Jens nodded and took another bite, chewing thoughtfully. “If we both lived in Boston, would you be willing to make the effort to date me?”

  “In a heartbeat.”

“Maybe it’s impossible to think that we could have something, but I want there to be something.”

  “Are you just saying that?”

“No, Elliot, I really am attracted to you, and I like you. Yeah, we need to spend more time together, but I think we could end up with something worth working for.”

  “So where do you live?”

“Right now, I’m in San Francisco.”

  “Really?”

  “Yes. Where are you at?”

Disappointment filled Elliot. They were too far apart. It would never work. “I’m in Atlanta.”

“Wow, not only are we separated by loads of miles, there’s a bit of a time difference there.”

“I knew it was too good to be true.”

Jens reached out and took his hand. “Don’t give up yet. Something could happen.”

  “Do you really think so?”

  “Maybe. If we try.”

They ate the rest of their meal in silence. Elliot wondered if Jens actually meant what he said. Could they have something together? He’d never done a long distance relationship, but he’d heard horror stories from others. Would being in a relationship with Jens be worth the pain, because he knew there’d be pain. Like when he said goodbye on Monday, that would be excruciating.

Jens glanced up and smiled, his teeth flashing between his generous lips. Elliot’s cock twitched, blood rushing south. Yeah, Jens would be worth it.

  CHAPTER FIVE

They spent the day reading, catching up on email, eating a bit, talking about everything under the sun, and kissing a lot. He hadn’t wanted to push Elliot into getting naked again, at least not until bedtime. They were almost out of food and would have to leave in the morning for breakfast. He stared out the window, wondering if the sidewalks would be clear enough to walk on.

Steps sounded behind him. “What are you looking at?” Elliot asked.

He turned and placed one hand on Elliot’s hip, lifting the other to run his thumb over Elliot’s lips.

“Just the snow. I was wondering if we would be able to go out in the morning for food. I didn’t know you’d be here, and we’re almost out.”

“Yeah, I noticed it was a little thin. Maybe I should run to the store now.”

“I don’t think that’s necessary.” He pulled Elliot close, rubbing his nose on Elliot’s neck. “Besides, I need another kiss.”

“You do like kissing,” Elliot said.

  “I like kissing you.”

Their lips slid together, and Jens sucked Elliot’s lower lip into his mouth, tugging gently. They were getting hot and heavy again, and Jens thought about slowing down, but Elliot pressed in, grinding against him. Jens gasped when their dicks rubbed against each other.

“I want you in bed with me.”

Elliot’s words sent a shiver through Jens. He nodded then leaned his forehead against Elliot’s. “What do you want to do?”

“Kissing for sure. Maybe a little grinding, some sucking, if you like.”

  “Would you suck me?”

  “Yes,” Elliot hissed.

Jens tugged at Elliot’s shirt, pulling it over his head and tossing it to the floor. Then he tugged off Elliot’s pants and underwear, stripping him naked. “I like having you naked. Reminds me of the first time I saw you.”

  “So embarrassing.”

“So freaking sexy. I walked in and saw everything, talk about a perfect end to a rather shitty day.”

“I’m glad I could help.” Elliot tugged at his shirt, pulling it up and exposing his nipples. “I like these.” Elliot squeezed Jens’ nipples, giving them a little twist.

  “Ungh, straight to my cock.”

  “You liked that?” Elliot asked.

  “Yeah.”

“We should take this to the bed.”

“I agree,” Jens pushed at his pants, stripping as he went. They tumbled into bed, diving under the covers to escape the chill of the room. Jens caressed Elliot’s chest, stroking over his smooth flesh. The brush of Elliot’s hand over his hip sent shivers through him.

Elliot kissed down his chest, stopping to lick each nipple before going lower, his hands sliding along the side of Jens’ body. He arched up, needing more, but Elliot was taking his own sweet time. Elliot’s tongue played with the skin on Jens’ hips, driving him wild. He squirmed, wishing Elliot would get to the main attraction.

Finally, when he thought he’d go crazy, Elliot ran his tongue over Jens’ dick. He moaned his approval, happy to have the attention where he wanted it most. Elliot licked and sucked, his tongue swirling over the tip before he ran it down the length then back up. When Elliot sucked in one of his balls, Jens cried out.

Jens was trying to be nice, but the exquisite torture Elliot was putting him through had Jens tangling his fingers in Elliot’s hair, tugging gently. Elliot moaned and let Jens’ ball slide from between his lips, but then he did some wicked thing with his tongue that made Jens’ heart stop. He cried out, clenching his fingers before he realized he was probably hurting Elliot.

He couldn’t take much more of their play. He was turned on, his mind reduced to mush, and he was going to come. Elliot wrapped his lips around Jens’ dick and sucked down on him.

“Now,” he cried out, hoping Elliot didn’t pull off. He wanted the warmth of Elliot’s mouth to stay on him forever.

Elliot kept sucking him gently, stroking him with his lips until he couldn’t stand another touch. He tugged at Elliot’s shoulder, pulling him off. The man looked totally cock drunk. His lips were puffy, and his eyes glassy. A bit of cum clung to the corner of his mouth.

“You are so freaking sexy. Fuck, how the hell did I get so lucky?” Jens pushed Elliot to the mattress and kissed his way down Elliot’s body. He ran his nose over Elliot’s cock, enjoying the soft feel of his skin covering his dick. The first lick had Elliot arching up off the bed. Jens loved getting a good blowjob, but he loved giving one, too. He swirled his tongue over the head of Elliot’s dick before sucking him in. He couldn’t go down all the way to the guy’s pubes, but he came close. Jens used every skill and trick he had to give Elliot pleasure. When he slid one finger back over the soft skin between Elliot’s balls and dick, he felt the pulse that signaled the beginning of Elliot’s orgasm.

Hot cum filled his mouth. It was sour but delicious. He swallowed, sucking on Elliot until he begged him to stop.

Jens flopped down on the bed beside Elliot, his heart still thudding fast. “That was—”

  “Amazing.”

“Exactly. How about—” At that exact moment there was a loud bang followed by more noise. They lay still for about a second before the power failed, leaving the room draped in shadows.

“Crap, what was that?” Elliot asked.

“I don’t know, but it sounded kind of like something fell. Something big.”

Above them, the sound of people screaming and running around startled both of them. They jumped up and grabbed their clothes. Jens dressed quickly, but Elliot seemed to be having trouble. He moved to him and helped him get his shirt right side out before going for his shoes and socks. A loud wail, almost like a siren was going off somewhere in the house. They were only in a small room, but it was still part of the house. Jens grabbed his suitcase and bags, tossing all of their toiletries into the bag. He grabbed Elliot’s coat out of the closet just before someone knocked heavily on the door. Elliot had his shoes on, and he ran down the few steps to the door, unlocking the locks then opening it.

“Oh shit, I thought someone was staying here. Get out. There’s a fire. Tree fell. Hurry.”

Jens glanced around and saw his phone on the table. He grabbed for it and stuffed it in his pocket. Elliot came back into the room and took his coat, pulling it on. He grabbed two of their bags as well as his suitcase before dashing out the
door. Jens was right behind him, grabbing his coat on the way out. They ran around to the front of the house, staring up at the smoke and fire with the rest of the neighbors.

  “What happened?” Elliot asked.

“That limb fell, knocking into the house. There was a gas line up there that fed into a fireplace. The limb took off a huge chunk of the house, breaking the gas line. We’re lucky it didn’t blow. Luckily the builder put in a shutoff valve, but the curtains caught.”

“Was your family up there?” Jens asked.

“Yeah, we’re all safe. My wife took the kids to the neighbor’s house. We’re lucky they weren’t playing in the den.”

“God, that’s awful.” Jens reached out and took Elliot’s hand. They didn’t need to stick around. They weren’t the owner or even a renter, and they really needed to find a place to stay.

Elliot pulled out his phone and swiped his hand over the screen. “I have this app, we can find a place in the city.”

“Okay.” Jens was quiet for a moment before he put his hand on Elliot’s arm. “You want me to stay with you?”

He nodded and smiled. “Yeah, I’d like that.”

Jens bit his lower lip, thrilled that they’d be staying together. “I’m all for it. I’ll grab your suitcase so you can make us reservations.” Jens reached for Elliot’s suitcase but was stopped by Elliot’s hand on his arm.

“I found it. I’m making the reservation now. It’s just over the river. You okay to walk to the subway entrance?”

“Yes, but are you okay? You’re the one who hit your head.”

  “I’m fine. Let’s go.”

The building was ablaze behind them, warming the air. As they walked away, the air grew colder. Jens wrapped his free arms around his waist, increasing his pace. The hand he was using to pull his suitcase was freezing.

  “It’s cold.”

“I’ll warm you up when we get there,” Elliot said.

Jens smiled, knowing that Elliot would be true to his word. Once they got off the side street, walking became easier. Someone, maybe the city, had come through and removed most of the snow from the streets. The sidewalks had a clear space that he and Elliot could walk on. The steps to the subway had been salted, making them easy to go down. They only waited a few minutes before the subway train arrived, and they loaded on. The car was mostly empty, so they took a seat, both sighing as they relaxed.

“I really want something warm when we get to the hotel,” Jens said.

“We should probably call Adam.” Elliot looked worried.

“Oh yeah, Adam and Ryland. Let me place that call.” They were over the river by the time the phone started ringing. There was no answer, and he didn’t know if he should leave a message saying that the house had burned down or not. He guessed Ryland owned the whole house, since he’d rented out the room. The beep sounded, and Jens opened his mouth but hesitated. “Call me. It’s Jens, if you didn’t know. Really, you—I need—hell, just call me.”

He hung up and stared at his phone. The subway train slowed and he glanced up, catching Elliot’s gaze.

  “That was awkward,” Jens said.

  “Yeah. This is our stop.”

Jens looked out the window and twisted his mouth. “The Mass General stop? Where are we staying?”

“The Liberty. The place is supposed to be nice.”

  “Okay, let’s go.”

They walked down the stairs to the street level, bracing themselves for the walk across the street to the hotel. The wind was whipping off the river, chilling Jens to the bone. They moved quickly but had to slow down for patches of ice along the way. When he entered the front door of the hotel, heat warmed him. He paused before riding the escalator up to the lobby level. Elliot stopped, loosening his jacket and removing his gloves.

“Do you want to dine downstairs or room service?”

Jens shrugged. “Let’s check in first. I’m not sure which I’d rather do.”

  “Okay, I’m up for either.”

They ascended the escalator and checked in. Neither one of them said much on the way to their room. Once they were locked behind the solid door in the privacy of their room, Jens pushed Elliot up against the wall and kissed him hard. They both groaned as they separated.

“Please say you want to stay in,” Elliot said.

“Sure.” Jens slid his palm down Elliot’s chest to his abs then dipped lower, caressing his cock.

  “Ah, so good.”

“I told you. I really like your cock.”

“Hot shower? We could warm up.” Elliot pumped his hips against Jens’ hand,

“I like that idea. Last in gets the first blowjob.” Jens held Elliot’s wrists in one hand as he tugged off his own shirt.

Elliot laughed, and he halfheartedly attempted to free himself. “You could have just asked.” Elliot leaned forward and gave him a kiss.

“Yeah, but this is giving me ideas.”

  “Like what?”

Jens gave a small laugh and squeezed Elliot’s wrists tighter. “I think it would be very hot to have you with your arms held above you like this. I’d love to hear you beg me as I played with your dick.”

Elliot pumped his hips forward as Jens popped the button on his pants. He ground forward, matching Elliot’s pressure.

  “You like grinding like this?”

“Fuck, yeah. Feels good,” Elliot moaned.

Jens unzipped his pants and pushed them down. It was difficult to reach up and down all at the same time. He dropped his hold on Elliot’s wrists as he shoved his pants lower, kicking off his shoes. His socks came next. Elliot grabbed hold of his naked body, his fingers digging into the flesh of Jens’ butt cheeks. He gasped when Elliot spun him around and pressed him against the door. Still fully clothed, Elliot trapped him.

“You mean like this?” Elliot grabbed Jens’ hands and brought them together over his head. Jens allowed him to trap his wrists in one hand. He leaned his head back and arched his body forward, shoving his dick into Elliot’s hand.

His cock grew harder as Elliot jacked him. Precum seeped from his slit, and Elliot spread it over his cockhead. He’d wanted to blow Elliot, but the man was still clothed. Parts of his body were still cold from being outside, and he needed the nice warm shower along with Elliot’s hands.

  “Shower, please. I’m still cold.”

“You got it.” Elliot released his wrists but grabbed his hand, leading him into the bathroom.

They both stalled when Elliot flipped on the light. The bathroom was huge. Slate gray tile along with dark woods gave the room a masculine feel. Off to one side was a shower encased in glass, featuring a rain showerhead hanging over the top. This place was luxurious beyond any hotel he’d ever stayed at.

“I’m glad we’re staying in. This place is amazing,” Jens said.

“Damn, it is, and that shower looks big enough to fuck you in.”

Jens stilled and his heart thudded. He wanted Elliot inside of him, pressing him against the tile.

“Do you have condoms?” Elliot asked.

“Yes.” He didn’t want to add that he carried them just in case he ran into Bruce, not that that was likely to happen, but he’d been hopeful up until he met Elliot. After this weekend, even if Bruce came begging, he wouldn’t sleep with him. “I have some in my bag with a bottle of lube.”

“Get them. I’ll get the water hot.”

Elliot grabbed the back of Jens’ neck and drew him close, his breath puffing on Jens’ cheek. “You’ll tell me if I hurt you or if you’re uncomfortable, right?”

  “Yeah.”

“Good. Get the condoms then get ready, because I’m going to slide into you. You’ve had my cock in your mouth. You know my size.”

Jens shivered and nodded. The man wasn’t small, that was for sure. Jens grabbed the condoms then turned on the water, waiting for it to warm before he stepped in. Elliot entered the shower, condom and lube in hand. He looked down at the items and then back to Jens.

“I really don’t do this often. Actually, I never do this type of stuff.”

“I haven’t been with a new guy in a long time. My partner of the last few years has been cheating on me.”

“You have a partner?” Elliot frowned, and his eyes narrowed.

Jens shook his head. “I haven’t seen him for two months, and he won’t call me back. I don’t think he’s been much of a partner for a while. I’ve been naïve thinking he wanted me. I called him about a week ago, and he still hasn’t returned my call. That’s not a partner.”

“Does he think you’re still together?”

“I left a message and sent a text, telling him we were done.”

“I don’t want to come between the two of you.”

“Babe.” Jens stepped away from the shower and held out his hand to Elliot. “He won’t even return my calls or my texts. I’ve given him plenty of chances. Like I said, I haven’t seen him in two months, and in that time, he’s called me once. He didn’t even want to talk to me, just asked where something was. I’d say that he pulled out of this relationship a long time ago, but he doesn’t have the decency to tell me face to face that it’s over.”

“That sucks. What did he think you were supposed to do?”

“No clue, but I can’t put my life on hold because he can’t stomach breaking up with me. I think you’re great. We have some issues to work through, like our locations, but I don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to be with you just because he’s a dick.”

“If he called and asked you to go back with him, would you go with him?”

  “No.”

  “Because of me?”

Jens shook his head. “I deserve more than a guy who won’t talk to me.”

“You do realize that if we’re together, we may not see each other very often.”

“I don’t believe for a minute that you’d cut off communications. If you decided this wasn’t working, I think you’d have the balls to call me.”

  “I would.”

  “So it’s agreed then?”

  “What?” Elliot asked.

“We’re in a relationship, and we’ll talk, making sure to never just leave the other one hanging.”
