Maturation of the Marked Page 8

by March McCarron

Ko-Jin’s eyes flickered shut, his body rocking with the ship. Being at sea always brought his step-father to mind. “I’m sorry,” he mouthed silently.

I’ll do better. In the future, I’ll do better.

  The End

  Afterword

Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to read my work. I hope you enjoyed this story and learning more about Ko-Jin. I originally set out to write a short story, but he wasn’t satisfied with that length, and it ended up being twice as long as I expected. He’s a pushy one, that Ko-Jin.

If you have a minute, I’d be incredibly grateful if you’d pop over to your ebook retailer of choice and leave me a review. I love to hear feedback, and reviews help me sell more books.

If you haven’t read the rest of the Marked Series yet, you can start with the first book, Division of the Marked, or continue with the second, Elevation of the Marked. If you’re all caught up, be sure to join my mailing list (if you haven’t yet), to be notified when the next book in the series in available.
