“Do it, for I won’t stop wanting you naked as soon as possible.” He trailed kisses down her neck to her breasts. She held his head tightly while he suckled first one nipple and then the other.

Sweeping her up, he said, “There are things I want to do to you, Siobhan. You drive me mad with desire until I want you in every way possible. Micah will feel the same when he comes home. Can you handle that?”

Yes! This was all she wanted and more. “Try me.”

He smiled as he carried her to the bed where he began his exploration of her naked body by tying her hands to the headboard with the silk tie from her robe. He placed a large pillow under her lower back, leaving her ass and sex completely exposed. Using his own and Micah’s robe ties, he secured her spread eagle to the footboard.

Micah had held her hands in place above her head while making love, but that was nothing like Andrew’s efforts. With him she had no control at all.

To her great surprise, she thrilled to the lack of control. Here was the lion dominating the hare. Her skin tingled with excitement. Her mind raced, imagining all the things he might do to her, things to which she would have no recourse. When he stood at the foot of the bed and stared, her juices leaked from her channel and down her butt crack. He must have seen the moisture because he stared at her cunny and smiled.

“Are the bonds too tight?” he asked, his gaze never leaving her nether regions. She squirmed as much as she could under his critical eye.

  “No.”

“Do you enjoy being at my mercy?”

How to answer? Let him know the thrill running down her spine and give him the psychological upper hand, or lie? “You must know after all we’ve done, as should Micah, that from the very beginning of this business I’ve been at your mercy. Ropes and ties only add to the unknown, and therefore the excitement.”

Andrew met her eyes and chuckled. “A very honest answer.” As if of its own will, the robe slid off his shoulders. Unself-conscious of his nakedness and the proud, firm erection he sported, Andrew walked to the dressing table and dimmed the lights. When he approached the bed, tall, dark, broad-shouldered, Siobhan was reminded of her dream from the night before. Satan came to her, ready and willing to lead her down sensual paths to perdition. She couldn’t wait to follow.

He started with her feet, digging his thumbs into the arches and then stroking to the soft pads below her toes. She had no idea anything to do with feet could feel so heavenly. But then he kissed her ankles, caressed her calves, and licked the backs of her knees. She smelled the evidence of her arousal as juices ran from her pussy toward her bum hole.

By the time Andrew reached her thighs, Siobhan strained against the ties. A coil tighter than a watch spring threatened to snap. Andrew appeared to be in no hurry, and she needed him, damn it!

Finally, finally, he came to that center of hot yearning between her legs. He played with her a moment, teasing her with his finger while he regarded her eyes.

  “Do it!”

“Do what?” he asked lazily, and then he grasped her clitoris between thumb and index finger. Rolling it, he laughed softly when she moaned.

  “More! Touch me, kiss me.”

  “Is that all?”

  “Fuck me!”

“Ah, now the lady asks for what she really wants.” When he said it, his voice held more than teasing. He was near the edge, too. She heard it.

He bent to lick at her juices, across her pussy, between the furrows of her lower lips, and all the way to her ass. As much as she could, she raised her hips to allow him access to that forbidden place. Both he and Micah had teased her there, and each time they touched her, she came closer to a desire she didn’t truly understand.

“Take me there,” she dared to whisper.

“Not yet,” he said, though he used his tongue to moisten it thoroughly. Then he returned attention to her pussy, lapping at it, mining it with his fingers and tongue, probing deep with his fingers while he sucked her clitoris into his hot mouth.

The tension built. Lightning struck and played along her nerves. She yanked on the bindings, wanting to run her fingers through his soft hair, wanting to hold his head in place until his hand and tongue finished her off.

Suddenly he rose and came around so that he straddled her stomach, facing the foot of the bed. His cock pulsed on her stomach. He buried his head at her pussy and consumed her. His lips fit to the opening of her channel and his tongue dug deeply. He rocked into her, his cock rode her stomach, leaving wet streaks of moisture on her feverish skin.

Sweat broke out on her brow, watching his ass surge up and down, bumping her breasts while his groin scraped her abdomen. If her hands were loose, she would capture his cheeks and kiss him there, perhaps lick at his hole as he had hers. Would he enjoy that?

At the very moment she imagined herself licking Andrew’s ass, she came in a wild frenzy. Shock waves struck, made stronger because, with the ties and his weight, she couldn’t move. She had to absorb the cataclysmic sensations being held perfectly still.

She clenched her eyes shut. Fireworks burst in the blackness, but even that didn’t distract her from the amazing, overwhelming thing happening to her body. She could die and she would still feel every inch of this transformation.

Weight lifted from her, and when she forced her eyes open, Andrew had stabbed her with his cock. On his knees, he used the pillow as a bolster and pumped her with a speed that surprised her. His thumb pressed her pussy so that the swells of orgasmic sensation kept on and on. The enormous bed rocked with their movement. Her breasts bounced and shook. His eyes shut, Andrew threw back his head and cried out. His seed, hot and powerful, shot into her womb. She felt it. She knew it.

Siobhan trembled when he finally ended his climax and fell forward onto her stomach. Long moments later she began to control herself, and weariness struck.

  “Will you untie me now?”

“I don’t know,” he said into her stomach. “I like having you this way.”

She sighed. No need withholding what he must have discerned for himself. “I enjoyed it, too.”

He propped his chin on her abdomen and smiled. “You said earlier that Micah and I should know you were at our mercy. My dear Siobhan, don’t you know? You have that totally backward.”

She wanted to laugh. Who had tied up whom? “I do?”

His smile disappeared, and fire lit his eyes. “That’s what happens when love enters the picture. Those you think strong are really as biddable as kittens.”

His words leaving her in shock, he quickly removed her bindings and the pillow, which he put at its place at the top of the bed, and turned out the light. If she hadn’t been too sleepy to keep her eyes from closing, she would have questioned him on his curious statement.

“Micah will be home tonight.” Andrew came into the dining room the following morning holding a wire. How would things change then? He worried that despite Micah’s words and Siobhan’s willingness, faced with the fact of his and Siobhan’s coupling, Micah would do an about-face.

“Wonderful! I’ve missed him.” Siobhan put down her coffee cup and looked up expectantly. “Does he say how your client responded to the bid?”

He perused the telegram again and then handed it to her. “No, damn it, and he knows that’s what I want to know.” He took his seat at the table after helping himself to breakfast from the sideboard. “He’s determined to keep us guessing until he arrives, I suppose.”

She placed the telegram beside her plate and continued sipping her coffee.

  “Aren’t you eating, my dear?”

She sighed. “No. I’m not hungry.” She smiled and gazed through her lashes across the table. “Your appetite doesn’t seem to suffer.”

He returned her smile. “A mysterious lady has been keeping me well exercised. That stimulates a man’s appetite.”

“The man stimulates the lady’s appetite,” she said softly.

For two cents he’d drag her back to b
ed, but he had meetings that morning that couldn’t be changed. “Can the lady wait until this evening?” A thought struck him. “Or perhaps lunch in bed would be attractive? I think I could manage it.”

“But not I. As you pointed out last night, I do need to see my dressmaker more often since certain gentlemen don’t use proper care with my clothing.”

“As long as there are no objections to how her gentlemen handle her,” he said, enjoying the banter.

“There are certainly no objections to that.”

“Good.” He rose, picking up the paper before dropping a chaste kiss on her cheek. “I believe Micah will be home before dinner. Would you care to dine out?”

She tapped her lips, thinking. “No. He will be tired of eating in establishments. I’ll tell Cook to prepare something special.” She grinned into thin air, making him wonder what she had in mind. “And I believe I will have a surprise for the two of you.”

  “What is it?”

She laughed like a schoolgirl and turned in her chair to gaze up at him. “You’ll have to wait and see.”

Normally a man who liked going to work, enjoyed solving problems and seeing his ministrations add to the company’s good fortune, for once Andrew wished the company would go to hell so he could stay home with Siobhan. But life wasn’t a fantasy, and work had to be done.

  “Until tonight,” he said.

“Yes,” she said with more than a slight huskiness in her voice. “Until tonight.”

  Chapter Eleven

Micah arrived home earlier than anticipated. Instead of hurrying to the office, as he probably should have, he rushed home to see Siobhan. She’d been in his thoughts the whole two days away. He pictured her with her head back against the wall, in her wedding dress, a temptress standing between his legs on the train, and naked in her room, the night before he left. All of those images served to stiffen his poker, and he longed now to sink his club deep within her hot, dark quim.

He’d given some thought, too, to her being with Drew. The previous night he had imagined watching them, envisioning a dark head like his own dipping between her thighs to sip from her pussy, his own buttocks flexing and thrusting while fucking, and his own mouth greedily sucking at her nipples. Those were heady pictures, which he dared brave only in the solitude of his bed at night, for they brought him to a state of erection he couldn’t hide. The past two nights he’d brought himself off with firm pressure and a steady hand. But now he wouldn’t have to resort to self-stimulation.

Taking the steps two at a time, he raced into the house while his man extricated his luggage from the carriage.

“Siobhan!” He sounded like a fishmonger, calling out her name that way, but he didn’t care. Who would blame a man from being anxious to see his new bride?

“The mistress isn’t at home, sir,” Martin said, coming swiftly down the hall.

“Oh.” Disappointment brought his mood lower. “Did she say when she would return?”

“No, sir. Though she often is out most afternoons.” Martin looked uncomfortable talking about his mistress, even to his master.

The door opened, and his valet entered with his briefcase and bag. Micah reached out for the attaché. “I’ll be at the office, then. Andrew and I will be home at the regular hour, Martin.” He exited, closing the door on his butler’s words of acknowledgment. Where could Siobhan be “most afternoons”? Not wanting to admit a slight twinge of jealousy over whatever occupied her time and mind, he flagged down a cab.

The trip took less time than he’d thought, or perhaps being lost in thought only made it seem to go faster. He felt only minutes went by before the horse stopped in front of their factory offices. He paid the driver and stood for a moment, enjoying the salty, fresh air, so different from the dusty highways and foothills where he’d recently been. Then he dashed up the three flights of steps to the office.

“Drew!” No one answered. Where the fuck was everyone? First Siobhan and then Drew, neither was where they should have been. A flash of insecurity struck. Were they together? Had they forged a bond that carried from the bedroom into public, into daytime trysts and lazy afternoons staring googly-eyed at each other?

Take a deep breath, idiot. What difference does it make? You love her, so why shouldn’t Drew love her, too?

But that wasn’t what bothered him. Siobhan had never said—had never even hinted that she also loved him. What if she gave her affection to his twin, instead? Regardless of their likenesses, even twins harbored a competitiveness, a desire to outdo the other. He could share his wife with his double. He wanted to share her. But how would he feel if he found that Siobhan preferred Drew to him?

Not feeling so generous now, are you? He stared out the window, morose.

“Micah! We didn’t expect you back for a few hours yet.”

He turned to see Drew with his sleeves rolled up, handing papers to Chester, their office manager. Ashamed of the surge of relief that flowed through him, he smiled and came forward. “I guess I was anxious to get home and the weather was fine. We made good time.” He gave his brother a quick slap on the shoulder and removed his jacket, ready to settle in for a couple hours’ work.

“I stopped by the house but Siobhan wasn’t in.” He glanced toward the outer office, but Chester had gone out again.

Drew noticed the direction of Micah’s interest. “We’re having trouble with one of the machines in the factory. Chester has the design drawings he needs now to give the wheel master.”

So they were alone. “Martin says Siobhan is out most afternoons.”

Drew’s brows rose. “Is she? She must be making calls. Based on her conversation over dinner, she has an astoundingly wide circle of acquaintances already, all people she swears will be beneficial to our business.” He grinned. “She’s quite a woman.”

Micah rolled up his sleeves, much as Drew had, and settled into the chair behind his side of the partners’ desk. “She is.” He picked up a letter, not noticing what it was. Not caring. He simply didn’t want to observe his brother’s face as he brought up the next subject. “So, how have things been while I was away?”

“You know goddamned well how things were while you were gone.”

Startled, Micah jerked his head up and stared across the desk into what could have been a mirrored reflection.

  “You do know, don’t you?”

Micah had a flash of insight. Drew was insecure, wondering if he had misinterpreted Micah’s intentions for him and Siobhan.

“Siobhan said you gave us your blessing. I wanted to believe it, so we were together. But now I need to know that you meant it.”

Micah nodded. “I did. I do. She wants it.” He raked his fingers through his hair. “Damned if I don’t want it, too. Just the thought of seeing you with her makes me hard as a nail. The chance to be inside her with you is almost too much.”

“I know. I feel it, too.” Drew rubbed his cheek with his palm. “I haven’t been able to work. I think about her all the time.” He huffed out a laugh. “If only she cared for us the way we do for her.”

“She loves our lifestyle. She loves what we can give her.”

Drew smiled wryly. “What we give her is a fair amount of horizontal exercise.”

Micah grinned back. “Not as much as she’s going to get tonight.”

Drew toyed with a pencil. “Micah, what about the servants? Her maid knows already and doesn’t care, but Martin and Cook and everyone will know soon. I rather thought while you were away they weren’t entirely sure which of us was there and which was gone, despite Siobhan’s calling me Andrew. But with both of us there…”

“We’ll have to talk with them. If they have objections, they can damn well leave. I’ve heard enough about San Francisco to know that we can find servants who will look the other way no matter what we do short of murder.”

Drew focused on the pencil now as he twirled it between his fingers. “And I want to be sure that you…I want to be sure there’s no misunderstanding bet
ween us over…Oh, hell.” Rising, he walked to the window where he stood, hands in his pockets. “Why are you willing to share your wife with me?”

Micah had wondered that same thing while hard and needy and alone. “Because I love her.”

“That makes no fucking sense, and you know it.”

“Because the two of us make a whole man, Drew. I’ve known it all my life. It was why I never left that cold house on Beacon Hill when we finished school, why I never told Father to go to hell and went off to pursue my art. If I’d left and you stayed, it would have been like cutting off my right hand or leg.

“Sometimes it’s been a curse, but we’re bound, you and I, as surely as if we were physically joined at the hip. With both of us, she knows fully who I am, and who you are. Without the other, she makes love with half a man. So I give her to you with love, love for both of you.”

Drew turned and stared. “I’m not sure I’d do the same for you.”

Micah smiled. Having voiced his thoughts out loud gave him peace he hadn’t truly had before. No more doubts assailed him. He and Siobhan and Drew were a threesome until one of them said otherwise. He wouldn’t change his mind. Drew was obviously besotted and would stay with them as long as possible.

Siobhan was the wild card. But even without love on her part, she enjoyed sex—he’d known that from the outset. He and Drew would just have to keep her as happy in bed as they could. Not a chore.

“You might not think you would share your bride, but I have wiles. Are you sure a wife of yours would be able to resist wanting me as well as you? Maybe she would want to share.”

Drew studied Micah a moment longer and then broke into laughter. “The Berwick twins are rather irresistible.” His grin turned wolfish. “And quite insatiable.”

“Amen, brother!” Micah examined his pocket watch. “Just how early do you think we can escape?”

“Patience.” Drew took his seat again. “Anticipation of a great meal only increases the appetite. Besides, you have a business deal to tell me about.”
