His cock was lined up with her entrance, and with a gentle thrust he was inside her. They both moaned as he filled her pussy balls deep.

“You are so wet, sugar,” Ron growled while starting to plunge fast and hard, bottoming out before pulling back, and driving his cock in again.

He needed to slow down. The chance of him coming before her was as good as a snowball’s chance in hell.

  Not.

  Happening.

He sat back on his knees and began to rub her hard clit in circles with his thumb while he rolled his hips into her.

Brenna moaned, lifting her back off the bed while thrusting forward. Her cries and breathing let him know she was close.

He increased the tempo and pressure of both his thumb and his cock.

  “Mmm, come for me, sugar.”

She was panting, “Oh, yes. Oh, Ron. Yes, Yes, YES!”

Her pussy contracted around his cock as her orgasm hit. With gritted teeth, Ron grunted, slamming into her. His balls slapped against her ass while the juices from her orgasm spurred him on and with a guttural cry, he released rope after rope of cum inside her.

Still gasping for breath, he put his arms around her tight and buried his face in her neck.

“You are so fucking sexy,” he gasped underneath her earlobe.

Brenna’s arms were around him and gently scratching his back up and down.

“So are you, baby. You’re lucky I didn’t jump you in front of everyone once I saw you in your uniform,” she teased.

“The jumping would have been mutual, darlin’. You almost got felt up on stage in front of dozens of Marines.”

She giggled. “I think they might have withheld your star if you had done that.”

Ron lifted his head up from her neck. “Are you kidding? They probably would have given me another one. You are fucking gorgeous, and I guarantee I’m not the only one in that room who noticed. I’m quite certain there were more eyes on your ass than on me while you were pinning my star on.”

With her hands in his hair, Brenna whispered, “Stop. That’s not true.”

This wasn’t her first time in front of an audience. She knew damn well he was right, but he loved her for her modesty.

Ron kissed her than rolled on his side. “Do you want to nap for a while before getting ready?”

Brenna wiggled her ass and got into the spooning position. “Just for an hour.”

Cupping one of her tits in his hand, he snarled, “Keep moving like that and you won’t be napping.”

When she put her hand behind his head and pulled him in for a kiss, he knew she didn’t give a damn about his warning.

He nudged her onto all fours.

Round Two was about to start.

  Chapter Fifty-One

  Brenna

Brenna came out of the bathroom, dressed in one of her standard little black dresses and heels; ready to go to dinner. Ron, back in his dress blues, stood up from the bed the second she appeared and gave a low whistle.

  “Goddamn, darlin’. You look beautiful.”

How did he always manage to make her feel desired? Cherished even?

She didn’t know, but she wasn’t complaining.

“General Thompson, you look very sexy yourself.”

He leaned down to kiss her below her ear. “Are you ready to go?”

“Ready as I’ll ever be! Thank you for including me today in, well, everything.”

“I love you, Brenna. There’s no one else I’d rather have by my side than you. Thank you for being here. I gotta admit, I was a little nervous that you weren’t coming when I didn’t hear from you.”

“Oh God, baby! I’m so sorry about that. All your emails were in my spam folder. I got your invitation yesterday and was on a flight seven hours later. I wouldn’t have missed this for the world. Although, if it weren’t for Cooper, I might have.”

He raised an eyebrow and she proceeded to tell him the story of forgetting her purse in the Uber ride, and security not letting her through, and her not knowing his phone number.

“Sounds like you’ve had quite the adventure. I guess I owe Cooper one for getting my girl to me.”

Her toes curled when he called her his girl. She loved the idea of being his girl.

“Well, I gave him Cassie’s phone number.”

He chuckled. “Why would you do that?”

“Because that’s what he wanted in return for helping me.”

That caused him to raise one of his eyebrows. “Interesting.”

Worry was written all over Brenna’s face. “Is there something wrong with him? Should I not have given him her number?”

“No, no. Nothing like that. I just wouldn’t have put the two of them together. But now that the idea is out there, I could see them dating.”

“Well, I’m still rooting for Luke, but Cooper would be an acceptable alternative.”

“He’s a good guy. Hell, they both are.”

Ron offered Brenna his arm. “Shall we go?”

  ****

There was a car waiting for them to take them to Ron’s hotel. The dinner reception where Ron was the guest of honor was being held there. Brenna loved seeing him in this light. He was in his element, and it was easy to see how dynamic of a leader he really was.

Brenna knew he had a commanding presence, she just had no idea to the extent. For most of the night, she sat back and observed him in action.

  It was sexy as fuck.

Every now and then, he’d catch her watching him and give her a wink and a smile.

Which made her panties a mess.

She enjoyed getting to know his family better and almost squealed with delight when his mother started telling stories about his youth. Ron had told Brenna when they first met that he’d always been a risk taker; judging by his mother’s accounts, he wasn’t lying. Fortunately, Ron had excused himself to go speak to someone, otherwise Brenna was sure he would have shut down his mother before she had a chance to get started.

The older woman had a gleam in her eye when she told Brenna that she’d never seen him so happy and alluded that Brenna was the source of that happiness.

“You’re still not getting grandbabies, Mother,” Ron said with a smirk as he sat down. “But Brenna does have an amazing daughter, Danielle, who I’m sure you’ll love.”

  That ended story time.

Fortunately, dancing started and Ron escorted her out to the dance floor for a traditional waltz.

“Do you realize that we haven’t been dancing since the first night we met?” he asked.

“We’ve been busy,” she replied with a smile.

That made him laugh. “You could definitely say that.”

He wanted to leave much earlier than she expected. They were having a wonderful time, so she didn’t understand why he wanted to cut it short.

“I think it might be considered bad form for me to close the place,” was his explanation.

Brenna didn’t know a lot about military etiquette, but that made sense.

They said their farewells, and he surprised her by holding her hand on their walk to the elevator. His touch was comforting and assuring. She realized at that moment just how much she’d missed him in her life.

“Please don’t disappear on me ever again,” she whispered, hugging his arm as they stepped into the elevator.

He hit the button for his floor then slid his arms around her waist from behind once the doors closed, murmuring in her ear, “You have my word, I won’t.”

The rest of the ride was in comfortable silence, and he took her hand again once they got off the elevator. There was an enormous grin on his face as they walked down the hall to his suite.

“What?” she asked with a suspicious smile.

“Nothing. I was just thinking I was the most envied man there tonight.”

“Well, I should hope so. You were the guest of honor.”

He shook his head. “No, it had nothing to do with that. It was because I had you as my da
te.”

Brenna smiled and shook her head at him. “Ever the charmer,” she scoffed.

He stopped her in the hall. “When will I get through to you that I don’t play games, and I always mean what I say, and what I’m saying to you right now is that you were the most breathtaking woman in that room.”

Brenna smiled. She knew better than to argue with him. “Thank you, babe. That’s very kind of you to say.”

Ron placed his hand at the small of her back, indicating they should start walking again. “Good girl,” he whispered in her ear.

A shiver shot through her. She shouldn’t love it when he called her that, but damn, she did.

With his keycard out, he paused before inserting it in the slot.

“I need you to know I love you, Brenna. No matter what, and I want to be in your life however I can be.”

A small smile formed on her lips. “I love you too, Ron,”

His brows were furrowed. “I mean it. No matter what, you need to know that I’ll be satisfied with whatever you want. I love you and that’s not going to change.”

This was making her nervous. Why was he telling her this?

The trepidation now replaced her smile. “Okay. I know that. I hope you know that I love you too.”

His face relaxed, and he hugged her around the shoulders, kissing her temple. “I know you do, darlin’.”

The green light lit up when he inserted the card, and he held the door open, gesturing her to go first.

She let out a gasp when she walked in. There were candles and roses everywhere, and rose petals adorned the floor like a path leading to the bed, which was also covered in rose petals. A bucket of ice with a bottle of champagne stood next to the bed with two glasses on the nightstand.

This was the ending scene in her screenplay, down to the placement of the candles. The only thing missing was…

Her eyes quickly scanned the foot of the bed.

  It was there.

An engagement ring in a blue Tiffany’s box.

Her eyes watered, and she whirled around to look at him leaning against the doorjamb.

“How did you know?” she gasped.

He pushed off the wooden frame and slowly walked toward her, never taking his eyes off hers.

Wiping her tears with the pads of his thumbs, he grinned. “Cassie gave me a copy of your screenplay.”

  Leave it her sister.

“I can’t believe you did all this.”

Ron took her hand and brought her knuckles to his mouth, kissing them gently. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, darlin’, but there isn’t much I wouldn’t do for you.”

“I have noticed, and I hope you know how much I appreciate everything–everything–you do. For me, my family, and our country. You are an amazing man, and I’m so lucky to have you in my life.”

He stood there a moment, just looking at her, before leading her to the where the ring was, and just like in her story, he took the diamond from the box and got down on one knee.

“Brenna Roberts, make me the happiest man on earth and say you’ll marry me.”

She stroked his face with her fingertips and looked into his brown eyes. “I would love to marry you, Ron Thompson.”

The general seemed relieved when he stood up and slid the ring on her finger. He bent down to kiss her softly, and her arms came around his neck, tugging him closer.

With his forehead resting against hers, he murmured, “I love you, Bren. Forever. No more misunderstandings, no more being proud and not listening–this is it. I want there to be something in our wedding vows about communicating. I almost lost you because I refused to communicate with you. Never again. I never want to be without you again.”

Brenna took a deep breath in. “I never want to be without you again either. And you’re right, we should say something in our vows about communicating. Think about all the time we missed out on, simply because we didn’t talk.”

Ron slowly unzipped her dress and kissed her shoulder once her dress slid down.

“I think we should include nonverbal communication too.” Moving his hands up her thighs, he said with a smile, “I’ll start.”

The things he said to her body that night were dirty, naughty, and an incredible preview of her future with Lieutenant General Ron Thompson.

He truly was her Superman. Granted, a dirty Superman, but she wouldn’t have him any other way.

  Epilogue

  Ron

Brenna and Ron were driving along the Pacific Coast Highway with the top down in his red Corvette convertible. It was a promotion gift from Brenna. Well, a promotion and an engagement gift; she surprised him with it waiting for him in his garage when they returned home from D.C. and teased him that the car counted as both.

After telling her she was the only present he’d ever need, he tied her wrists using the gold ribbon of the big bow that was on the windshield, bent her over, and fucked her on the hood.

He didn’t say anything when he learned that she bought the car from Travis Sterling. Turns out, Ava was pregnant again and insisting on a more mom friendly vehicle so one of Travis’ cars had to go to make room for her new Escalade in the garage. Ron didn’t think Brenna knew that he and Ava almost dated and didn’t see the point in telling her now.

  “Mrs. Thompson, are you hungry?”

Brenna broke out into a broad smile. “Say that again.”

“Say what again? Are you hungry?” he teased. He knew what she wanted him to say.

She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. “No, silly. Mrs. Thompson. Say Mrs. Thompson again.”

He downshifted as he exited the highway and growled, “Mrs. Thompson, you’re going to make it hard for me to walk into the restaurant.”

She gave him a quizzical look.

“Calling you Mrs. Thompson makes my cock rock hard, darlin’.”

With a coy smile, she cast her eyes down and whispered, “Oh.”

Ron didn’t think she had any idea how much she turned him on, but he was looking forward to helping her figure it out. He thought by the end of their honeymoon, she would be better informed.

He was damn sure going to continue reminding her.

Years later, when they snuck off at his retirement party so he could feel her up in the coat room, he asked her, “Do you know how much you still turn me on? After all this time.”

Reaching down and stroking his hard-on over his uniform pants, she smirked. “I think I have an idea.”

Ron slid her dress up her silky thighs while he reached between her legs and pulled her panties to the side. As his finger stroked her wet slit up and down, he murmured in her ear, “Mmm, glad to see the feeling is still mutual.”

With mock indignation, she protested, “You didn’t figure that out last night?”

The right side of his mouth lifted. “I’m getting old, darlin’. Sometimes I forget things.”

Brenna dropped to her knees and began undoing his belt. “Well, let me remind you, General. I’ve wanted to suck your cock in your dress blues since the first time I saw you in them.”

It was probably a good thing that she waited until he retired to do that.

He looked down at her and caressed her cheek with his thumb. “You are breathtaking.”

She smiled shyly before boldly licking the entire length of his shaft. “Thank you,” she purred before taking another swipe with her tongue.

“Good girl,” he groaned, fisting her hair as she engulfed his entire length.

Holding his cock in her hand, she popped his dick out of her mouth and grinned. “General Thompson, I’m on my knees, sucking your cock in the coat room at your retirement party. I’d hardly classify that as being a good girl.”

“Mmm, you’re right, Mrs. Thompson. You are a bad girl.” He couldn’t resist adding with a smile, “But you’re still breathtaking.”

  Operation Sex Kitten

Ava Ericson thought she had her life planned out: graduate with her PhD, marry Brad Miller when he finished law school, have 2.5 babies… and mediocre sex for the rest of her days. But when Brad dumps her upon learning he’s passed the bar, citing new “opportunities” available, she has to rethink her future. Believing her lack of experience was the reason Brad broke up with her, she launches Operation Sex Kitten (OSK), a plan to become a vixen in bed and get Brad back. Things might go astray when she meets the notorious attorney, Travis Sterling, the bachelor who she is sure can teach her a thing or two in the bedroom. As she enjoys putting OSK theories into practice, she realizes the real ‘operation’ will be for the two not to fall in love. Fun and romantic, Operation Sex Kitten turns up the heat with explicit scenes while you root for love to conquer all.
