The audience fell silent.
“Your Lord Subjugator wishes to speak!”
The hulking albino raised his muscular arms heavenward and said in his clunky robotic voice, “Hear me! You can not understand me. You are not expected to. You are not capable of it. I am beyond your experience. I am beyond good and evil. I am the Lord Subjugator!”
An unbridled euphoria overpowered the gathering and quickly turned into riotous mass hysteria.
The sound of rejoicing and weeping flooded the stands, groups of people began having orgies while others beat one another to a bloody pulp. Amid the salty, writhing sea of sweaty bodies and the coppery odor of spilled blood, in the midst of all the commotion and the chaos, the Lord Subjugator raised his hands toward the sky and closed his eyes, allowing himself to bask in every ounce of the frenzied energy that washed over him.
At long last, he had gained his rightful place as the Earthlander’s one and only king. Never again would he be known as John Henry Cavil. John Henry Cavil was the lie that had been purified. Now he was only The Lord Subjugator.
