On language, I should note that some in the netroots believe the term “Wingnut” should apply exclusively to the far right. “Moonbat” is the preferred label for folks on the far left in this worldview. But this distinction seems to split the difference along partisan lines, where I generally and genuinely believe that the far right and far left can be equally insane and so deserve the same word to describe them. No discrimination here.
