“Wait a minute,” she said, twisting on the cushion for a better position to look at Jeff. “It’s not that I don’t want to be a wifelike woman with you. I just don’t think I need a piece of paper to prove my love and feelings to the world.”

“So it’s not the title that bothers you, just the formalization of your relationship.”

“I like our relationships just as they are. I don’t have anything to prove to outsiders. Besides, I’d be hypocritical to get married when I still want to fuck you both.”

“And here I thought she was going to say something about waiting until gay and lesbian couples could marry.” Jeff laughed at her. “You just want the best of all worlds. You want to be the matriarch of Hudson House but you want to keep us both as your play things.”

“I don’t see a problem with that.” She drained the wine in her glass. “Besides, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, as the old saying goes. We all know when the time comes to start a family, the children will be Jeff’s. No issues there. So why should I give up the best men I know for an institution that fails more than fifty percent of the time?”

“Don’t look at me,” Mason said, putting his glass aside. “It’s up to Jeff.”

“We’ve decided to get a dog first, remember? We’ll work out our parenting skills on a pet before we attempt to do it on a live child.” Jeff smiled and laughed. “We’re researchers at heart, aren’t we? We’d be foolish to go into something so important as parenting before getting some practice.”

“I like dogs,” Mason said, “but you can’t crate a kid when it gets annoying!”

“That’s when we’ll hand them to Uncle Mason and run away for a few hours.” Alice laughed at both of them.

“I think we should just keep the status quo. I always assumed I was supposed to get married. But since we have an arranged agreement between the three of us, I don’t care about the marriage part so much anymore.” Jeff glanced to Alice and smiled. “If we change our minds down the line, we can always make it legal. In the interim, we’ll have the lawyers draw up papers to protect the three of us and any kids we might have one day. That will keep me satisfied.” Mason decided Jeff looked as calm as he had just before Naomi showed up. The tenseness around him had dissipated.

“Did you really think we’d wind up together?” Alice stared at Mason. “You’re okay with this?”

“For as long as you’ll have me.”

“I plan to keep you around, buddy. Not only for business reasons, but to help me keep Alice satisfied. And I can’t think of a better man to be an influence on my kids. You’ll be the closest thing to a real uncle they’ll ever know. I want them to have your influence and insight in their lives.”

“As long as when the time comes, we keep the lab locked.”

“Agreed,” Mason said. “Anybody want more wine?”

“In all fairness and full disclosure,” Alice said, “I have to tell you both something. Something I did without talking to either of you.”

  “I trust you,” Mason said.

“What are you talking about?” Jeff asked, his tone suddenly filled with angst.

“A while back you mentioned getting a dog. I did some looking around and, well, our dogs are on the way.”

  “Dogs?” Mason asked.

“Yes. They’re a mother and her two male pups. They were in a shelter since last summer’s storm. The mom is about two, and the vet figures the two pups are about nine months. They’re housebroken, I’ve been promised by the shelter center.”

“Where are they?” Jeff asked, looking perplexed.

“Before you ask, I’ve spoken with Marilyn, Cook, and Finn. None of them are averse to having a pet or two. We decided it would be best to get them before Christmas. Too much commotion that day. This way, they’ll be accustomed to us, the house, and the land.”

  “Why take all three?”

“I couldn’t separate the mom from her pups. She’s part Lab and part hound dog. The pups look like they have some shepherd mixed in. And they’re not here until this weekend, because I wanted them to all be neutered before we brought them home. One look at their big brown eyes and you’ll be lost like I was.”

  “You’ve seen them?” Jeff asked.

“Yes, I arranged with the shelter to have them sent up here. And there was the delay in them checking out my credit background because I’d frozen all our information. Can you believe you can have a child at any time, but to adopt a dog, you need a credit check?” She smiled at both men. “I get it. They want to know it’s not an impulse adoption and that you’ll be able to afford to keep them.”

“So we’re getting three dogs this weekend?” Mason said, more to himself than the others.

“Yes. I saw them the beginning of the week. I left a worn T-shirt from each of us so they’ll get used to our scents. They’ll understand we’re in charge.”

“Alice, from the day I met you, I’ve never really been in charge.” Jeff laughed aloud. “I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, just a fact. I’ll look forward to meeting our new surrogate children.”

“Did you name them?” Mason asked.

“No. That’s something we should all do together as we learn their personalities.”

“I guess we’ll take the weekend off and play with the dogs,” Jeff said, reaching his hand behind Alice’s neck. “I’m glad you took charge. I’d keep talking about it but never find time to get to the shelter.” He hesitated and smiled. “I’m already thinking of the mother as the alpha. That would be a good name for her, Alpha. Just like Alice is our alpha.”

“Whatever you need me to do to train them, I’m in,” Mason said, “as long as they stay away from my computer cords.”

“Anyone interested in a fresh glass of wine?” Jeff asked, a huge smile on his face.

“I know what I want, but it isn’t more wine right now.” She glanced to each man. “What I want is to suck you both until you’re ready to come and then have you shoot on my tits and lick them clean of your mixed cum.” She pushed forward on the sofa, stood and shimmied out of her dress, letting it fall to the floor. Then she dropped to her knees and waited. “Jeff, I can feel your cum dripping down the backs of my thighs. I like it,” she said with a smile. “Cock here now,” she teased, using her index finger to summon both men.

Mason stripped his clothing off in seconds and approached Alice. She reached to his cock and stroked him while Jeff undressed. He took a quick trip to the bathroom to wash up. When he was finally naked and standing beside Mason, she smiled up at them. “This is what I want. This is what will make me happy. Two amazing men to suck and fuck with.” She lowered her head and licked each man’s cockhead. “Along with a little work thrown in,” she said just before talking alternating licks of their cocks.

“So does it matter what happened at lunch to spur this situation to light?” Mason groaned as Alice took his erection deeper between her lips.

“She took her bra off after lunch at the restaurant.” It was a flat statement from Jeff.

“Jealousy rearing it head?” he inquired.

“Something like that,” Jeff admitted, widening his stance as Alice fondled his sack.

“Nothing like a fight to clear the air,” Mason said, smiling at Jeff. “So you’re not jealous of me. Is it because I’m bisexual?”

“No, it’s because I’ve come to trust you, personally and professionally.”

“Could you two talk about this later? Your conversation is intruding on my cocksucking.” Alice laughed, grasped them both by the root, and pulled them closer. “The only conversation I want to hear right now is which one of you is going to fuck my pussy and which one is going to fuck my ass.”

“I thought we were supposed to come on your tits and suck you clean.” Jeff nudged Mason.

“That, too,” she said, smiling up at both of them.

Mason knew the future would always be uncertain in some ways, but for now he was comfortable with their situation. And knowing that Alice an
d Jeff had finally worked out their differences and were planning a future together, he figured he had a long time before he had to worry about changes.

He’d enjoy being the cool uncle who the kids could relate to. He’d become a fixture in their lives without having to dole out punishments. He hoped he’d be the one they’d come to with the questions they weren’t comfortable asking their parents. All in all, he saw the future of the Hudson House Three growing and prospering, both personally and businesswise. How lucky could one man be?

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Louisa became hooked on paperback romance novels as a teen. Before cable TV arrived, babysitting after school was boring. She chose a Harlequin novel and never looked back.

As an adult, she took writing seminars and classes to craft her own skills. She kept journals and notebooks filled with story ideas and bits of dialogue, along with settings and observations.

Finally, retired from her full-time job, she ventured to put her notes in order. The end result was Claudia’s Men, her first romance novel with a twist.

She realized her writing stepped beyond normal boundaries and became erotica. Exploring these new directions has been enlightening in many ways. The author looks forward to researching her next ménage novel.
