BY CHANCE NOT CHOICE: Marco's Choice - Moretti Brothers Series Book Two Page 2

She halted her progress as she placed her hand on his arm causing him to do the same. “Wait… Yamada, as in a relative to Mr. Yoshi Yamada, as in CEO of Takahashi Enterprise?” He looked into her eyes. “Yes, it’s my uncle’s company,” he said in a dark stern tone. Monica looked at him; she could recognize a distain tone when she heard one because she had been the receiver of that tone too many times. She looked at him deciding it was not her business. She was here for only three weeks then she would be back in the states with her man. She instantly smiled as she thought about Marco; she needed to call him as soon as she got to the hotel. She missed him already.

Takeo’s sexy voice brought her out of her thoughts. “Would you like to stop anywhere before going to the hotel?” Takeo asked as he helped her into the car.

“No I’m anxious to get to my hotel, I have to prepare for tomorrow and…”

“Well I hope you allow me to give you a tour of Tokyo before you leave; it is a beautiful city.”

“I would like that after my business here is concluded. I am still confused as to how I was chosen to make the presentation for our company. I was told that they asked for me specifically.” He looked at her.

“You are obviously better than you give yourself credit for,” he said with a slight smile.

They pulled up in front of the Takahashi Towers and parked. He took her luggage and walked towards the lobby. “Wait, this is not the place where my room is booked…”

“I know, that’s all been taken care of; you are in the penthouse suite.” Takeo said with a smile.

“I’m sure my company is not going to cover the cost for that, I booked….”

He interrupted her again, “It’s all been taken care of by Takahashi Enterprise. We want you to enjoy your stay with us.”

“That is very kind of you but that wasn’t necessary; my company has a made all the arrangements for my stay,” she said.

“My uncle insisted that we make your stay as enjoyable as possible and it is our pleasure.” Monica started to insist on using the room her company set up but decided not to insult a potential client. “Well thank you very much for your hospitality.” Takeo opened the door to the suite and Monica was amazed; the suite was double the size of her home. It was absolutely beautiful. Takeo said goodbye to her as he closed the door behind him. As he approached the elevator the doors opened and he reached for his phone and he immediately dialed her. “Are you alone? Good, I’m on my way over.” Takeo needed to meet with his best friend and business partner Suri Fukui, before returning to Kiyomi. The two men talked exchanged information and Takeo was back in his car heading to Kiyomi’s condominium.

Takeo sped down the Shuto Expressway thinking about the woman he loved and how their plan needed to work or they both could be killed. His uncle, Yoshi Yamada, would stop at nothing to regain control of Takahashi Enterprise, even if that included eliminating all obstacles in his way. Takeo’s disdain for his uncle started at a young age. His father, Taro Yamada, was Yoshi’s older brother. For as long as he could remember, his uncle treated his family as if they were beneath him. His father, Taro was always stronger and more skilled than Yoshi. While in the military, Taro was a part of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force’s counter-terrorist unit long before the world knew of their existence. He was the best at hand-to-hand combat and assault rifles; he could take out a target 3000 feet away without alarming the people around the target. However, in the end, Taro fell in love, got married and chose to live a simple life as a farmer, leaving all the violence behind him. Although Takeo grew up as a farmer’s son, he was always faster and stronger than all the other children in his village and knew he wanted more than farming. Recognizing his son’s strength and ability, Taro allowed his son to move with his brother so he could get an education and choose the type of life he wanted. While he was happy as a farmer, he told Takeo he would have to choose his own destiny and moving in with his uncle would open up a world of options.

From the moment Takeo moved in with his uncle, there was an ongoing competition between Takeo and Jun, Yoshi’s son. His uncle would make them compete on every level, always making sure that his son was equipped with everything he needed to win. Takeo was handed inferior materials and hand-me-downs, but always won. He was always smarter, faster and stronger than Jun. As a result, Jun had so much animosity built up for his cousin that they could no longer remain friends. Thinking about Jun saddened Takeo because they were so close as children, like brothers, but jealousy has a way of changing people. Takeo had proven himself time and time again that he was worthy of a high position at Takahashi, but his uncle was only willing to elevate him to head of security at the company. Takeo decided to start his own security firm, which was in the beginning stage. He now needed to rethink his plan to include the possibility of starting over in the United States. Now that the love of his life was pregnant, he knew the best place for them was to be as far away from Tokyo as they could get. He had made some good investments and could now afford to move her to the United States but they needed to make sure that her life would not be in danger if they did.

Takeo pulled into the underground garage and headed up to her high-rise condominium in Takahashi Towers. He entered through her private elevator and walked through the lavish living space into the bedroom. The beautiful woman turned to see the man she loved with all her heart walk into her bedroom. She rose from the bed and jumped into Takeo’s arms as she kissed him on the lips. “So what was she like? Did she seem nice? Do you think she suspects anything?” Kiyomi said in Japanese. Takeo cupped her face with his hands and returned her kiss. “Shhh, Kiyomi we have to be very careful about what we say and how we react. Our every movement is being monitored. We have to make sure that everything goes as planned, there is too much at stake,” he said as he softly kissed her again and rubbed her stomach. Kiyomi felt a warm sensation throughout her body. She loved this man and she was going to do what she needed to do to be with him.

Kiyomi grabbed Takeo’s hand as he began to kiss it softly. “Stay with me tonight, I need to feel you beside me,” she now said in English. “You know I can’t do that baby; we are being watched. If I stay in here longer than it takes to secure your apartment, he may start to suspect something. Soon Kiyomi, we will be together.” He kissed her again, this time more passionately then the first. He could feel his manhood rising and he backed away. “We need to be very careful especially over the next month if we want to succeed. Get back in bed and I will check the apartment before locking up.” He kissed her softly before walking out of the room. As head of security with Takahashi Enterprise, Ken Sato, Kiyomi’s father, the silent partner and majority shareholder for Takahashi Enterprise, asked him to watch over his daughter and make sure she was safe at all times. Takeo never imagined he would fall in love with her. Now her father was dying and they had to develop a plan to get Kiyomi out of the country safely before her father passed away. He knew his uncle was trying to convince Kiyomi’s father, who was also his best friend and business partner, to arrange a marriage between his son Jun and Kiyomi. Takeo would die before he let that happen. Their plan had to work.

Kiyomi laid back down looking smaller than her five feet five stature as she curled up to her pillow that would have to take the place of Takeo. Her light colored caramel complexion was a beautiful contrast against her lover, Takeo. She worked out regularly and was in great shape. She was surprised that her clothes were starting to fit a little snug, only after seven weeks into the pregnancy. Kiyomi thought back to the moment the doctor confirmed what she already knew that she was carrying Takeo‘s baby. They talked about children, realizing that they were not getting any younger, and they decided to wait a year until Takeo was no longer working for Takahashi and they planned to marry. She found out that her father was dying, and shortly after that, about a twin sister she never knew existed; it sent her life into a tailspin. She gathered all the information she could get on her twin sister. She remembered the night that she was so excited
about getting the final report from the private investigators; they went out to celebrate, drank too much and came to her place. Kiyomi thought back to that night…

Takeo walked her to her apartment as he had so many times before. She smiled at him as he opened her door. She could feel the heat from his stare. His sexy dark eyes became darker as he closed the door behind her. “Wait here,” he said in Japanese as he checked the entire apartment like he had every night since the break in. He had her apartment like a fortress but still he checked. He walked back into the living room where she stayed until he gave her the all clear. She walked over to the bar to make both of them a drink. His eyes continued to bare down on her as he prepared the drinks. Unable to resist touching her, he came up behind her, wrapped his arms around her waist, and began to place soft delicate kisses on her neck. She instantly felt the heat rise in her body. She placed both hands covering his as they lay gently around her waist. “What about….” “Don’t worry about the cameras, I took care of them.” The cameras were installed for her protection in the common area of the apartment but not in the bedroom or bathroom. He spun her around, pressing her body against the bar as he cupped her face with his hands kissing her rough but passionately. Before she could think his tongue invaded her mouth coaxing her tongue to meet his. She willingly gave in as their tongues danced between their mouths. She could feel his hardness pressing firmly against her stomach. “I want you so badly,” he said in Japanese. She looked at him with hooded eyes. “Take me,” she responded. He moaned loudly as he released her face and grabbed her by her waist and sat her in the bar. As he continued to kiss her he ran his hands along her thighs and he took the hem of the form fitting skirt until he reached her heat. She squirmed as his fingers lightly brushed her lace panties but didn’t break the connection with his lips. He used his fingers to move the lace to the side sliding his finger into her pussy and he used his thumb to rub her clit. She moaned softly as her body began to tingle all over; he withdrew his fingers and licked her wetness off them. He reached under her skirt for the waist of her panties sliding them down her hips and off her legs. He knelt in front of her pulling her legs over his shoulders and he pulled her forward until his mouth was at her heat. He inhaled deeply loving her scent. The feel of his warm breath against her skin set her body ablaze. He slowly ran his tongue over the crease in her lips. Her wetness coated his tongue causing his dick to get so hard it hurt. He gripped her hips pulling her closer as his tongue pushed into her heat and he began to fuck her with his tongue. He could feel her body tensing up, he knew she was close. He wrapped his lips around her clit as he used his fingers to continue to fuck her. Takeo could feel her clinching around his fingers as she yelled his name. He needed to be inside her now; his dick was throbbing. He lifted her off the bar and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he backed her against a wall and began to passionately kiss her. She could hear him unzipping his pants as they dropped to the floor along with his boxers. “I need to be inside you now,” he said breathless. “Take me Takeo please,” “Ahhh,” she moaned from the intense pressure of feeling him inside her from one hard thrust. He was unrelenting with every thrust. The feel of the orgasm that ran through her body was so intense that she was unable to hold the weight of her legs that were wrapped around Takeo’s waist. He stepped out of the pants that pooled at his feet and carried Kiyomi to the bedroom without breaking their connection. She could feel him throbbing inside her as they made their way to the bedroom. He broke the connection as he laid her in the bed. She instantly felt the loss, but not for long because he used his firm thighs to nudge her shaky legs apart and he was back inside her. He moved slowly in and out of her, teasing her senses until she couldn’t take it any longer “Please baby harder,” she pleaded and he complied pumping into her faster and harder until he could no longer hold on and shot his seed deep into her womb. Feeling the warm liquid strays became her undoing and she came hard again. They both laid there allowing the dark silence to take them over as they drifted off to sleep.

She shuddered at the thoughts of that night and their lovemaking. It was like their bodies, hearts, minds and souls were created for each other. She drifted off to sleep with Takeo on her mind.

  CHAPTER THREE

Monica showered and changed for bed and placed her computer on her lap. She and Marco had decided to Skype each other as often as they could while she was away. She logged in and waited for him to answer. “Hello beautiful,” Marco said in a strong sensual tone. “How was your flight?” “It was exhausting but Takahashi Enterprise set me up in a beautiful suite. I wish you were here baby, this place is unbelievable.” She paused, “I miss you already.”

“I miss you too, but you will be home in three weeks and we will make up for all the time we missed.”

“I can’t wait,” she said with a seductive smile. He looked at his watch remembering that Japan was thirteen hours ahead of his time. “Get some rest babe, we will talk later.” “I will and you have a great day, baby.” Monica disconnected and put the computer to the side. She slid down into the king-sized bed and before she knew it she was fast asleep.

[“It looks like she’s done for the evening. How do you want to proceed?” asked the man watching the monitors that showed every room in the suite they had given to Monica. “This is a 24-hour surveillance of her until she leaves. Keep on only the camera used to monitor Ms. Thomas.” “Will do.” The man turned off all the monitors. The cameras were only in the common areas but the audio was recording in the bedroom where she slept.]

The next morning Monica showered and dressed early; she wanted to be ready when the car arrived to transport her to Takahashi Enterprise. She was meeting with the account executives and had to prepare for her presentations. As the car pulled up, Monica got out and looked at the high-rise building. She was not prepared for the magnitude of the structure. As she approached the huge glass doors, there was a young woman there to greet her. “Welcome Ms. Thomas. My name is Lin and I will be your assistant while you are here; right this way,” she smiled and motioned with her hand as she ushered Monica to the elevator. They got off on the 40th floor. “Right this way Ms. Thomas. We have an office set up for you. If there is anything that you require, just let me know and I will provide it. I will give you a few minutes to get settled and then I will give you a tour of the office.” She bowed as she stepped to the side and let Monica walk into the office.

Monica looked around and she could not believe they were giving her such a huge, beautiful space even if it was only for three weeks. She placed her belongings on the beautiful mahogany desk and walked over to the window to admire the view. She was startled by a knock at the door. “Come in.” She walked over to the desk and the door opened to reveal Takeo. “I hope you find your temporary office suitable,” Takeo said as he walked over and sat in the chair in front of the desk. “Yes, thank you Takeo, this space is amazing but it’s too much. I don’t need such a large work area.”

“Mr. Yamada wants your stay to be as comfortable as possible.”

“Please be sure to thank him for his generosity,” she responded. She sat at the desk, “so what is your role here Takeo, I mean what do you do?”

He looked at her with a slight smirk. “I head a security team for Takahashi Enterprises. Part of my duties while you are here is to make sure that you’re taken care of.”

Monica looked at him with a puzzled expression. “I don’t think I need security while I’m here.” Takeo stood. “We just want to make sure that your stay with us is pleasant and that you have no difficulties maneuvering around the city.” He reached in his pocket and pulled out a business card. “Here is my work number and personal cell; if you have any problems please give me a call.”

Monica looked down at the card and placed it in her jacket pocket. “Thank you Takeo. If I have any problems I will be sure to call you.”

Takeo stood, prompting her to stand also. He looked her in her eyes and bowed before exiting the office. Monica sat ba
ck down at the desk trying to take in everything that happened since she landed in Tokyo. Everything was so surreal and unexpected, she couldn’t wait to call Marco and tell him everything that happened thus far. She wondered what Marco was doing at that very moment. She loved him so much but wondered how long it would take before he becomes bored with her. Monica pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind as she worked on her presentation. It was important that she represented her company well so that they would get the contract with Takahashi Enterprises.

Takeo exited the office and reached for his cell phone, looking around first to make sure that no one was watching and he dialed Kiyomi. “Yes, she is settled. Now we need to make sure that we follow our plan exactly. A car should be there to pick you up in 10 minutes.” He disconnected the call and headed to Yoshio Yamada’s office. Takeo approached the office and was stopped by the huge security guard at the door. Takeo nodded and raised his hands so that the security guard could search him. They both quickly bowed simultaneously and spoke briefly in Japanese before Takeo knocked and entered the office. Yoshio Yamada was an older Japanese man who was extremely paranoid about his safety so Takeo implemented the policy that everyone, including himself, would be searched before entering the office. Takeo stood by the door and waited for his uncle to acknowledge him. Once he looked up from his desk and saw Takeo standing there he dismissively waved him over to have a seat in front of his desk.
