grateful that they gave me to a couple that loved me despite the fact that I didn’t come from them. Touching his lips with her fingers she said, “I know deep down family is important to you Eytin,” I can see it in your eyes. It’s important to me as well, just in a different way.
I understand how you feel sweetheart Eytin said, as he rolled over on top of her. “Families are messy and sometimes the best we can do is to remind each other that we're related for better or for worse...and try to keep the maiming and killing to a minimum Eytin chuckled trying to lighten the mood. When everything goes to shit, the people who stand by you without flinching… now that’s family.” That's what people do who love you they put their arms around you like this and love you even when you’re being an ass.
“Now ain’t that the truth Aspin smiled.”
Yes, indeed it is sweetheart but unfortunately, we all have some family members that are so psychotic that no matter how hard you try to forge a healthy relationship, nothing will help. “No one fights dirtier or more brutally than blood; and only family knows it’s own weaknesses, the exact placement of the heart to twist that blade in even deeper. The tragedy is… is that we can still live with the force of hatred and feel infuriated that once your born to another, that kinship lasts through life and death and let me tell you sweetheart, “No body's family is normal. Normalcy is a lie just… look at all the fucked up shit in this world that makes the rest of us feel inferior.” Eytin rolled over and looked up at the ceiling.
Aspin reached over, turned Eytin’s face back towards hers, and said, “Some days we get what we want, and on others, we get what we need.” We can’t erase the past, but sometimes life can offer you the opportunity to make it right.” Change is hard at the beginning, messiest in the middle and best at the end. She leaned in and kissed his lips wanting to hold him and protect him at the same time from whatever danger that could possibly be headed there way.
Yaz
Yaz looked at the clock Alton had been gone over three hours now. “What the hell is he doing she thought to herself?” Shaking her head, she glanced down at her phone saw that she had a missed call. Darn it…her daddy had called her back. She had called him after she and Alton had showered this morning but he hadn’t answered. She still couldn’t believe that her father actually lied to her. He had known all along that Alton was here. She picked up the phone and dialed her father’s number wanting some answers. His cell phone rang a few times before he finally picked up.
“Hey baby girl how’s your vacation going?”
“Hmm… why don’t you tell me daddy.” I’m sure you already know how I’m doing seeing as you’re a decorated skilled Ex-Special Ops bad ass who pointed me in the direction of where the man I’ve loved for over eight years has been living all this time. Would you like to explain that to me daddy?
You know me all too well.
Yes, I do daddy you taught me well. Now tell me.
Alright calm down baby girl. Yes I pointed you in the direction of where Alton lived with the hopes of you running into him. I’m tired of seeing you hurting. You and that boy belong together and it’s high time the both of you get on with your lives and give me and you mother some grand babies. We aren’t getting any younger…call me selfish but we’d like to see and hear the pitter patter of little feet running around here one day. I had to make a call.
Daddy I’m serious I want answers from you… please.
Ebin blew out a deep breath through the phone then said, “Okay all jokes aside baby girl,” My dream for you was not this. I wanted you to be happy and to do all the things you wanted to do…to become. Now for the most part you have and I am so proud of you for finishing high school and college with honors but I wanted to see you date, get engaged and get married and eventually have children. My job as your father is to protect you, to love you, to hold you when you need me, to encourage you to try harder, to bless you, and treat you like the treasure that you are.
When you first brought that boy home I knew it was something special about him because you’d never brought a boy home before. Alton and I spoke over the phone a few times after he’d left, he only wanted what was best for you baby girl.
Yaz’s breath caught in
her throat. Why didn’t you tell me? You knew I wanted to know if he was safe.
He didn’t want me to tell you Yaz. We both wanted you safe and it just wasn’t a good time for him. He was in a bad place in his head and he needed to find himself. He’d been involved in some things that would have gotten you hurt and I would have ended up killing everyone involved if that had of happened. I’ve kept tabs on Alton for a very long time through a mutual friend I went through basic training with and he agreed that it was time for the both you to be together as well.
That was not yours or whomever this friend of your is choice to make daddy. It was mine. Alton left me not you or your friend! Tears began to trickle from her eyes. This was all too much. She’d loved Alton for so long that she hadn’t even tried to love any other man. You know if Alton’s dad has his way we will never be together daddy. That man hates me and all blacks for that matter. You should have never sent me here.
Don’t be too sure of that baby girl. Things aren’t always as they seem and good things come to those who wait and you’ve waited long enough. Just trust me on this… okay? Everything will work out you’ll see. Back up is on the way. I just need you and your girls to stay put and we’ll handle the rest. Now I’ve got some things to get done I’ll see you soon. I love you baby girl.
Whipping the tears from her eyes Yaz said, “I’m still mad at you daddy but I love you too… always. Oh, and before I forget Aspin’s here.
Ebin jumped up out of his seat at the mention of his brother’s daughter. How the hell did she get there and what involvement does she have in this? and why the fuck didn’t his “Friend” tell him about it he wondered!
She came with Alton’s friend Eytin. I was shocked to see her too daddy, but she’s in the thick of this mess now as well.
Damn! I didn’t want to have to pull my brother in on this. Aspin’s ass has some explaining to do. Her dad is going to go bat shit once he finds out what’s going on with her and God help whomever that boy is she’s with.
Well in Aspin’s defense daddy, she tried to call him just like I tried to call you earlier. She left him a message for him to call her back.
They’re gone to the casino in Tupelo. When Abe finds out what’s going on he’s going to blow some his lid. Abe is worse than I am when it comes to his family. I’ll tell you this baby girl the brotherhood has messed with the wrong family.
Oh, please daddy you and uncle Abe are just the same when it comes to family.
You might be right about that one baby girl. Look just try and relax and don’t let your cousin out of your sight! I’ll be there soon and we will all sit down and work out a plan. There was no way in hell he would tell his daughter what the brotherhood was planning was to do to her and Alton, He didn’t want her to be any more upset than she already was. His daughter could handle her own that he made sure of but she wouldn’t be able to stop a bullet if the brotherhood decided to get down and dirty and by the looks of things the shit had already hit the fan with the mention of Aspin being there.
That I do know daddy…I’ll see you when you get here. As she hung up, she sat down on the bed and allowed her tears to fall freely once again. Her father was ex-military. A veteran who’d served his country well and came home to his family. He once served his country and had almost lost his life, but that didn’t keep him from always wanting to protect his family as well as anyone else who needed help and it helped her understand his willingness to protect his family and the man that she loves at all cost. He had a strong sense of duty and she believed him when he said that back up would be on way. The brotherhood wouldn’t stand a chance. She just hoped that when this was all over that maybe… just maybe she and Alton could finally be together instead of torn apart for forever. She laid back on the pillow praying nothing had happened to Alton.
As Ebin hung up the phone he looked over at his collection of gun in his gun cabinet, he had came out of the Army and took a low-paying job working at the VA hospital until he’d saved up enough money to finally give his wife the house and children she wanted. They had always wanted babies. It had been years since he’d become a cadet in the Army with prospects of becoming an officer. He and his brother Abe rose to the occasion and during his early years managed to cram a 4-year degree in business management into three years to gain his bachelor’s degree.
In the meantime, he’d advanced to become a sergeant in weaponry and was then drafted into the Special Forces along with his brother with little known about their unit. There he underwent more training and soon as he graduated with his degree, he virtually disappeared from sight. His wife had been so worried about him during that time. Occasionally he returned on leave and was always vague about where he’d been operating from and about the activities he was involved in. He would dismiss inquiries about activities with the words, “It’s hush-hush and sure you’ll understand.” He’d held the rank of a Special Forces “Badass” second-lieutenant when he retired. He opened his gun cabinet and pulled out his old faithful HK-MP5, his M1014 Shotgun and Sig Sauer P239. Then he picked up his cell phone and sent one message to all of his boys including his brother then he kissed his wife and told her that he and the boys were going hunting.
Erica & Channing
After Yaz filled them in, in detail on what was happening they all went back inside for a drink and a few played a few card games with Channing and Gabe. The men turned out to be great hosts and kept them laughing and entertained. After a while, they all disbursed to their own rooms to relax for a while. Erica shed her clothing and stood there enjoying the floor to ceiling view, sunlight hit her smooth skin, as she ran a hand over her heavy breasts. She looked at herself in the mirror, it was no secret that she struggled to maintain her curvaceous form. She’d fought hard to get to the size she was now which was a healthy size twelve. Hell her family consisted of very big happy women who carried themselves well and looked fabulous in their clothes.
She was pleased with her shape, her belly could be flatter but she didn’t mind the small little roundness her tummy had and her now “Ex-boyfriend,” could kick rocks! He had dogged her out so much about her weight that she had went on a strict diet thinking that would make him happy. He’d met her when she was a size eighteen and had seemed alright with it, but as two years turned into three he couldn’t stand touching her anymore. Once she’d lost the weight he’d became a bigger ass than he was before because she’d the weight and he’d gained some weight. Then he became jealous and controlling and that’s when she decided it was time for her to get the hell away from him before they both ended up on the news.
Erica crept outside in all her naked glory and powered up the hot tub. She couldn’t believe her newly discovered bravado, but she embraced it and marveled at the freedom it provided. She placed a foot on the edge of the tub’s platform and leaned over to test the heat of the bubbling water.
“Perfect,” she slid in, and as her muscles went limp a smile crept to lips as she thought about the sexy man next right door to her, “Wait…ugh… stop it she chided herself. Shaking her head, she glanced at the beauty that surrounded her and sunk deeper into the bubbling heated water. As she came up the water trickled between breast and it felt so good. She slid down further into the relaxing tub, allowing her hand to roam the mound of her pussy.
Her fingers opened her moistened lips and she sighed as she played with her slick clit. She rubbed the sensitive nub until it throbbed and the need to climax sizzled deeply throughout her body. She pinched her nipple as she stroked her clit rapidly in circles, her breath hitched and she bit her lip to keep from moaning aloud as her orgasm rocketed through her. She continued rubbing clit until it was too sensitive to touch, Ahh… she sighed and leaned back against the tub.
She needed that after seeing Channing’s fine ass. His thick muscles and that magnificent ass of his, my God the things she could do to that man after a year of no sex had her mind going, “Coo-Coo for cocoa puffs!” Every time her eyes roamed away from his ass, they found anoth
er part of him that made her pussy pulse and tingle. His body was long and his thighs looked like they could deliver some powerful as stokes. She wondered what it would be like to have as his cock thrusting in and out of her slick, tight pussy. Shit! She closed her eyes, continued her fantasy inside her head, and allowed the warm water sooth away the rest of the tension raging inside her body.
For once, Channing was glad that he’d followed his instincts. With his jeans slung low on his hips, he approached the window to his bedroom and what he saw amazed, and rocked him. He watched as Erica removed her clothes. Fuck! She was striking. Did she not realize that although the cabin was private, she could still be seen from his window? He should have turned away but fuck it, he would watch as long as she remained visible. “What the hell, woman?” his voice was laced with arousal. “She was ass naked stepping into the hot tub,” “What the hell are you up to woman?” He whispered to her as if she was standing there with him in his room.
