Jan Edwards was nominated for the British Fantasy Award for Best Short Story in 2011 and 2012, and has won the Winchester Writers’ Festival “Slim Volume” Prize. She has a BA (Hons) English Literature, and has more than thirty short stories published in various anthologies and magazines, most inspired by her passion for folklore and mythology. Other work includes scriptwriting for TV spin-offs, reviews, interviews, poetry and articles. Over the past twenty years and more she has been involved with the British Fantasy Society, in various ways, and has chaired its annual conference, FantasyCon. She lives in the Staffordshire Moorlands, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, with her husband Peter Coleborn, three cats and a selection of chickens.
