“Harder… faster.”
“God, babe… You feel so good.” I felt him start to pump harder and faster.
“Yes… Ahh.” I was coming down from my orgasm and Jacob thrust inside of me harder and faster. As he called my name out as he came I felt myself go over the edge again. I was exhausted and dropped my legs to the floor as I didn’t have the strength to keep them wrapped around him. As he pulled out of me I heard him say;
“Shit.”
“What?” I asked, confused. He was looking down and I followed his gaze and saw his release running down my leg. “Oh… It’s ok, baby. I’m on the pill… And I’m clean, I had only had sex once before you and I used a condom.”
“I’m clean too babe, I’ve never not used a condom before… That must have been why it felt so good… Shit, what if I’ve got you pregnant? Not that I wouldn’t be happy about that…”
“What? You want to have a baby with me?” I asked, shocked. My eyes felt like they were about to pop out of my head.
“Yes… Of course, someday… Babe, you’re mine.” I smiled at him and he grabbed our clothes off of the floor and pulled his t-shirt over my head. He led me out of the kitchen and guided me towards the shower.
Chapter 14
Jacob, Matt and I were sitting in Jacob’s car outside Bonnie’s house; we were going to ‘The Dome’ to see Flix perform. Bonnie was very excited, secretly I think she had a major crush on Jax, the lead singer.
“Beep again, baby.” I told Jacob. I turned around in the front seat to talk to Matt. “Don’t push it with her tonight, be her friend.” He nodded at me just as Bonnie got in the car. “Hi, Bon. Excited?”
“Yeah, let’s go lover boy.” She said, lightly slapping Jacob on the arm. He laughed at her and started driving. “So, Rose, how has it been at home?”
“Ok, I just try to avoid Amelia…”
“She was asking me questions at lunch today.” Bonnie told me. I snapped my head around to look at her.
“What did she say?”
“She was asking why you were staying at my house so much. I just told her we were doing a psychology project and it was taking a long time to get it completed.”
“That little…” I was clenching my fists.
“Babe.” Jacob said calmly as he laid his hand over my fists. “Let’s enjoy our night. Besides, if what Matt said is right, she won’t have her eyes set on me for much longer.”
“What does that mean?” I asked Matt.
“Thanks, man.” Matt said to Jacob. “Let’s just say she came back for more after I distracted her for you the other day.” He winked at me.
“You slept with her?” Bonnie asked. I looked over to Bonnie and thought I saw a look of hurt and upset cross her face before she quickly changed her expression to appear as if she wasn’t bothered.
“Hell yeah, he did… Said she was wild… No wonder he wanted more.” Jacob said as he parked the car at the venue. As he turned around to look at Matt they high fived and Bonnie got out of the car and slammed the door behind her.
“Great guys, well done.” I told them as I got out and ran after Bonnie. “Bonnie… Wait.” She stopped walking and waited until I caught up to her. I looped my arm through hers and we walked towards the entrance. As we got there I turned around and saw that Jacob and Matt were behind us. We stopped at the desk to pay. “They’re paying for us.” I pointed behind me to Jacob and Matt as Bonnie and I walked inside.
“Let’s get a drink.” Bonnie said, as she practically dragged me to the bar. She called over the bar man and asked for a couple of shots and two vodka and cokes. By the time he returned with our drinks I could feel Jacob behind me; he wrapped his arms around my stomach and leant over and said to the bar man;
“And two lagers please, whatever you have on tap is fine.” Jacob then lowered his head to my ear and whispered; “Should you be drinking? What if you’re pregnant.”
“I’ve told you I’m on the pill…” He went to interrupt me so I continued with. “I have also started my period, so don’t worry.” His eyes flashed with emotion and I wasn’t sure if it was relief or disappointment.
“Thanks man.” Jacob said to the bar man as he handed over the money to pay for our drinks.
“Rose, let’s dance.” Bonnie said looking at the dance floor. I nodded and placed my drink back on the bar. I went to walk away when Jacob grabbed my hand and pulled me back to him and kissed me deeply. When he pulled away he winked at me.
“Come on.” Bonnie said pulling at my arm. I stepped away from Jacob and saw him mouth the word ‘mine’. I nodded my head and blew him a kiss.
Bonnie and I started dancing and I took the opportunity to ask what had happened earlier with Matt.
“What happened earlier?”
“I don’t know… I… I guess I was shocked that he slept with your sister… What if she is using him to get to Jacob or you?”
“Is that really what it is? Or were you jealous?” I looked around to see if Jacob was near as I could feel eyes watching me. I was surprised to see that we had a large crowd of guys dancing near us.
“Jealous? I’m not jealous… I had my night of fun with him, now I’m definitely not going near him again after he has been with her.”
“Well, I wouldn’t worry as looks like you’ve got your pick tonight.” I said waving my hands to the guys around us. A couple of them must have seen that as an invitation to talk to us as we were soon being chatted up by two guys. We had only been talking for a couple of minutes when a large hard body was pressed against my back. I knew it was Jacob by the way he smelled and how my body reacted. I stepped to the side and cuddled in close to his side as I said;
“Baby, this is…” I waited for the guys to introduce themselves to my protective man.
“Steve and that is Hank.” Steve held out his hand to shake Jacobs and Jacob shook it back. “Sorry man, I didn’t mean to step on anyone’s toes.”
“No problem.” Jacob said as he kissed the top of my head.
“I mean, I figured I was probably out of luck… The chances of a hot woman like her being single is slim.” I felt Jacob tense as Steve called me hot, so I interrupted him.
“Steve… Stop talking… Come on baby, dance with me.” Jacob was glaring at Steve so I stood on my tiptoes and whispered in his ear. “Let me press my body against yours and get lost in the music.” I heard a little growl come from Jacob and grabbed his hand and led him away from Steve.
“Nice meeting you, Steve.” I said over my shoulder. He nodded at us both and walked away. I wrapped my arms around Jacob’s neck and began moving my body seductively to the slow beat of the music. After a few minutes I looked over my shoulder to see Bonnie was kissing and dancing with Hank. I looked back towards the bar and saw that Matt was watching them. I knew he wanted to see more of Bonnie but I didn’t know how much he liked her or if it was just for more sex or a relationship. Was he sleeping with Amelia to make Bonnie jealous? It wasn’t the way to win her over; he would just be sending her mixed signals. He looked hurt and angry with her at the minute. He seemed to snap out of it as he dug his phone out of his pocket. I saw him look at the caller display then look across towards Jacob. He answered it and walked outside so he could hear better.
A couple of minutes later Matt walked over to us and whispered something to Jacob. I couldn’t hear what he said as it was noisy around us. I heard Jacob swear and he turned towards me.
“Babe, Matt and I have gotta go.”
“What? Where?”
“I can’t tell you…”
“The same as before?” I asked him. He nodded. “So are you not going to talk to me for days again this time?”
He placed his hands on the side of my face and rubbed his thumbs over my cheeks. “No, babe… We might be back before the show is over; if not will you go to the flat and wait for us there?” He asked as he placed something in my hand. I looked down and saw it was a door key.
“No, I don’t want that… If you’r
e not here then I will be going home.” I shoved the key into his hand.
“Please, babe.” He begged.
“Tell me where you’re going… What you’re doing?” I demanded.
“We gotta go, J.” Matt said from behind him.
“Just go.” I walked away towards the bathroom, I was upset but I wasn’t going to let him see me cry. He didn’t try and stop me. I looked over my shoulder as I was about to walk through the door and saw Jacob and Matt walking towards the exit.
I sat down on the toilet seat and let my tears run down my face. I couldn’t understand why he kept whatever he was doing a secret from me. Was I over reacting? It upset me that he felt like he couldn’t confide in me; I had fallen in love with him and was so scared that I was going to get my heart broken. I hadn’t built up the nerve to tell him that I loved him yet, I was scared. I know he told me all the time that I am his, but what if he decided I’m not what he wants? What if he never tells me what he has gone off to do? Would I be ok with the fact that my boyfriend would disappear every so often and not know where or why? I didn’t know if I would be. How would I be able to trust him completely if he wasn’t completely honest with me.
“Rose? Rose, are you in here?” Bonnie called out.
I wiped my tears away and called out; “Yeah, be out in a second.” I cleaned myself up the best that I could and opened the toilet door and saw Bonnie standing in front of me with her arms folded over her chest.
“What’s happened?” She rushed towards me and pulled me close for a hug. I explained everything that had happened. “Do you want to go home? Or to mine?”
“No, I wanna enjoy the show… When are Flix on?” I asked her, as I dampened a tissue and began cleaning up my mascara that had run down my face.
“They’ve just started.”
“Come on then, let’s go and feast our eyes on some hot men.”
“Hell yeah!” We walked out of the bathroom and I was surprised when I saw Amelia standing there.
“Hey baby sis, come and give me some love.” She slurred as she attempted to hug me.
“Amelia are you drunk?” She stepped back from me.
“No… Where is that hot boyfriend of yours?” She slurred again.
“I don’t have a boyfriend.” I told her.
“Yeah and I thought you had your claws in Matt now anyway.” Bonnie said as she grabbed my hand and walked past Amelia.
“Do Mum and Dad know you’re here?” She always had to play this card with me and I was fed up of it.
“Yes, they do.” I lied. “Come on, Bonnie. Let’s go watch the show.” Bonnie and I walked towards the stage so we could enjoy the music and dance at the same time. Flix were great and they were a good distraction for me.

“I hope you’re all having a good time, this is the last one for tonight.” Jax called out over the microphone.
“Oh, I love this one… I’m going to record it.” I got out my phone and was disappointed that I hadn’t heard anything from Jacob. I turned on my camera and began filming their last song.
“Look, Amelia is over there… What is she doing?” Bonnie asked me. I looked over to where she was looking.
“I don’t know… Who’s that guy?”
“Film them and we can get a better look later.” Bonnie told me. I turned the camera towards them and zoomed in. I only got maybe a minutes worth but it would help to explain why she has been acting so strange.
“Thanks guys, you were great.” Jax called out at the end of the song and we all cheered.
Bonnie and I made our way outside, we needed to see if we could get a taxi as Matt and Jacob had left with the car as Bonnie and I were both drinking alcohol. I was surprised to see Jacob standing by his car. I looked towards Bonnie and she shrugged her shoulders. I wasn’t sure if it was best to go and see him or walk away and leave it until another day. I’d cried enough for one night and if he wasn’t going to tell me what the big secret was then I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend the night with him.
“Rose.” Jacob called out, waving his arm.
“I’d best get this over with.” I said to Bonnie. We began walking towards Jacob and he was smiling. I stopped a little way away from him. “What do you want, Jacob?”
“I’m here to pick you girls up… Come here.” He took a step towards me and I stepped away. “Babe?”
“Fine, take us to Bonnie’s.” We all got into his car and he drove us to Bonnie’s in silence. Once he stopped outside Bonnie’s house I went to get out when he grabbed hold of my arm.
“Not you, you’re coming with me.”
“No, I’m not.” I pulled out of his grasp. I went to get out of the car.
“Rose, babe, please?” I sighed, I didn’t know what to do for the best. I didn’t want to walk away from him and make things worse, but then I didn’t want to give in to him and for him to think this was ok to do. That he could walk all over me and keep secrets from me.
“Rose? Come here for a second.” Bonnie said from the top of her driveway. I got out of the car and made my way towards her. I looked over my shoulder towards Jacob to see if he drove away, all I saw was a worried expression on his face. Bonnie pulled me close for a hug and said;
“Go and sort things out with him… You love him, Rose, don’t let this come between you.”
“What?” I asked surprised.
“You know as well as I do that you are in love with that man. You need to tell him. He loves you too.”
“How do you know that?”
“I can tell, by the way he looks at you, the way he is protective of you… Go and talk to him. Love you, talk to you tomorrow. If anyone asks, you stayed here.” She winked at me.
“Love you too.” We hugged and she walked off down the driveway and I got back into his car.
“You ok?” He asked, placing his hand on my leg.
“Just drive… I’m tired.”
Ten minutes later we were walking into Jacob’s flat, I was feeling exhausted. I was fed up of feeling the highs and lows, having to sneek around with Jacob and I was definitely fed up of fighting with Amelia. I walked down the hallway and straight to his bedroom. I sat down on the edge of his bed and waited for him. He walked in a couple of minutes later carrying two glasses of water. He knew that I needed water by the bed overnight.
“What are you doing just sitting there? Get into bed.” He told me.
“Don’t you think we should talk first?” He sighed and sat on the bed next to me. “Do you have any idea how much you upset me tonight?”
“You walked away from me, babe.”
“Ugh, I can’t believe you…” I stood up and paced around his room. “You left me there, made me cry, went off to do God knows what with God knows who and now you’re blaming me for walking away from you?”
“I didn’t go off and do anything with anyone… I’m not a cheater, Rose.”
“Then where were you?” I placed my hands on my hips and waited to see what he was going to say.
“You know I can’t tell you, we’ve been over this before… You need to trust me.”
“Trust you? How can I?”
“I’ve not given you any reason not to trust me… I promised I will tell you everything and I will, just not yet… Please Rose, come and sit down?” He held out his hand for me and I stood firm on staying where I was.
“We can’t go on like this.” I told him.
“Oh, for the love of God woman, I told you I would tell you and I will. Soon. I promise” He growled. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I pulled it out to see a text from Bonnie.

“Oh, I forgot about that.” I mumbled to myself.
“Forgot about what?” Jacob asked, as I pressed play on the video. There was a lot of background noise and all I could see was Amelia talking to some guy, they were touching and then she walked away.
“That’s Dean, he’s not a nice guy to be socialising with. Pla
y it again so I can see.” I didn’t realise that Jacob had got up and was now standing behind me watching the video over my shoulder. I pressed play again and when it stopped Jacob turned to me and said. “He’s a drug dealer, Rose. He was giving her something… That’s what that was.”
“Oh my God, what has she got herself into? What am I going to do?” I flopped down onto the bed and lay back.
“Well first of all, you are gonna save that video and send it to both me and Bonnie.”
“What? Why?” I asked, sitting up again.
“We may need that video if Amelia doesn’t stop with the way she is treating you, it’s always good to have back-up copies. Do it, Rose.” I nodded as I pressed the send button to send it to Jacob and Bonnie. “Now, I’ve put all your clothes in that drawer and your toothbrush and all your girlie shit is in my bathroom. Go and get ready for bed.” He told me as he pulled his t-shirt off. I got up and walked to the bathroom to sort myself out.
A few minutes later after I’d had a quick shower, I walked out with a towel wrapped around me and went to get some pjs out of my drawer. That was all new to me; normally all my stuff was just kept in my bag. It was really sweet of him to move me into his room properly. I dropped the towel as I slipped on my bed shorts and t-shirt.
“Mmm, sexy.” I heard Jacob say. I turned around, placed my towel over the back of his chair and walked towards him. He pulled back the duvet and I had to climb over him to get across to my side, which was next to the wall. He grabbed hold of me as I attempted to clamber over him; trying to get me to straddle him. “Stay right there baby.”
“No, Jacob, we are not having sex.” I told him as I climbed off of him and got myself comfy beside him.
“Why not?” He asked as he hovered above me. Kissing down my neck.
“Because I am on my period.” I pushed at his chest to get him to move.
“So?” He tilted my head and kissed me deeply, I pulled back from the kiss as I could feel him getting hard.
“So? It’s messy and… I don’t feel comfortable.” He sighed and flopped down beside me. “I’m sorry… I can sort you out if you want?” I nodded towards his erection.
