Nikoli gave a soft chuckle as he pulled Kyle up the steps. “Then let’s christen this house, shall we?”
Kyle filled the empty house with his laughter as he raced up the steps behind Nikoli. The sound was something Nikoli planned to hear every day for the rest of his life. He loved Kyle to the depth of his soul, and Nikoli would kill, steal, and swindle to keep that grin on his zaterio’s face.
