My Boss Daddy: A Billionaire Boss Daddy Romance (My Daddy Series Book 3) Page 5

My pussy quivered, and I had to bite down on my lower lip to keep from crying out. “Fuck, yes.” I finally managed to find my words. “That feels so good, Daddy.”

I could feel my climax building. So unlike all the other orgasms I’d had with him, this one was coming from somewhere deep inside me, growing with every second that passed.

  “Oh...oh…I think I’m going to…yes. I’m going to—”

“Mr. Thomas?” There was a sharp rapping at the office door.

I jumped up, off the desk, at the same moment Daddy pushed his chair back. With my heart racing in my chest, I’d never moved so quickly as I did in that instant. In a flash, I smoothed my skirt down and ran a hand through my hair as I took position on the other side of the desk.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Daddy scrubbing his hands over his face and straightening his tie before picking up a pen and answering the call at the door.

“Come in,” he said. “It’s open.”

I sank into the seat across from the desk, seconds before the door opened to reveal Wendy from marketing.

“Sorry to bother you, Mr. Thomas, I was just looking for—oh,” she said when her eyes locked on mine.

There was no way she could tell what we’d been doing only moments before. Was there?

No. There was no way she could know.

“What can I help you with, Wendy?”

He was so calm. So collected. As if it were no big deal that only moments earlier he’d had his face between my legs, driving me to the very edge of what promised to be the most amazing orgasm I’d ever had. And that was saying something because the last week with him had been filled with one dizzying climax after another.

I crossed my legs in my chair, acutely aware of the juices that were dripping from me and no doubt ruining my skirt. I didn’t care, though, because what I really wanted to do was rub my legs together to relieve the pressure that threatened to explode if I didn’t release it. And soon.

  But Wendy was still there.

And now she was looking directly at me, as if she expected me to…

“Pardon me?” I tried to act as if I’d been paying attention, when clearly I’d been lost in my own thoughts. And needs.

She smiled sweetly and repeated herself. “It was you I was looking for,” she said. “I forgot to tell you that the new branding concepts that Mr. Grant wanted to see will be ready by the end of tomorrow.”

Branding concepts? Branding… I racked my brain, trying to focus on what it was she was talking about. The sexual frustration coupled with the fact that I’d just been busted with my legs spread on my boss’s face right there in the office had completely frozen my brain. Finally, I landed on the information I needed and remembered what it was she was talking about.

“Oh yes,” I said as calmly as possible. “The branding concepts.” I nodded and pretended to write something down in the notebook I was holding. “That’s good because Mr. Grant was hoping to see something right away. I know he’ll be pleased to know there’s something almost ready.”

Wendy nodded, but there was a strange look on her face. I chose to ignore it. “Is there anything else, Wendy?”

I wasn’t technically her superior at all; however, it was more or less implied because of my position as the assistant to the CEO of the company that I was to be afforded a certain level of respect. It was a power, such as it was, that I rarely—if ever—pulled out. But I didn’t like the way she was still standing there, watching us as if she might think that she knew something. It was obviously time to pull rank and remind her exactly who she was dealing with.

I narrowed my eyes and stared pointedly at her until she finally shook her head. “No. I just wanted to let you know that and I realized I hadn’t mentioned it.”

I nodded curtly, very aware I was being a bitch in self-preservation mode. “Perhaps next time that could be communicated in a quick email. Despite the fact that Mr. Grant is away right now, I’m very busy and that would be a more efficient use of time, don’t you think?”

She nodded slowly. “Of course, Brittany. Sorry.” She turned to leave and I almost let out a sigh of relief, but she spun around again. “One more thing.”

  “What’s that?”

“When exactly will Mr. Grant be returning?”

“Next week.” My reply was curt.

“Is that all, Wendy?” My eyes flew to Daddy, who had largely remained silent, watching intently. “We’re very busy preparing for a very important meeting, so if that’s all you needed, I’d be pleased for you to excuse us.”

The other woman flushed deeply, obviously embarrassed. I felt a little bad. I’d always liked Wendy, and almost considered her a friend. But I had to protect myself. And as much as I wanted to finish what we’d been doing before she walked in, the interruption had been a sharp reminder of how easily I could lose everything.

As soon as we were alone again, I crooked my finger and beckoned Brittany back to my desk, but she shook her head.

  “Pardon me?”

She shook her head again. “No. Not here,” she said. “Not now. I think she knows.”

“She doesn’t know.” Wendy seemed sharp enough, and I’m sure Shane didn’t make a habit of hiring dullards, but there was no way Wendy from marketing had any idea that I’d had my tongue in Brittany’s pussy, right there on my desk where there was still a trace of her sweet juices, only moments before she’d interrupted.

  She wasn’t that smart.

  And we’d been careful.

  Maybe not careful enough.

I shook off the thought. I wasn’t going to worry about that. Not when I had a reward to finish. Brittany deserved it more than ever after that interruption. She obviously wasn’t going to come to me, but I wasn’t going to let her off the hook so easily. I got up from my desk and moved until I stood in front of her.

  “Open your legs.”

She shook her head. “No, I—”

I could smell the juices I knew were still dripping down her legs. She needed—no, she deserved—the release. “I never leave a job unfinished.” Before she could protest again, I took her hand and pulled her up to her feet. I wrapped one arm snuggly around her waist, and used my other hand to ruck up her skirt.

I worked fast, knowing it wouldn’t take long. My fingers slid between her damp thighs and easily into her wet heat.

She moaned as I pressed up inside her and she sagged into my arm that was holding her up.

My fingers moved quickly and relentlessly as I drove her easily over the edge. I kissed her hard, pressing my lips against hers to swallow her moans of release as she came hard over my hand.

When she recovered and her eyes fluttered open, they were full of wonder, just the way they always were when she climaxed. I hadn’t asked about her past lovers, but I could tell she’d never before been taken to the heights I took her to. It was a heady power knowing I alone had the ability to give her so much pleasure.

“Like I said, I always finish what I started.”

She nodded. A sly grin crossed her face. “It’s dangerous.”

“Of course it is. We knew that.”

I moved away from her back to my side of the desk. Suddenly, I needed distance from her. It was becoming harder and harder to be in close proximity and not touch her. It didn’t seem to matter whether I’d just had my mouth on hers or my cock deep inside her—it wasn’t enough. I needed more.

  Like a drug.

A drug that I had zero plans to quit.

As soon as I sat at my desk, I pulled my files close and flipped into business mode. “I have a very important meeting tonight. It’s crucial that I’m able to acquire this app for further development, but the developers are a bit tricky.”

  “Why is that?”

I loved that she was so professional. So competent but at the same time, so fucking sexy. Her face was still flushed, her breath still coming quickly from her orgasm, but if it was time to wo
rk, she was all business.

“They’re a husband-and-wife team and the husband is extremely jealous.” It felt ridiculous even saying the words out loud, but I made it my business to know everything there was to know about an opportunity before going in. My investigators had discovered why this particular app hadn’t already been snapped up for investment. It was the husband. Apparently, according to my sources, he was extremely jealous and suspicious of any male investors and he assumed they only wanted one thing: his wife.

It was ludicrous, but I wasn’t about to take any chances of losing this deal. “I’ll need you to come with me to the meeting and pretend to be my wife. He needs to feel as secure as possible when it comes to working with me. And the only way he’s going to feel that way when it comes to his wife is knowing that I’m already madly in love and only have eyes for one woman.”

Something in my stomach clenched as I said the words, because like it or not, there already was a note of truth to them. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that there could be an entire room full of naked swimsuit and lingerie models standing right in front of me, and the only woman I wouldn’t be able to take my eyes off of was Brittany.

And that scared the fuck out of me.

  15

  Brittany

I took off a little bit early from the office, but only because I needed to run home to prepare for the business dinner with Daddy and his prospective acquisition. I also needed to gather up my paintings, load them carefully in the trunk of my hatchback so I could go directly from dinner to my meeting with Stan.

I knew I’d be cutting it close, but I couldn’t miss that meeting. Not for anything.

  Not even for Daddy.

A flicker of something I couldn’t identify fluttered through my body at the thought of disappointing him. It had only been a week since we’d been…doing whatever it was that we were doing, but it somehow felt like longer than that. Like we…belonged together.

It was ridiculous and as soon as the thought came into my brain, I pushed it away. Our arrangement was just that. An arrangement between two people. An executive and his assistant.

  That was it.

Besides, he was going to be leaving and going back to the East Coast soon anyway. Even if I did feel anything for him, it wouldn’t matter. It was best for everyone if I just focused on the moment.

As quickly as I could, I finished packing up my paintings before choosing the sexiest—wife of an executive—dress I could find and rushed to meet Daddy out front of the restaurant.

“You look amazing,” he said the moment he saw me. His eyes tracked my body up and down as he openly appreciated what he saw.

“I’m glad you like it.” I moved in for a kiss as if it were the most natural thing in the world. After all, we were supposed to be playing the happily married couple.

The kiss was far too short for my liking, but even so, my panties were damp when I pulled back.

He smiled that cocky grin I was getting far too used to and reached into his pocket. “I suppose you’re going to need this, darling.”

My mouth dropped open, and try as I might, I couldn’t find the words as I stared at the biggest, sparkliest diamond I’d ever seen. My fingers fluttered out to touch it before I yanked my hand away.

It must be worth millions. A diamond that big had no business on my hand.

  “Where did you…how did you…why…”

He laughed and took my left hand, easily slipping the massive rock into place on my ring finger before he curled my hand over and kissed it gallantly. “It’s on loan,” he said. “I hope you like it.”

  “Like it?”

“You don’t?” His eyes twinkled with mischief. “I’ll take it—”

“Don’t you dare.” I snatched my hand away, causing him to laugh.

“Come on.” He wrapped an arm around my waist and guided me gently into the restaurant. “Are you ready for this, Mrs. Thomas?”

As it turned out, the Wilsons were a lovely couple, even if it was clear that Mr. Wilson was extremely jealous of every other male in the restaurant, including the waiter, giving his wife any attention at all. At one point, I was pretty sure he was going to punch the waiter in the nose just for asking her whether she’d enjoyed her duck.

Fortunately, I easily charmed both of them, and by the time dessert was served, we were all talking freely about Daddy investing in their app and how the four of us would celebrate the acquisition over yet another dinner.

I tried not to think about what that would look like considering Daddy would be going back to his East Coast office in only a few days, and even if he did finally settle on an office in town, I wouldn’t be working for him anymore. I tried not to think about what the Wilsons would think when they went to organize that celebratory dinner and discovered that I, in fact, was not married to Trent Thomas after all.

“Are you okay, darling?” Daddy’s hand was on my back, stroking my bare skin with his thumb. “You look a little preoccupied all of a sudden.”

I shook off my negative thoughts. “I’m fine.” I forced a smile. “But I do think I’ll go visit the ladies’ room, if you all would excuse me for a moment.”

Daddy stood and helped me from my chair like the gentleman he was. He kissed my cheek, letting his lips linger before I excused myself.

I just needed a few moments alone to compose myself and remind myself of why I was there in the first place. As soon as I walked through the door of the ladies’ room, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes to exhale slowly. Everything would be okay.

“Well,” a familiar voice said behind me. “What a surprise seeing you here.”

Any chance I had for relaxation evaporated and I spun around to see Wendy glaring at me through narrow eyes.

Reflexively, I took a step backward. “What are you…”

“Doing here?” she finished for me. “I really could ask you the same thing. But I don’t have to, because it’s fairly clear to me that I already know the answer.”

She scoffed with disgust and icy fear dripped down my back.

How had I ever thought this girl could be a friend of mine? I mean, I hadn’t been the nicest to her earlier, but even so. Wendy had pure hatred in her eyes and I knew exactly what was coming.

  “You’re fucking your boss.”

I didn’t try to deny it. “Wendy, you don’t—”

“I don’t know what I’m talking about?” She laughed, but it wasn’t a friendly sound. “Oh, I think I know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not stupid, Brittany. I know exactly what I walked in on earlier, and what I’d almost walked in on pretty much every day all week. You’re fucking your boss and it’s funny,” she said with another scoff. “Because I always kind of had you figured for a slut. But I never would have thought you were a stupid slut.” She shrugged casually. “But I guess I was wrong, wasn’t I? You’re nothing but a dumb whore spreading her legs in the office. I always did wonder how you got away with wearing your trashy short little skirts, prancing around in front of Mr. Grant the way you do. I guess it’s not such a secret anymore how you got your job, is it?”

My hand flew out so quickly, I couldn’t have stopped it if I’d wanted to. Not that I did. The sound of the slap reverberated through the small room; the gratifying sting on my palm burned my skin.

“You stupid whore.” Wendy took a stumbling step backward, her hand clutching her cheek. “You’re done. I hope you enjoyed it and the dick was worth it, because you’re finished at MultiTech. I have evidence of the two of you in his office and I’m taking it straight to Shane Grant on Monday morning. I will ruin you.”

Brittany was gone a long time to the ladies’ room. Too long. I was just about to excuse myself to go looking for her, when she returned. She was stunning, and she’d played her role perfectly. So perfectly in fact, she had my mind spinning with possibilities.

But I couldn’t think about that at the moment because something was wrong.r />
Her makeup was perfect; her hair, flawless. But nonetheless, I could see something in her eyes. I jumped to my feet.

“Are you all right, darling? We were just talking about possibly going somewhere where we could get a nightcap, but you look a little…are you tired?”

She nodded. Too quickly and forced a smile that didn’t come close to her usual radiant glow.

“I really am,” she said, her voice laced with apology. “Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, it was such a delight to meet you and I really do hope we can go for the celebratory dinner very soon.”

I stepped back and watched her. She was playing her role, but something was off. Very off.

“I do hope you will excuse my rudeness tonight,” Brittany continued. “I just all of a sudden became quite exhausted. I hope I’m not coming down with something.”

“Oh, I hope not.” Mrs. Wilson genuinely looked concerned for my faux wife. “But you really should go and put yourself to bed if you’re feeling exhausted like that. It’s just not worth it.”

“No,” Brittany said with relief. “It’s really not.” She turned to me, but wouldn’t quite meet my eyes. “Darling, you stay and enjoy yourself. There’s no need for both of us to leave.”

“Nonsense.” Mr. Wilson jumped in before I could speak. “Trent, take your wife home and take care of her. We’re good here.”

I turned to these people, who, up until a moment ago, had been my primary concern. “I think I’ll do just that,” I said. “Dinner is already taken care of. And we’ll be in touch first thing on Monday morning?”

“Absolutely.” The other man rose and shook my hand. “I think this will be the start of what I hope will be a very profitable relationship for both of us.”

I shook his hand, made the briefest nod in the direction of his wife, and then we were gone, my hand on the small of Brittany’s back guiding her out of the restaurant and around the building to the parking lot where I’d left my car. It wasn’t until we were in the privacy of the brick wall that sheltered us from the street that I released my hold on her and turned her to look at me.
