“So I think that completes everything for the announcement on Friday, though once again I’d like to point out that I think Talia’s far too young for this position.”
“I know, but you have no say,” my father said. “Especially considering what’s occurred.”
Randy said, “Obviously. But still, I’m not pleased. I still have shares.”
“For now,” my dad said. “And you don’t have to be pleased, Talia’s taking over, and that’s that.”
Randy was getting annoyed. “Why don’t we have a face-to-face? Can we do lunch today?”
My father said, “Yes, we can…”
As my father spoke, Jamie moved faster and faster. His hips were like a jackhammer. My back ground into the wall behind me. Then he looked into my eyes. His crystal blues were burning from inside. He kissed me. Then he whispered, “I’m cumming.” He pushed into me one last time, dropped both hands onto my ass and squeezed. Jamie erupted, deep in my pussy. His cum shot inside of me, hot and wet. Sticky and sweet. I kept moving my hips, pulling as much as I could get.
And that’s when I climaxed. The pleasure rolled through me like tectonic plates shifting. My ass flexed, as did the rest of my body, and I squirmed as he pinned me between the hard wall, and his even harder chest. Convulsions rocked my body, and I held him tight in my arms and legs, trying to keep him from ever pulling out of me. I cried out, “I’m cumming. I’m cumming!”
And as the wave receded, everything in my body tingled. My legs were practically dead, and I hung there limp. Every muscle locked and melted. And all I could think was, this man now owns me. I’d been fucked by two of his friends, but he could do the job of three men by himself.
Then it hit me. Terror replaced pleasure. Because…
Fuck! Did I yell ‘I’m cumming’ on a conference call?
My hearing was back. There was silence in my office.
And stillness. Jamie wasn’t moving.
Finally, my father said, “Um. Ok. So Talia clearly wants to come to lunch, but frankly I think it’ll be better if it’s just Randy and me. There are still a few things we need to sort out.”
“Granted,” Randy said. “But Talia and I do need to chat. I have something I’d like to discuss with her. Regarding her new position.”
“That’s fine,” my father said. “Talia?”
I was panting heavily. But I caught my breath and said, “Sorry. Yes. That’s no problem. Maybe tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow’s good for me,” Randy said.
I added. “And I’m sorry I yelled. I was getting frustrated because my audio didn’t seem to be working.”
“Noted. We’ll get a tech guy on it,” my father said.
I nodded to Jamie.
He pulled out, and without anything holding me up, I slid to the floor, and landed on my feet. Then I ran to the computer and said, “Sure thing. Thanks so much, and goodbye,” before clicking it off.
Jamie collapsed into my chair. “That was incredible.”
I pulled down my skirt, and buttoned up my blouse. “I know.”
“But there was one thing it was really missing,” he said.
I turned to him. “What’s that?”
“More kissing.” He stood up. Cupped my face in his powerful hand, and laid his lips on mine. They were so soft. And the smell of his aftershave, like an animal’s musk, filled my nose. I melted, and our lips parted. My tongue searched his mouth, and its warm, sweet wetness was delicious.
We stood there, kissing for a very long while. Until finally I stopped it. “Ok. You have to go, and I have some work to do.”
Jamie tucked his thick cock back into his pants. “No problem. Call me.” He started walking towards the door.
“I will,” I said.
Once that lion strode from the office, I fell back into my chair and sighed. Once again, I was safe. So was my reputation and promotion.
I leaned back, and savored the smell of vanilla and spice that clung to my body. I thought of that thin kid who asked me out years ago, and the beast he’d become, and sighed.
My hero.
Chapter 7
It was the next day, and I was in the executive dining room with Randy. He was in a gray suit that made him look especially gaunt, and thanks to the lighting, his brown hair looked thinner than usual. He also looked tired. Beaten. I wasn’t surprised. If I was about to lose my job, I’d have looked like death warmed over, too. “So, I’m sure you understand why I’ve invited you here,” he said.
“Actually,” I said, taking a seat at his table, “I have no idea.”
“Really?” He looked me up and down. “It’s for one last look at you.”
I rolled my eyes. “Flirting? Seriously?”
“Oh, come on,” Randy said. “You must get this constantly, being the boss’s daughter.”
“Boss’s daughter? I thought you were the boss. For another few days at least.”
He smiled like an eel. “Cute. You’re cute. And have one hell of a tongue. Something I’ve fantasized about a number of times.”
“I’ve fantasized about running this company a number of times. It’s nice to see that one of us is actually going to live out their dream.”
Randy’s slimy smile melted into a sneer. “You know, a lot can happen in two days.”
“It would have to. After all, you got caught diverting funds illegally into your own account. That’s fraud. It’s not just a fire-able offense, but one that carries with it prison time. If I were you, I’d be a lot more respectful to me.”
“Oh, as CEO you think you’ll have me charged?”
I sat there. And didn’t say a thing.
“Of course you won’t. Your dad still holds sway over the board, and he hates a scandal. Better to kick me out with no severance, than to cause the company, and the family name, some embarrassment.”
“It’s his call, and he made it. But come on, it’s not like you’re really going to leave with nothing.” I crossed my arms and smirked. “How much of that missing money did my father actually find?”
Randy lifted one eyebrow up. And matched my smirk. “Not all of it. Not by a long shot. But if you can’t prove it, did it really happen?” He reached over, and took a sip of his martini.
If you can’t prove it, did it really happen? I pretty much lost my appetite right there. “Listen, I appreciate the cute quips, but I’m actually a little busy. So maybe we can get to your point, if there is one?”
He put his cocktail down. “I’m not at liberty to discuss exactly what I have to offer you. Just yet. But I did want to put out some feelers.” He stared at my chest. “So to speak.”
“So put them out already. This conversation is making my skin crawl.”
“I want to keep this job, and I’m hoping you might help. That’s all I’m going to say. For now. But I want you to be open to me. Open like you haven’t been before. I’m not as powerless as you think.”
“God, I should have you thrown out of the building for fun.”
“Only the CEO can bar board members from the building. And you’re not the CEO.”
Now I smiled. “Yet.”
“Exactly. Derrick’s making the announcement Friday. Another Breitling will be taking over the company. I’m out, you’re in. But until then, I’m the boss. And I can do what I want, when I want, to whom I want. Don’t forget it. I didn’t become CEO of a company like this by being a nice guy. I think that’s a lesson you never learned. Rich bitches like you don’t have to. Your daddy can always buy, or intimidate, you out of trouble.”
“What’s that mean?”
“It means you should cover your ass, or someone might slap it. It also means that today’s Wednesday, and Friday’s a long ways away. A lot can happen in that time.”
I thought about his words. I had no idea what he was going on about. “Randy, I’m not sure-”
“You’re dismissed, Talia.”
I opened my mouth. But stopped. Randy was always an ass, but his whole riddle of t
he sphinx thing was too annoying. And I didn’t want to give him the pleasure of asking any more questions, or allowing him to think I was rattled. So instead, I got up, and walked out of the dining room as fast as I could.
Because I could feel that weasel’s eyes on my ass for every step.
#
“Cover your ass? What’s that supposed to mean?” Hiromi said.
I was back in my office, and Hiromi was sitting on the other side of my desk. “I have no idea,” I said. “But you should have seen him. He was so pleased with himself.”
Hiromi leaned back. Her sharp mind was clearly working. “Hey, you don’t think that he has any information on what you did with Liam and Mark, do you?”
I thought about it. And said, “No. I don’t think Jamie was being insincere. He actually was kind of sweet. Which is why I let him drill me like an oil field.”
“You did?”
I smiled. And once again, spilled my secrets.
She took it well. “Holy crap, you’re out of control!”
“No. Quite the opposite.”
Hiromi threw her head back and laughed. “Ok, ok. You’re in total control. Wow, you really are my hero. But I guess that does mean Jamie was being honest.”
“I agree,” I said. “But you know what? Let’s just be safe and double check.” I grabbed my phone, and called him.
“Hello?” he said.
“Jamie? Talia here. Quick question, did you share Sue’s little home movie with anybody?”
“God no!” Jamie said. “Why would I?”
“You’re sure?” I said.
“Listen, Talia, I swear on my mother. I watched it a few time myself and that’s it. Then I gave it to you.”
“That phone doesn’t link to the cloud, and automatically upload any-”
“I’m a cyber security expert,” Jamie said. “You think I’d be that dumb? I even checked to make sure it wasn’t recorded or duplicated, and it wasn’t.”
I nodded to Hiromi.
She returned it.
“Thanks,” I said. “Just checking.”
“Ms. Breitling,” Jamie said, “you can check with me about anything at any time. Also, I wanted to mention, there’s a hearing impaired dance troupe coming through town in two weeks, I wondered if you might like to go with me?”
Hiromi’s jaw fell open.
“That sounds nice, I’ll let you know. Bye-bye.” I hung up the phone.
“Jesus, you turned out a goddamn Spartan!” Hiromi said. “He sounds like he’s in love."
“I know,” I said. “I have that effect on men.”
My friend shook her head. “Talk about maintaining control. Sister, I’m getting more and more impressed with you as time goes on. You’re going to make one hell of a CEO.”
“And you’re going to be my second-in-command. But scoot for now, I have work.”
Hiromi gave me a mock salute, then left my office.
And I sighed in relief. Jamie didn’t show anyone else the video, and it wasn’t recorded, so there were no more copies floating around.
Except for the original.
I unlocked my drawer, and pulled the phone out. Then I placed it on my desk, and removed my shoe. Holding it up high, I aimed carefully, and brought my heel crashing down as fast as I could. It struck the small piece of tech, and its screen shattered. But it wasn’t enough. So I struck it again and again, until it was in a few dozen pieces. I carefully scooped them all up, and dropped them into the glass of water on my desk. And as the metal pieces floated to the bottom I smiled.
Fuck you, Randy. You don’t got a thing on me.
Chapter 8
A few hours after my meeting with Randy, I was back home in my father’s palatial estate. I headed through the massive rooms, practically floating towards my wing, when a voice said, “Feeling good?”
I stopped and turned. “Dad!”
He smiled. “Indeed. I’m glad you look so pleased, I’m assuming it’s the new position?”
I thought of how yesterday Jamie had me bent over my desk. “It’s absolutely the new position. I’ve always wanted to be CEO of your company.”
“Our company,” he said. “It’s publicly traded.”
“True. But we own the largest percentage of stock.” I walked over to him, and kissed his cheek. “Anyway, I couldn’t be happier.”
“I’ve been meaning to ask, have you given any thoughts to marriage?”
And while I’d been floating a second ago, suddenly I came back down to earth. “I have not.”
“I’m not surprised. Modern women today are so independent.”
“Does that bother you?” I said.
And for the first time in a long time, my dad had a really sweet smile. “Not at all. You’ve always been the best mix of your mother and me. You have my tenacity and business instincts, and her kindness and intelligence.”
“You think?” I said.
“I do, actually. Just not as much or as well as your late mother. She was so brilliant, just like you.”
I kissed his cheek again. “Well, when I do get married, I guarantee it will be to someone like you.”
“That’s what every father likes to hear. But it reminds me, I think I met a young man you might like.”
“What? How? And who?”
“His name’s Mark, and he works for us. Actually, he works for Randy. Or at least he will, until we remove him. I’ve decided to keep him on for a month after we make the announcement on Friday, to keep in an eye on him. I can’t prove it, but I believe there’s still a considerable amount of money missing. Though once it’s all settled, this Mark will serve under you.”
I swallowed hard. The last time I was with Mark he was above me. And behind me. Everywhere but under. I still remembered it fondly. “That’s nice, but I don’t think-”
“Actually, I invited him over for dinner tonight. I believe he’s got a good head on his shoulders. As president, you may find an opening for him to fill.”
“Oh Dad…” I said. “Dinner? Tonight? I was going to have drinks with Hiromi.”
“Your lawyer friend? Postpone it. This young man will be in a position to understand Randy’s systems better than anyone, which will help you prepare for the takeover.”
“Where will you be?” I said.
“I’m taking a quick trip to Korea. I need to have a face-to-face with our team there. Let them know you’ll be taking over, and that nothing will change.”
“You can’t send someone else?”
“Of course not. Asia has its own way of doing things, and I can’t afford to offend our friends there. They need to save their face. But don’t worry, I’ll be back by Friday morning, at ten o’clock sharp, to announce your promotion to the board. Now I have to go.” He kissed my forehead, and walked off. But stopped before he left the room. “By the way, I doubt anything’s going to happen, but watch out for Randy. At lunch yesterday he said some rather cryptic things about you taking his job. He’s obviously furious about the whole thing, and I think he may try something. I have that new security guy Jamie watching him, but still, be on your toes.”
“Ok. But if he’s so angry, maybe he shouldn’t have committed fraud.”
My father laughed. “My thoughts exactly. See you in two days. Madame President.”
I ran to my room and called Hiromi. “I have to cancel tonight.”
“Why, is Jamie coming over?” She sounded like a teenager.
“No, Mark.”
There was a pause. “Damn girl, you’re really getting around. And around. And around.”
“It’s not like that. My father invited him over, trying to set me up. Besides, he also works for Randy, so it’ll be good to have some ears on that side of the fence.”
“Ha ha ha! You’re kidding?”
“I’m not.”
“Are you going to do anything with him?”
“No. Just dinner and maybe some work talk. Frankly, he doesn’t seem smart enough to help, but I’m keeping m
y fingers crossed.”
“You’ve always liked the brainy ones.”
I sort of had a dreamy sound to my voice. “Jamie’s not that brainy.”
Hiromi dropped the friendly tone and got severe. “Hey, shut that noise down.”
“What do you mean?”
“You sound like a smitten teen.”
“I’m not, I mean I sort of-”
Hiromi sighed heavily. “What did I just say? Do not catch feelings. For any of these guys. You’ve always fallen in love too easily. You need to keep your head clear. Focused. In control. And by the way, it’s not Jamie you like, it’s his dick.”
I thought it over. Hiromi was right. It was so easy to get swept up in emotions. And I didn’t love Jamie, not even close, but I did love parts of him… “Fair enough.”
“Good. In fact, if you want my opinion, make out and blow Mark. It’ll help get Supercock out of your thoughts.”
“Is that your professional opinion?”
“It is.”
Just then, the front doorbell rang. “Ok, that’s tall, dumb, and muscular. I got to go.”
“Good luck having an intelligent conversation. And have fun, Ms. President.”
“That’s Madame President,” I said.
“Damn right. And it’s good to be the queen!”
I hung up and ran downstairs in my work clothes, and opened our door. Standing there was Mark. He had on jeans and a black T-shirt, and the tattoos he had ran up and down his arm like Pagan inscriptions. He looked like a wild warrior, with his Spanish looks, dark, thick hair, and smoldering eyes. He stared at me like I was on the menu.
“Hi, Talia. I’m so happy you invited me over.”
“I didn’t. My dad did. But it’s nice to see you again.”
A smile crept from one end of his full lips to the other. And with anticipation of I don’t know what, he said, “Aren’t you going to let me come inside?”
#
Surprisingly, Mark and I had a very nice meal. There was no talk of sex, and no more stupid, lewd comments alluding to me on all fours. Actually, there was just a lot of discussion regarding economics. Mark had some fascinating ideas on Keynesian theory, and he explained them rather eloquently. So eloquently, in fact, that after dessert, I invited him to stay for a drink in the den. He had a scotch, and I had a brandy.
