When the comedians were done, Gary Gold brought all six onstage. One by one, he asked the people in the Joke House to clap for their favorite.
Lots of people clapped for Aunt Molly. But more people clapped for Uncle Sid. He won the silver plate and the chance to appear on television.
“That’s okay,” Aunt Molly said. “Thanks to Cam, I’ll be on television anyway. And this time, I’ll practice so I won’t be all mixed up.”
“No, don’t do that,” Mr. Jansen told his sister. “Mixed up is funny. You’re funny.”
Cam said, “You’re my very funny aunt even without practicing.”
“And you’re my very best friend,” Eric told Cam, “my very amazing best friend.”
