"They have been gone for quite some time now. Think it might be a good idea to go round them up?"
"Yeah, I've got a bad feeling all of a sudden. Grab Calix, Axel and Owen, and we'll head out. Knowing Carina, they went outside for their chat."
“I’m right here, Phelan. I’ll get my brothers.”
Before Calix turned toward his brothers, Dimitri spoke up.
“I’ve had warriors doing patrols of the castle’s borders several times a day since we rescued Eilagh and Becky. This morning they reported seeing a black and grey dragon fleeing the grounds. He was too far away to be caught, so they didn’t give chase. That doesn’t mean that Huro and Gyasi haven’t left something behind. I was planning on taking a team out after breakfast to search the area for traps. The dragon was spotted flying northwest from the castle, so you’d best start in that direction.”
“That’s where we’ll start looking then.”
As Denver responded out loud, Calix called to his brothers.
Owen, Axel, we're heading out to find Skye and Carina. Something doesn't feel right, they've been gone too long, and Dimitri informs us that a black dragon was chased off the grounds this morning.
With his brothers by his side, Calix rushed from the castle. Once outside, as the two eldest, he and Denver set about forming a plan.
"Calix, has Skye touched any of you in dragon form yet?"
"No, not yet. We haven't got that far with her."
He should have just touched her last night with his dragon. It would have scared her more, but at least he'd know how to find her now.
"Okay, well, we'll be able to zone in on Carina, and they should be together."
Together with Owen and Axel, Calix stood back as Denver, Phelan, and Hart closed their eyes. All three dragons dropped to their knees with groans a moment later, before Phelan spoke up.
“Found her.”
"She's scared. She's calling out to us."

Denver looked to him and nodded. All four of them flashed to their dragons and took off to the northwest. The three of them spread out behind Denver and continually scanned the bush beneath them for signs of either female.

Axel's voice screamed a moment before he banked to the left and took off.
Go with him. They separated Becky and Eilagh, so chances are they’ve done the same with our Desireds.

He banked to the right and went low while watching the speck of blue as it flashed in and out of view before it disappeared. Suddenly Denver’s deep voice filled his mind.
Calix, we've found Carina. I'm going to take her back to the castle while Phelan and Hart join you.

Calix passed Denver's message onto his brothers as he closed in on where he'd last seen the flash of blue. Abruptly, he found himself being knocked into a large tree trunk.
