Lindzee Armstrong is the #1 best-selling author of the No Match for Love series and Sunset Plains Romance series. In case it wasn’t obvious, she’s always had a soft spot for love stories. In third grade, she started secretly reading romance novels, hiding the covers so no one would know (because hello, embarrassing!), and dreaming of her own Prince Charming.

Lindzee finally met her true love while at college, where she graduated with a bachelor’s in history education. They are now happily married and raising twin boys in the Rocky Mountains.

Like any true romantic, Lindzee loves chick flicks, ice cream, and chocolate. She believes in sigh-worthy kisses and happily ever afters, and loves expressing that through her writing.

There are so many people who have made this book possible. I happened upon the idea for Chasing Someday at the most inconvenient time possible. I was a new mother to twin boys, sleep-deprived and exhausted. But the idea wouldn’t leave me alone, and I knew I had to write it down. The wounds of infertility were still fresh, barely healed from the birth of my sons. It was cathartic to write this book. I had battled infertility and survived. I wanted other women to feel the hope I felt.

So I wrote the book. And I edited the book. And I published the book in a small niche market. It had scarcely been out a year when I felt a nudge to pull it from publication, send it through another round of edits, and republish it on a wider scale. I fought that urge for more than six months before giving in. I didn’t want to return to this book. It’s such a big part of my heart, but so hard for me to work on. I have personal experience with almost everything that happens in Chasing Someday, and the memories are raw and painful. But I fought through the pain, because I believe there are woman who need to read this book as much as I needed to write it.

This book never would’ve happened without the support of my sweet husband, Neil. He cheers me on every step of the way and constantly reassures me that the time I spend writing is worth it.

To Liz, my accountability partner. If not for her, I would’ve given up on this book a long time ago.

To my critique group, The Authorities—Darren, LaChelle, David, and Jacob. The book would’ve been a complete disaster without them (and it was).

To all my beta readers. There were many of you! To my friends at iWrite who answered questions and provided encouragement. To Tristi Pinkton, one of my editors, who helped me in so many ways, but especially by convincing me to change the entire book from first person to third.

To my parents, especially my mother. They don’t understand my burning desire to write, but they wholeheartedly support it anyway. They never doubted that one day I’d be published.

And to all my sisters in the Land of IF. I thought about you every time I wrote this book. I cried for you, ached for you, and rejoiced with you. So many of you shared your stories with me so that I could make this book better. Keep chasing your someday!
