I smile every time I see her laugh at their conversation. I can’t keep my eyes off her sexy legs. I'm normally an ass man, but maybe it's time to be a leg man instead. She gets up, grabbing everything off the table and bends over to grab her bag off the floor. I admire her ass. I can be an ass man and a leg man. I see my brother and Cassie walking over to her.
Grabbing my coffee, I move to the other table out of sight from them and just wait. Even though I was moaning, I have to admit Emma knows what she is talking about when it comes to weddings. The pictures are going to be stunning when the sun sets, and I can already tell she will put all her time and effort into this wedding.
"I thought you were on the beach?" Neil sits on the chair in front of me.
"I am on the beach. I haven't spoken to her, I promise," I tell him. I know this wedding is more important than me getting laid, so I won't fuck it up.
"Ocean, I know you. You won't fuck up my day, and you hate it when people are angry with you. You are just one of those people. If you think you can keep the two separate, then fine, but she might not," he tells me. I look over my shoulder to see that she's not there. "She’s taken Cassie to look at the rooms for the guests."
“I won’t fuck your wedding up, family is always more important…”
“I know it is, and I’ve never seen you stalk a girl before either, so what is it about her?” He looks at his phone as it beeps.
“She threatened to punch me in the face,” I say through laughter still remembering that night in my head.
"She really doesn't look like the type to be threatening anyone." I tell Neil about what happened in the club, and he's laughing the whole time. "Well maybe she is a little fighter then. Ocean you're a good guy any girl would be lucky to be with so it will be interesting to see this play out." Neil stands up, "I take it your game plan is not telling her that you're my brother straight away."
"Not yet, though that will be a good surprise when you get back and I join you for the meeting," I smile. I can just see the look on her face already.
“Well, I have to go check out the hall, meet you at the airport,” he taps my shoulder as he walks away. I turn back to watch the sea.
I look over and see Emma walking to the side of the decking, and see that Neil and Cassie aren’t following her out.
"Evening. Don't the stars look beautiful?" She turns around, looks at me for a moment, like she is trying to remember who I am. "Little Miss Rambo," I give her a wink.
“The guy from the club and the one I blame for making me fat.”
My eyes roam her body. “You are far from fat. From where I’m standing, you look stunning.” I have to stop myself from smiling as I can see her starting to blush.
“So, do I get a name?” She looks at her phone, then straight back to me. “I was told that when I do see you I have to ask where you got the cake from. I mean we did eat it for our dinner.”
“When you say we, are we talking boyfriend we, or friends?” I ask. I never thought about her having a boyfriend, how can someone this gorgeous still be single?
"We as in friends, my girlfriends," she answers, and I feel a little relieved about it too. "Do I get an answer to one of my questions, and here is another one, are you following me?"
I start laughing. “No, I thought I would get away for a few days with some friends,” I tell her. Now that is not a full lie, my brother is my friend. So, if this conversation ever comes to bite me in the ass in the future, I was telling the truth about coming with a friend.
“So, back to my other questions?”
“Which one do you want to know, my name or where I got the cake from?” Now she seems a little taken. Which one does she really want to know, she goes to say something but stops when she hears Cassie call out her name.
"I will be right back," Emma says and walks over to my brother. As she gets to them, I leave. My brother won't say anything, but Cassie is more than happy to tell her the truth. I have two days for her to like me before I tell her I'm Neil's brother. Giving my brother a nod, I leave to meet them at the airport and smile as I have my next cake idea all set for her.

I got here before Neil and Cassie, they made me wait an hour. I get us all a coffee, as we wait for our flight gate to open, I ask, “So are the two of you happy with this place?”
"Yes, I loved it. Every idea that Emma was giving us was amazing. She wants to talk to us about the color theme when we get back, but I trust her. I think we're going to follow her lead on it," Cassie tells me. She is excited about this. They got engaged about a year ago, they wanted a party then, but so many other things were happening too. Cassie's friends were getting married or they had holidays booked. There was never a weekend free for it, but this time nothing is happening, and they have the date picked out and Emma planning it for them.
“I was thinking about the engagement party. I know the planner is doing it but I thought I could help her, you know being the best man and all.” I keep my eyes on Cassie, already knowing what Neil is going to say to me. The party is in a month, and if Cassie says yes that means a month with Emma, and that is three weeks more than she needs to fall for my charms.
“I think that would be a good idea,” Cassie says, and I look over at Neil and smile from ear to ear. “I’ve told her a few ideas, but I said we would get into more detail when we get back,” Cassie adds.
“Great. I can’t wait to hear them all and get started.” I finish my coffee as our flight is called. Grabbing my bag, Cassie makes her way in front of us.
“Nice move little bro,” Neil pats my back.
“I thought so.” We make our way to the plane, and I start thinking about my next game plan.
Chapter 5
Emma
The moment my head hit the pillow last night I was out, but the first thing I did was tell Tanya and Amie about pretty boy being there. They think he is following me too, which I thought was funny. They moaned for a good thirty minutes about not finding out where the cake was from, then they moaned for another thirty minutes because I didn't get his name.
They wanted to know every detail about him, from his hair color, to his height, to what clothes he was wearing. The answers came out just as quick as the questions did, dreamy amber brown eyes, sexy black hair, tall. I mean I’m five foot four inches, everyone is tall next to me. Casual clothes, jeans and a black shirt, which showed off his flat stomach , and that’s all I could tell them in the five minutes I got to talk to him.
So now the question is when I will hear from him again? I don't know where he works or what his name is, so everything is up to him now. It's out of my hands.
Making my way over to the kitchen to fill my travel cup, I turn the corner and get an eyeful of Ben’s naked body. “Sorry I didn’t see you there,” I say trying very hard not to look at him, but it’s very hard when it's all just hanging there for anyone to look at. I really need to look away from him, but it’s not easy as he starts walking over to me.
“Sorry, I just wanted some water. Tanya said that…. never mind.” Ben walks straight past me like this was a normal thing to do. Tanya’s at work. She just left him here to walk around naked. Before I hear the door shut, I take a quick look at his ass. I mean I’ve seen everything else, might as well check the ass out. It’s one tight ass too.
Filling up my cup, I head to work, with one sexy bare ass in my head. Today my mission is the save the date cards. I showed them three ideas and they picked one. I was explaining themes and how we want the theme to start now and run its way through to the wedding day. Another thing they never thought about. I spoke to Cassie about adding gold to the pink theme, keeping pink as the main color but putting a hint of gold in there, and maybe a few other things. She said that if we did the save the date cards, pink with gold foil writing like my idea, then when she gets back we can talk about the other things I thought of. Today will be getting all the cards ready to mail out and I can tick that off my list. Then get notes and ideas ready for t
he engagement party. I have about a month to plan everything which is nice. A lot of couples want it done in two weeks, which is doable if they want something simple, but no, they want everything from custom made something to an elephant.
I grab my phone out of my bag and send Tanya a quick message about this morning.
Emma - Just got an eye full of your man, lucky you.
Tanya - You now know why I was so happy last night.
Shaking my head, I walk into the office, say morning to Jess and head straight to my office to get these save the date cards started. I think today I will be working through my lunch. I like to hand make as much as I can if I have the time. I think that is one of the reasons a lot of couples love working with me, I put a lot of my time into everything and they can see it. I also need to work on how much I’m spending on everything. Even though I have a budget to throw two weddings and two honeymoons, I don’t want to make this tacky. I want it to read classy, elegant. There is so much to do.
I see a large gold box on my desk. Looks like I get another treat from pretty boy.
I look at the note.
Dear Beautiful,
Meeting you last night under the stars was amazing.
I gave each star a word on how beautiful you are.
I was doing so well until I ran out of stars.
From, Pretty Boy.
As I lift the lid, I smile to myself. I already see the start of the cake and it's got glitter on it. This is the best thing ever, a cake with glitter. Taking my phone out, I take a picture and send it to the girls. I dip my finger into the icing, oh this is good. Looking at my phone, I smile as I see Tanya's name flashing.
"Hello," I say as I put some more icing on my finger.
“Is there no name on the box?”
“Nope, it’s a gold glitter box with a gold ribbon on it,” I tell her as I walk out to the kitchen so that I can get a knife to cut into it.
“Cake, glitter, you need to find this man and marry him,” she shouts down the phone to me. “What did the note say?”
I read out the note to her, and she tells me there is no way he can be a man because men are not that sweet.
"Well at the moment this one seems to be too good to be true," I tell her as I plate myself some cake. "I've just cut a slice of cake, and it's blue, the cake is blue."
"Don't eat it all," she says. I moan as I savor the flavor of this amazing cake.
“What happened to the diet?”
“I can eat cake, then Ben can be my cardio. I will lose it all that way.”
"Well after what Amie and I could hear last night, I'm sure that is true," as the memory of last night’s noises come back to me. Sometimes you can't hear anything, but some nights I hear every sound and my headphones are on. I take a bite of the cake. "Oh my god," I say licking my lips.
“You will be hearing me say that tonight.” Tanya starts laughing.
“I was talking about the cake,” I say. I swear I have never met anyone with a dirty mind like hers.
“We still going out tonight?”
“Yes. I need another night out, my prince might be there,” I say, finishing off the cake.
KNOCK KNOCK
I look up at the door to see Neil popping his head in. "Tan, I will see you later," putting the phone down. "Neil, what do I owe this pleasure? I thought you were out of town, Cassie not with you?" I ask, looking behind him.
“No, she doesn’t know I am here. I had a meeting this morning which ran over, I’m meeting Cassie at the airport,” he sits down on the chair.
"Okay, I haven't finished the card just yet, but they will be done by the time you get back," I tell him, hoping that is not the reason he is here.
“No, I’m not here about them. This might be the only chance I get you alone, so I thought I would come over.”
“How can I help you?” I grab a notepad and pen.
"I want to do something special for her on the wedding day, and she keeps watching these videos on YouTube where the groom performs a show to some songs," he stops, and I can't help but smile at how sweet he is to her. "So I thought I could do a dance to some Britney Spears songs, she loves her."
I begin jotting down some notes so I can work this into the wedding reception. It’s tricky planning it so Cassie doesn’t find out, but I will keep these notes out of the planner so she doesn’t see them.
"And the honeymoon, I told her we will go wherever she wants to go, but I want to surprise her by going to Paris first. Then take her somewhere with a beach. I'm not sure where yet," he says. Nodding my head, I write that down too. Most couples ask me to book that for them too so they don't have to stress over it.
"Are you one hundred per cent sure you want to marry her? I mean I'm single," I say with a smile, as I write down to remind myself to look up a place in Paris for him. "I will have a look around for honeymoon packages. How long do you want to go for?" I ask as I start my computer up.
" I would love two weeks. A week in Paris, then a week wherever Cassie wants to go," he says as I look at him.
"Come on your killing me," I start laughing as I lean back in my chair. "As soon as I have something, I will call you and we can talk through it all."
“Your prince will be here before you know it,” Neil stands up. “We will see you when we get back. I know once the save the date cards are done, it’s the engagement party next. If it’s okay with you, I would like my best man to help out.” He turns around and looks at me waiting for an answer.
"Of course, I love it when friends and family get involved." It’s not a lie, I do like it when they get involved, it works out fantastic, but sometimes I feel like I'm working in hell.
“Great, he will come when we get back then,” Neil leans over and gives me a hug. “See you when we get back.”
“Have a nice time,” I say and get back to work.
I go to reach for the card, to get started, but stop as I start thinking about the engagement party, writing some of the things down which I need to ask them, before I forget about them.
Getting a start on the cards, I know that there is a lot to do and if I can finish them before they get back it would be even better.
* * *
Finishing off after what seemed like the longest day at work, with designing save the date cards, and now looking for honeymoon packages, a night out with the girls is just what I need.
Quickly heading home, I get changed and meet the girls at the bar. I want to have fun tonight. I want to dance. So I thought it was time to put on my new red dress and party. Looking around the club for Tanya and Amie, I’m stopped. I turn around and smile at Ben.
“Over there,” he points to the bar. I follow him over.
Hugging both of them, I give my order to Derek, then get back to the girls.
"You better not have eaten all the cake," Tanya points her finger at me, and I start laughing.
“It’s at homecv” I start moving my hips as The Weeknd starts playing. “Who wants to dance with me?”
“I’m in,” Amie grabs my hand and pulls me to the dance floor, spinning me around. We start dancing, and I can’t remember the last time I laughed and danced like this, it feels good. After the day I’ve had, this is what I needed. As the song comes to an end, I drink the rest of my Prosecco cocktail and we walk back over to the bar.
“Emma, this is for you.” Derek hands me a napkin and I look at him as there is nothing on it. “Open it.” He shakes his head as he walks away from me.
Dear Lady in Red
We meet again, maybe from afar.
The red looks stunning on you.
From, Pretty Boy
I look around to see if I can see him. "Who are you looking for?" Tanya looks around with me, and I pass her the tissue. I hear her scream as she starts to look around.
"I don't even remember what he looks like. I might have seen him like ten times and wouldn't even know it," she says, and I bust out laughing.
Grabbing a napkin , I start writing
Pretty boy,
I must not be stunning. You didn’t dance with me.
Giving it to Derek, as he seems to know where he is. “Don’t bother watching me, I pass it to someone else,” he smiles and gives me a wink before walking away. That still doesn’t stop me watching him .
"I'm going on a hunt," Amie says as she walks past me and follows Derek to see where he's going. My eyes follow her, but I lose her as a guy stands in front of me.
"Hello beautiful, someone stunning as you should not be standing here alone," he leans on the bar, and I roll my eyes at him.
“No thank you,” turning my back on him, as Tanya looks at him.
“He’s hot.”
“Is he still there?” I ask.
“He’s walking away now. What was wrong with him?” Tanya asks.
"Nothing, but pretty boy is better," I tell her, which is true. This guy was good looking. If it was any other time I would have happily danced with him, but at the moment I want to dance with one person.
"I lost the trail," Amie joins us and I can't help but smile as these two, seems like they are on a mission. "Derek, I thought you liked us," I turn around to see him as Amie starts going crazy at him.
“I do, you know I love you girls. He has a plan and who am I to ruin it for him,” he hands me another napkin.
Lady in Red,
Nice to see that you turned my friend away,
I promise we will meet soon.
Pretty boy x
Amie takes the napkin from me and her and Tanya read it. "If he’s playing games, you can play them too," Tanya shouts over the music and looks over at Derek and whispers something in his ear. I try to follow his eyes as he looks away from us and I have no idea what Tanya said to him, but it must be something to have him thinking.
