“Thank you,” she said. “I promise to be out of your hair come tomorrow.”
It sounded resolute and unbending coming out of her mouth. When Xander just winked and strolled out of the room, she somehow felt as though the words had rolled right over him.
What the hell had she just gotten herself into?

By the time you read Driving Tempo, you’re a certified Void groupie. Congratulations! Thank you, fans, for your continued interest in this series.
I’ll admit it took me a while to plan the next band romance after I finished Unsteady Rhythm. The central romance in Driving Tempo is between two quiet characters who aren’t used to being in the spotlight. As a result, I had to allow their voices to be heard over all of the others. (Yes, I’m a writer and I hear voices.) In the end, their romance ended up being one of the most memorable I’ve ever written. I hope you enjoy reading their story as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Special thanks, as always, go out to my incredible cheerleader and alpha reader, Debbie Prins, and my amazing team of beta readers, Diane Kaye, Savanah Lappin, Marilyn Almodovar, and Bethany Lopez. You all bring such wonderfully different insights to each project. Your input is invaluable!
And thank you to my husband, Kevin, and daughter, Faith. Thank you both for your patience during my writing time and for bringing light into my life. I love you both more than words can say!
