“It’s a song about Miami! It keeps saying, ‘I’m in Miami, Trick!’”

I do a little head-bop and dance on the beach chair, singing along to the song.

“That’s great!” he says. And then he says some letters. “L-M-F-A-O!”

I give him a blank look, not sure what he means. I know there are some computer abbreviations for “laughing out loud” that he must be referring to, but I don’t know what the extra letters might mean.

“They were the ultimate party music band,” he says, shaking his head at my blank stare. “They did ‘Party Rock’ and ‘Sexy and I Know It’?”

“Oh, okay!” I say, nodding at him, but he knows me too well, and knows that I still don’t know what he’s talking about. I was only allowed to listen to gospel hymns until recently. I didn’t know there was a band whose name consists only of letters.

“Check them out sometime,” he says. “So, what are you listening to on Spotify? A Miami mix?”

“No, it’s a Spring Break mix!” I respond, and he pulls me up from my lounge chair and into the sand. “Otherwise it wouldn’t be as coincidental. Here, listen.”

I put one side of my wireless headphones up to his ear, and he leans in close, half-dancing to the music. He’s so close to me that I just want him to kiss me.

“Nice,” he says, after a few seconds. “You need to find a Miami mix! There’d be mad Pitbull. And then they’d have to play Welcome to Miami…”

He spins me around in a circle on the sand and sings a song welcoming me to Miami in both Spanish and English.

We’re having fun, dancing in the sand, when a few of Brett’s friends approach us. He’s in a fraternity and it seems that where one of the guys is, the other guys are too— all the time. Even in my tipsy state, I recognize them as Drew, Ainsley and Mark, not only because we all came on this trip together, but also because I have a couple classes with them.

“Well, well, well,” Drew says. “I didn’t know Mormon girls could drink.”

“I’m not Mormon,” I mutter under my breath, but he’s looking me up and down, as if it’s not a bad thing, so I just go with it.

“Sorry,” he says back. “I really thought you were Mormon. I didn’t mean any offense, though. I was thinking you’re the hottest Mormon— or whatever you are— that I’ve ever seen.”

I blush, and look at his brown eyes under his mop of dark brown, curly hair. He’s cute, and he’s flirting with me. I can feel the liquor coursing through my veins and I want to be brave and fun.

“I’ve never seen such a sexy body covered up by such a full bathing suit,” Ainsley says. “Let’s see what’s underneath that’s worth having kept hidden for so long. We can even pay you for it.”

“Hell yeah,” says another guy, reaching into a wallet in his swim trunks and taking out some bills. “Everyone else in the frat went to see some skanky hos at some Miami strip joint. This would be much more of a surprise, and certainly worth paying for.”

I eye the bills— it looks like a stack of twenties— and think about how I could get a real haircut and some of my own clothes with that money. But amazingly enough, I don’t even care about the money so much as the thought of just going wild.

I want to do something crazy while I’m in Florida on Spring Break, where no one other than Brett and his frat buddies even know me. I think it’s about time to let my inner freak flag fly. The one I’m just discovering I have.

I'm a good girl gone bad. Four times as bad.

It's Spring Break, and I've decided I'm ready to go wild.

My strict, religious upbringing means I haven't experienced a lot of fun.

Or much of anything. I'm a virgin, to say the least.

During college I meet rich, hot Brett, who becomes my best friend.

He takes me to Miami with his frat brothers for my first Spring Break.

When I first hear about the auction, it sounds crazy.

  Billionaires bidding on women's innocence.

But Brett and his friends want to be the highest bidder for mine.

  All of them, together.

I just know I have to do it.

  Then I'll belong to them.

And they want to spend Spring Break having their way with me.

Maybe I should be nervous, but I can't wait to let them.

But will our hearts become just as entangled as our bodies?
