  Love or power, that’s what it nearly always comes down to. In this case, it was money and information. Enough of either makes a person or group powerful. The powerful tend to think they have to exert that power, consequences be damned. What is that makes the rich and powerful do what they do? Maybe it’s better to be poor.

  Bullshit. Who the hell am I kidding?

  If I manage to keep myself free of basking in the artificial sunlight of a penitentiary, I’ll be back to waiting for the sound of a tinkling bell and clients that can only manage a hundred credits a day.

  I really am in the wrong racket.
