I walk up to him drop my things on the floor and sling my arm around his neck. “You made the start of a perfect day the end of a perfect day, to what was almost a perfect day.” Pulling me tight in his arms, he kisses me lifting me off my feet. Stroking down the side of my face with soft rose petals. My lips open to him tasting the sweetness and heat of what started this morning with the promise to be finished tonight.
His tongue retreats leaving me to pull forward after him. He quickly evades me by turning his head into my neck. Licking a tingling wet trail over my jaw to my ear, leaving me wanting more in my fog of tiredness. “What would have made it perfect in its entirety?” he says.
“You, making love to me all day.”
“I see how that could work.” He nuzzles the side of my face making me giggle. What is this man doing to me, I’m giggling. “It would have been a perfect end to a perfect day. We’ll make up for it tonight.” He bites down on the side of my shoulder sending a stray shock of electricity to my chest with anticipation.
I take my rose from his hand and he puts me down with ease. I push the key in the door and he holds my hand lifting my face. I smile up at him and he kisses me on the lips asking, “What’s wrong?”
No use lying. I look about as good as a worn-out saddle at a side show rodeo. “I’m a little tired, but I’m fine. Much better seeing you standing here. Come, let’s go make some memories neither one of us will forget.”
Not so fast, he turns the key in the lock for me. Gathers up my things and puts his hand around my waist walking me backwards. “We’re going to make memories but there going to be a little different.”
“How-” He silences me with another kiss, locking the door and throwing my things on the sofa. He sweeps me up in his arms making me catch my breath. “What are-”
“Shh...” He kisses me again effectively silencing me. “I want you to close your pretty talented mouth. Let me take care of you. You need a man to take care of your needs. That’s what I’m here for. You took care of me last night, now it’s time for me to take care of you and your needs. Let me.”
Straight to my quivering heart. I don’t do tears, breathe. “Yes.”
Laying me on the sofa he goes to the bathroom filling up my bathtub with water. After a few minutes, I smell the fragrant scent of bath salts and steam coming through the room. I inhale deeply feeling relaxed already. I decide to help things move along faster by taking off my clothes waiting for him to come back for me.
“You couldn’t follow directions, could you?” he says. “I thought I told you not to move. Stop doing my job or I’m going to be forced to spank you for being a bad girl.”
“I never said I was good. We both know I’m a bad girl at heart.”
“I know you are. I’ve been missing out but take heed, you’ll soon learn I can be equally as bad and good for the both of us.” He stares at me almost as if it’s a warning. He scoops me up in his arms carrying me, placing me in the tub. My god, it feels like heaven. My body has been taken over by pure bliss.
I close my eyes letting the aroma and the relaxing scent swirl around me heating my aching muscles. While he takes his time gently stroking the washcloth over every intimate inch and corner of my body with the tenderness of a newborn baby being washed so delicately I barely feel his touch.
Over my collarbone, down between the valley of my breast, traveling down the path to the place where pleasure and joy meet to create life, insatiable desire dripping with ripe need, brings forth unimaginable rapture.
His bare hands touch me without a barrier of protection, heightening my awareness of hands that are not mine, roaming my body. Worshipping me between my thighs and delicate folds begging for more attention, slick, yielding, wanting and ready. His lips brush against my temple as light as the touch of butterfly wings, warm breaths across my face. My head slides back as my legs are pulled up, falling apart inner muscles contracting. My hand slides in the water between my legs covering his as his fingers slide into me. A welcome invasion to my body. I lose my breath at the smooth enter and retreat. The hard yet soft rock of the heel of his hand against my mound brings me to fulfillment. I lose myself in the harsh caress of his hand and his kiss. “Chris.”
He kisses my temple as I come back from the sheer bliss of an orgasm which has my limbs and body as relaxed as the wash rag long replaced by his hand. “How do you feel?”
“Too good. You were exactly what I needed. Thank you.”
You can thank me in the morning when you get a full night’s rest. Do you want me to make you something to eat while you’re in here a little longer?”
“No, thank you. I ate before I came home.”
“I’ll be back in a few minutes. Relax.
I drift off and when I wake up he helps me out. Which was not as relaxing as the bath. Every area he helped me dry he kissed as he went along. By the end, I was so turned on with his fingers accidentally touching and slipping into places they shouldn’t I was in need of another release. Which he happily obliged. By the end, he was in desperate need of relaxation.
Commendably, he stayed strong, refusing to let me help him find his release. He’s going to get the best wakeup call of his life in the morning. My selfless hero.
Ava
“Yours is the second most talented mouth in this room.” I lay back satiated. No underwear, tugging down my sleep shirt. One night and he knows how to work my body into complete relaxation. “Tell me what motivates you besides the obvious, fabulous me, of course.”
“Yes,” he says laughing, my head resting against his chest, “Fabulous you as always.” I press down on his flesh between my teeth. He does a half grunt half moan. It sounds so sexy I can’t help but snuggle closer to him. “Touch and taste is very important t-”
“What do I taste like?” I interrupt him pressing my lips to his skin and licking.
“Stop interrupting and let me answer your question, impatient woman. You taste like warm morning dew melting in my mouth. Dropping onto my tongue pleasantly piquant and sweet, lemon meringue pie, delicious. To prove his point, he kisses me pulling my chin down opening me wider for him. “How do you taste?” he asks.
“Delicious, like lemon meringue.”
He’s acquainting me with his favorite dessert.
I raise my head to see him. His lips twitch into a smile. I smile moving my body up to be closer to him, resting my head on his should listening to the steady thud of his heart. I’m happy knowing I’m one of his new favorite desserts, I love the way he eats it.
He soothes me stroking his hand from the crown of my head through my hair, down to the middle of my back where he stops, repeating the same movements. Draining the remaining stress and tiredness away. He’s unexpected and wonderful. The thought rears its head again, will it last?
I can’t believe I’m second guessing myself on this. When did I become so damn insecure? I know for sure we are totally compatible in the bedroom. What about out? Can the heat and sparks we have spill over into our every day lives melding together as a solid lasting couple? I’m more than willing to try, no-, to make it happen. But is he when our personalities clash? All things I should have admittedly thought about and worked on before I started my get Chris at almost any cost campaign.
All things I can figure out.
“How was your day really?” I murmur wanting to hear about him.
“It was good. I couldn’t stop thinking about you. And what an amazing time I had with you. So far, being with you is different from what I expected. I’m loving every minute.”
“What man wouldn’t?” I tease. The true test is what happens outside these four walls. “Can you handle me, Chris?”
“I thought I proved I can already. Ava, don’t worry about what’s to come, just go with the flow. I’ll try my best not to hurt your heart. I’ll let you know if or when you’re becoming too much for me. I always give a warning first.”
It’s like waiting for the other shoe to drop because you know it will at so
me point. I’ll make sure to look for the warning signs. Maybe restraining myself a little wouldn’t be so bad. I’ll try and see how it goes. This is one relationship I want to last forever.
My phone rings and I remember Cat. “I’m going to get it. It’s in my purse.”
“Relax, woman, I’ll bring it to you.” He leaves coming back with my bag and my purse still locked inside.
“I thought you were going to go into my bag and bring it to me. It was implied, when I agreed for you to get it.”
He presses his knee into the bed on his spot shoving my bag at me. “You’re right, it was implied but it wasn’t confirmed. What you will learn about me, Ava is I respect your privacy and your property. It would be like you going through my phone without me knowing. No.” What would he be afraid I’ll find? Maybe a message from Sage? I’m all for the open-door policy in terms of privacy in my relationships. He’ll learn.
“Well for the record I have nothing to hide, you’re allowed. Take my phone out and tell me who called. That’s a direct order.”
Smirking, he tugs on a lock of my hair. “There goes that bossy streak. That’s going to take some adjusting to.”
I slide my hand across the bed up his thigh. “You know you love it.”
Ignoring me he pulls out my phone. “You have three missed calls, two from a Ben and one from Phillip.” I notice his forehead creases slightly.
“They’re friends who might be interested in being more.” I erase them before he gets the wrong idea of who they are to me.
“Might?” he repeats bringing his eyes to me.
“We’ve only talked over the phone a few times.”
“They’re interested, Ava.”
“Too bad for them, I’m officially taken?”
“Yes. You are off the market. Please inform them and all your other suitors.”
I love it! The possessiveness of it all.
“My sister also called.” As he says it, my phone rings in his hand. Turning the screen to me a broad smile stretches across his face. “Cat.”
Sitting up fully I tell him to answer it, “She’ll get a kick out of this.”
“You do like to have fun catching people of guard, don’t you?” He scratches the back of his head putting the phone to his ears with a shy, “Hey, sis. No. You do have the right number. She’s not sick. I’m taking care of her, making her feel really good.” I laugh imagining her face during this exchange of words between them.
He pulls the phone away from his ears when an ear-splitting scream blares through the phone and Cat yells, “That bitch, why didn’t she tell me!”
“That’s for you.” He shoves the phone towards me getting the offending noise far away from his ears.
“Stop!” I yell into the receiver before putting it to my ear. In a lighter tone in my best British accent a la Adele, I say, “Hello. No, wait it should be, He-lo.” Nothing. “Come on Cat, I’m giving you my best Adele. You love this song sing it with me off key, He-lo from the other side.”
Chris lays back next to me shaking his head smiling.
“Cut the crap, Ava we can do a duet later.”
Well, excuse me, someone’s panties are in a bunch.
“You’ve been dating my brother and didn’t tell me?”
“Of course not,” I say indignantly. “It was one date.”
“Was he your date? The serial killer? Oh my god!” She burst out with another ear-splitting scream causing me to cringe.
“Keep on screaming, I’ll go deaf before I get a chance to answer any of your questions.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. Your godson and Nick are watching me like I’m crazy.” She tells them she’s excited about the great news she’s getting. In the background, I can hear Nick say, “Just be careful, don’t mess around and get knocked up until you know it’ll last.” I hear Cat chastising him telling him, “Be quiet.”
“Exactly,” I say. “Tell him to mind his own business.” If Cat couldn’t hear me, I would tell him he’s the last person who should talk about getting knocked up on a one night stand.
Excited and bubbly she says, “I’m so happy you’re together, finally. I knew it was going to happen, didn’t I tell you? I told you I had a feeling.”
I smile looking at Chris watching me enjoying the conversation he can clearly hear from both of us. He projects his voice so Cat can hear him. “You know so much you should have told me.”
I put her on speaker seeing as we are already having a three-way conversation. “I did tell you, you dope. You wouldn’t listen to me. Just because I’m your little sister doesn’t mean I don’t know things, too. Next time listen to me. This is more than a hooking up, right? Don’t make me go ninja on your ass, Chris?”
I listen intently awaiting his answer. Saying it to me and voicing it out loud to his family means we’re legit.
“This is more than a hook up, Cat.”
I bite down on my lip trying to tame down the giddy excitement at his admission. He puts his hand between my legs squeezing my inner thigh and I lean over kissing him all smiles.
“I hear smooches.” She says, “I love you guys but I don’t want to hear wet smacks when I’m in earshot of you. I’m going to call you tomorrow, Ava. We’ll talk and you’ll tell me only stuff I want to hear. Chris, Mom is going to be excited. She liked Sage, so did I, but she really likes you Ava...Unfortunately for you, Kate doesn’t. Anyway, this news has made my night. Tomorrow.”
She ends the call and I pull back from the kiss thinking about what she said about Kate. We have never been friends and I’m sure we never will be. That’s fine with me.
“It would make my year to see Kate’s face when you tell her we’re dating and I’m your plus one to dinner from now on.”
“Ava, leave my sister alone.”
“Don’t be a killjoy, Chris.”
“She’s trying to change. I think you should try and change the dynamics of your ax wielding, whatever you have going on with her.”
“Oh, come on.” I roll my eyes. “You know as well as I do she’ll be the first one throwing a jab at me across the dinner table which would then cause me to knock her the fuck out.”
“Put the fists away, Sugar Ray. You’re going to have to try to get along with my sister. Make an effort. If you’ll try, she’ll try.
He’s talking, but I’m not really understanding what he’s saying. This talk about Kate is souring my good mood. I do not want this to be our first major fight, but it might. “When has that ever happened, Chris?”
“All I’m asking is for you to try. In turn I’ll have a talk with her also to keep the peace for my sanity. At least when you’re in the same room with me. How about that? A little sanity, less stress for me. I don’t need to constantly play referee. It would mean a lot to me.” He nuzzles into my neck brushing his lips against the pulse point at my throat.
God, that feels good. I feel myself losing the fight. This is one I can forfeit. “I guess I can agree to that but as soon as she starts I’m going all in on her ass.” I take his face in my hands so he knows I’m serious.
“I know you will.”
“You can’t take sides,” I warn. “Or I’m going to kick your ass, too.”
He levels me with a quirk of his brow at my warning. “Already with the threats?”
“What are you going to do about it?” I challenge.
“You’ve been warned.” With an ominous glare my heart rate ticks up as he jumps on top of me, pinning me down with his powerful body. “I’m going to teach you a lesson. Show you how I deal with bad girls.”
My mouth goes dry. He brings my arms above my head, rendering me immobile. My breasts strain against the thin material of my tank outlining my aroused hardening nipples.
“Your body is a work of art,” he says. “If this was another night, I would fuck you into oblivion to shut your smart-ass mouth up. That, we’re going to work on when we’re in here.”
He wasn’t lying when he said he was going to teach me a lesson
. Who knew being soaking wet and licked with my hands tied above my head could feel so decadently good, shaking me to the core. I got what I wanted and I was incoherently happy sleeping soundly in his arms after he made me come twice more.
Then I woke up alone. His voice comes through the crack in the door low and muffled. I knew where he was. Leaving me alone to take another late night call from his ex. After an amazing night of talking and making love. I hope this isn’t a habit. This would be my deal breaker. I won’t play second to anyone, especially his ex.
Twenty minutes later he comes back. I can’t hold it in any longer. “Does she know you’re seeing me, it’s my bed you’re leaving to talk to her?”
“I thought you were sleeping.”
“You were wrong. Does she know you’re with me?”
“She knows I’m with someone.” He lays next to me stroking my hair. “I was telling her just now. She’s not taking it well. I didn’t want to make it worse by telling her I was with you.”
Of course not. Wouldn’t want to upset her delicate constitution. I sigh brushing his hand away from me. I’m trying not to lose my cool. I know the break up wasn’t too long ago and when they were together they went through something traumatic. And I know I wasn’t totally innocent in their break-up. I don’t want to be a total bitch about this but I’m not happy.
“Ava, don’t be like this. We had a great night together. Let’s not ruin it by arguing. Sage and I are over. I’ll tell her it’s you. Let me do it on my own time. I’ve hurt her and I’m trying to do as little damage as possible. I’ll tell her.” I push his hand away when he tries to stroke my hair again. He ignores me holding my hand kissing each of my fingers. “Give me a little time. I’ll tell her.” He releases my hand stroking my hair.
“I’m not for these late night calls, Chris.”
