Puppy Love Page 20

Tiffany gave him a sly smile and tickled her swollen clit. Fingering herself in front of him was incredibly erotic and she was so close to coming. Tiffany had managed to put on quite a show and wasn’t sure how much longer either of them could hold off before each of them finished with mind-blowing orgasms. She didn’t want this incredible feeling to ever end. Colin swirled his thumb over the tip of his member as he instructed Tiffany what to do next. Tiffany happily obliged, enjoying every bit of the torturous pleasure she was creating. This naughty game had been going on for quite a while.

Colin moved his hand up and down his hard cock. It strained in his strong grasp and he moaned deep in his throat right before unleashing a string of pearl glaze that shot onto his naked stomach. She was tempted to crawl over and lick him clean. God, my man is delicious.

“That was so good,” Colin said as he caught his breath. “Did you come?”

Tiffany shook her head and he frowned.

“Let’s fix that, baby,” he said. Colin grabbed her legs and brought Tiffany toward him.

She squealed and before Tiffany knew it, Colin was pleasuring her. Colin spread her pussy lips and licked one broad swath across them, making her even wetter. Then he replaced her fingers with his and curled them inside of her. He found her nipple with his tongue and flicked against the sensitive bud. Colin’s mouth covered it and he sucked hard, causing a sharp zing to shoot through her. Tiffany threw her head back and lifted her pelvis.

Her body ached with need. Colin removed his hand and positioned himself above Tiffany. He’d gotten hard again already, but he stayed just at the entrance of her slick pussy, teasing her.

“Please,” she begged. Her body was on fire.

Colin snatched her up and moved her onto her belly. He rubbed her ass and spread her thighs apart with his knees. His hard cock brush against her drenched center then he gripped her hips and thrust inside of her. Finally, the fullness that she craved. He slammed into her. Each stroke was powerful and caused wicked waves of lust to ripple through her. Her breasts swayed below her as he worked her pussy. Colin took a fistful of her hair into his hands. He gently tugged her head back and found her neck. She backed against Colin’s hardness and her cunt swallowed more of him, hungry for more and seeking release.

“Tell me how much you need me,” he commanded in a low whisper. Colin slid out of her, teasing her aching sex.

“Oh God, please.” Tiffany panted hard.

Colin ran his free hand along her ribs then cupped her breast. He grazed her shoulder with his teeth but kept his cock out of her. It drove her crazy as she tried desperately to push him inside again.

“Tell me, Tiffany,” Colin said again firmly.

“I need you. All of you,” she managed.

“Good girl.” With one deep stroke, Colin rewarded Tiffany as he dove into her again.

The flood of heat that swarmed her body was incredible. She just wanted Colin closer. It was as though her body were trying to consume him. Tiffany shuddered as her orgasm rocked her. She fisted the sheets to try to steady herself and ride out the chaotic rush that was crashing over her. Colin continued to steer her into a wild fit of sensations. She cried out when her legs coated with her juices. Light splintered behind her closed eyes as she was racked by another tremor. Colin sent another bolt of electricity through her when he plunged into her as deeply as possible.

“Still need to test drive it?” Colin asked as he tried to catch his breath again.

“Nope, I’m sold,” Tiffany replied as they both collapsed on the bed together.

Now that they had been home from their amazing trip to Colin’s birth home and delightful country, he was all about finding them a more permanent solution when it came their housing. Tiffany actually didn’t mind the condo and didn’t quite see the need to getting a new home, but Colin was growing more suburban and into a family man as each day passed, and he insisted they had to find something.

House hunting. Tiffany figured it would be super easy. Find a house that had everything—simple enough, right? Not at all.

Colin had created his wish list and she had hers. Luckily, they both wanted a lot of the same things. However, that was proving to be nearly impossible to find in the giant city of Seattle.

“We could always build?” Colin suggested. He was leaning back in his chair, and he thoughtfully rubbed his chin.

Tiffany was in front of him, leaning against the solid wooden desk with her arms folded across her chest. She was beyond frustrated. They’d just returned from looking at several properties and none of them had jumped out at either Colin or Tiffany. It had been a waste of time.

“You have such a great view from here,” Tiffany commented as she looked out at the city below. Evening stars were starting to emerge and lights were twinkling from every direction. Traffic stops, headlights, surrounding skyscrapers… It was all gorgeous.

The office was empty. It was quiet—no employees to silently judge her, no old co-workers to throw her nasty looks. It was hard to imagine that months earlier this place had been like a second home. Now it was simply one of her husband’s businesses. Her little office was soon going to be home to a new assistant, one that she planned to take out to lunch and hang out with as much as possible—Colin’s youngest sister, Penny. Tiffany was thrilled when he’d told her that Penny was interested in working for him. Tiffany had seen how much Penny looked up to her big brother and Tiffany had connected with her instantly when they had visited. Tiffany assured Colin that she would have a friend here. Heck, probably three. Tiffany knew Molly and Mackenzie would love this girl. Colin joked that he was now more scared than ever.

“Did I mention that Owen invited us out on Friday night?” Colin said as he shuffled some papers on his desk, not making eye contact with her. He’d been acting a little strangely the last day or so, but she wrote it off as stress over the house hunting.

“No, it must have slipped your mind. Molly didn’t say anything, either.”

“Well, I had lunch with him yesterday and he invited us on the boat.”

“That will be nice. I need to catch up with Molly. She’s been so busy lately,” Tiffany commented as she searched Colin’s face. He smiled at her, masking any suspicions that Tiffany had.

“I’ll just meet you at the dock if that’s all right?” Colin asked. “I have several meetings that day and will be getting out a little late.”

  “Sure, did they invite, Mac?”

“I believe so. You could always come with her,” Colin suggested.

He seemed distracted. “Good idea. You ready to head home?” Tiffany asked as she gently kicked him.

“Ouch.” Colin rolled his chair closer to her until he was in front of Tiffany. He placed his hands on her hips, keeping her still.

“Oh no, you don’t. Not here,” Tiffany scolded him. She knew exactly what Colin was trying to do. She could see the passion light up in his eyes. This man didn’t care where they were. When the mood struck, he was willing to answer that call anywhere—be it a plane, hotel room, back of a car or now in his office.

“Yes, here,” he answered. Colin moved his hands up and down her bare legs. “These shorts have been driving me wild all day.”

They were simple white shorts, nothing special. They weren’t overly short. They were cute—she’d give him that—but they were nothing to get all excited about.

He traveled his fingers past the fabric then traced the outline her panties. This man of hers loved to tease. She was discovering that her husband had a very adventurous side. Colin looped his thumb inside the thin material and stayed on her mound, awaiting her approval. His gaze searched hers.

“Colin, what if someone comes in?” Tiffany managed to speak. He’d begun to rub a sensitive spot that was beginning to border on torture rather than pleasure. She was getting wet, even though she was hesitating.

“Then I’ll fire them.” He lifted her navy-blue shirt and kissed her stomach, dropping her short
s slowly to her ankles and running his tongue along her hips.

Tiffany gave up, threw her head back and laughed. This man is impossible.

She tried to move, but his firm grip kept her from getting away. She tangled her fingers in his hair as he began to probe and lap her up. She knew this was bad, but damn, it felt so good. So what if someone walked in? Right now, Tiffany could care less. She was so close to having an orgasm that it didn’t matter who came into the office. Her body tensed as he alternately licked and sucked on her clit. Then the dam of need burst and she bucked under his mouth as she found release.

“Oh, Colin,” Tiffany breathed when she finally could breathe again. Wave after wave had rocked her.

“Yes, baby? Still want me to stop? Still care about anyone walking in?”

She shook her head. The thrill of being naughty in his office made her want to push it even further. Now it was her turn to show him what tricks she had up her sleeve.

They weren’t going to be going home anytime soon.

“Mac, you almost ready to go?” Tiffany called out from Mackenzie’s living room. Mackenzie was still getting dressed when Tiffany had arrived to pick her up to go to the harbor. “We’re going to be late. Traffic was a nightmare just coming here.”

“Just a minute. I can’t find my other sandal. I have been looking everywhere for it.” Mackenzie huffed as she emerged into the living room. She was looking under the table then behind the sofa.

“Why would it be there? It’s probably in your closet.” Tiffany got up and began to help with the search. It didn’t take long. Tiffany had checked in the guest room and right there on the bed was a partially chewed, very expensive mate to the sandal in Mackenzie’s hand.

“Um, I think I found it,” Tiffany yelled.

“Really?” Excitement filled Mackenzie’s voice, then her face dropped when she saw the mangled shoe. “You have got to be kidding me.”

“This is it, right? Well, was it.” Tiffany held up the mauled shoe to show Mackenzie.

“That damn bulldog ate my shoe.”

“How do you know that Pauly did it?” Tiffany tried to defend him, but they both knew he was the culprit.

Mackenzie glared at her. “You will be buying me another pair.”

  “These are expensive,” Tiffany complained.

Mackenzie laughed. “And you can afford it. So, I’ll take two pairs, thank you.”

“Fine,” Tiffany relented. “We need to go. Molly will kill us with how late we are.”

“Are we having dinner on the boat?” Mackenzie asked as she slipped on a different pair of sandals.

They were headed out the door and Tiffany answered, “I think so. Gosh, can you believe summer is nearly over?”

The sun was beginning to set a lot earlier and the tease of the crisp fall air was starting to show up in the evenings.

“Tell me about it. I’m back at school next week to set up my classroom.”

They got into Tiffany’s small car and sped off toward the waterfront where a line of boats greeted them. Parking in Seattle was one of Tiffany’s least favorite things, especially when she was in a hurry or had somewhere to be. Tiffany was looking forward to dinner out on the boat with her friends. Her stomach growled and Mackenzie started to laugh.

“You too, huh?” Mackenzie asked. “I’m starving.”

“I hope Owen is making something yummy.”

Mackenzie nodded. “I’ll eat just about anything.”

Tiffany found a spot and parked. The sun was dipping into the sea and the marmalade sky was streaked with lavender. Clouds were stretched across it like pulled-apart cotton candy. The air was pungent and salty. Tiffany inhaled the scent as they power-walked to toward the docks. They spotted Owen’s boat and raced toward it.

“Sorry we’re late, guys,” Tiffany apologized as soon as she saw Owen and Molly out on the portside of the large boat.

“No worries. We weren’t going to leave without you.” Owen waved then went to help them get on.

Molly stayed back and Tiffany saw it. Her friend’s baby bump.

“Oh my God, Moll, you are starting to show,” Tiffany cried.

“Ooh, let me see,” Mackenzie said as she tried to peek around Tiffany to catch a glimpse.

Molly held her not-so-flat tummy. “Yeah, it just kinda poked out the other day.”

Tiffany and Mackenzie both sighed happily. Seeing the bump made it more real, as if seeing the little bean of a baby wiggle at the ultrasound hadn’t been enough.

They were all on the boat now and Owen began to lift anchor.

  “Wait. Where’s Colin?” Tiffany asked.

“Oh, he’s around here somewhere. He got here right before you guys did,” Molly explained but avoided Tiffany’s eyes.

“Everything okay?” Suddenly Tiffany was on high alert.

  “All good here,” Molly answered.

  “You sure?”

Mackenzie looked over the railing. She seemed to suddenly be avoiding Tiffany.

“What the hell, you guys? You’re acting weird. What’s up?” Tiffany asked.

“Nothing. Want a drink?” Molly tried to redirect the conversation. “I’ll go hunt down your hubs for you.”

“No, you sit, Mrs. Baby Bump. I will go find him.”

Molly smiled and Tiffany couldn’t shake the feeling that she’d just been had. Something is definitely up.

Leaving her friends to go look for Colin, Tiffany couldn’t help but remember the two times she’d been on the boat before—once on that fateful night when too much champagne and a tad of jealousy had put Tiffany in Colin’s arms and on his lips then the day where they were forced to be introduced but already knew each other all too well and weren’t pleased to learn that they had mutual friends. Now there was tonight. The mist from the sea sprayed Tiffany slightly, causing her face and hair to become damp as the boat cruised out farther into the waters past the harbor. She searched for Colin. This time it was would be different on the boat. He wouldn’t be some stranger she was kissing or some guy that she sort of hated. No, this time Tiffany was going to enjoy a lovely dinner with her husband and her friends. Funny how quickly things had changed. Life was full of unexpected twists and turns. Some were downright awful and others were completely wonderful. Sometimes it took riding out those awful ones to finally get to enjoy the wonderful. That’s where Tiffany was now, basking in the afterglow of some pretty rotten twists and turns.

Tiffany kept walking, pausing to gather her sea legs a few times, before she spotted him. Colin was standing there, his hands shoved into his pockets and he appeared to be deep in thought. Maybe he was reflecting on everything just as she had only moments ago. She was half tempted to race up behind him and spook him, but Tiffany didn’t trust herself to not wind up overboard. That would totally be her luck and she wasn’t pressing it.

  “Colin,” she called out.

He turned and his smile appeared instantly. “Tiffany, I didn’t realize you were here yet.”

“Um, the boat is moving. That should have been a dead giveaway,” Tiffany teased as Colin approached her.

“Sorry. My mind is elsewhere,” he admitted.

“Everything okay?” She was really starting to become worried. First her friends were acting strangely, now Colin. Only Owen was acting normally.

  “Everything’s perfect.”

“I’m beginning to wonder. Molly and Mac were acting a bit strange and even you’re acting a little odd now,” Tiffany countered.

Colin draped one arm around her shoulders. They faced the waves as the boat cut through the water with ease and power. Tiffany became lost in her thoughts again, almost forgetting that they weren’t alone on this boat. Sometimes when she was with Colin, the rest of the world disappeared.

“Trust me. Everything is perfect,” Colin said after a few moments of quiet, kissing the side of her head.

“It’s so beautiful out here,” Tiffany commented.

  Coli
n turned toward her and whispered, “Not nearly as beautiful as my wife.”

Tiffany flushed with pleasure. He was always complimenting her, making her feel like some rare and precious treasure, especially the last several weeks. Things had been nonstop bliss since they’d arrived home from Hawaii. She was almost waiting for the other shoe to drop, for something awful to happen to ruin how wonderful everything was going.

“Tiffany, I need to say a few things,” Colin began slowly. “We did this the wrong way.”

Great, here it is. The other shoe.

“But what counts is that we’re here, right? Isn’t that what you said in Hawaii?” Tiffany stared at him, searching his eyes for any clue as to what he was going to say next.

“True. But the more I think about it, the more I’m bothered by it all. I can’t live the rest of our lives like this.”

Wow. Tiffany was gutted. She hadn’t expected for him to say anything remotely like this. She felt a pressure, a build-up of emotion threatening to explode—probably from her eyes as they were growing blurry and hot with tears. Keep it together, Tiff.

“Oh, baby, don’t cry,” Colin begged, “Oh dear, let me get on with this. I was trying to find the right words.”

“Huh?” Tiffany was confused. She wiped away stray tears from her cheeks. Their salt was rivaling the salt of the sea. Just a moment before, she’d felt as though her heart was being carved out of her chest and dissected. Now she didn’t know what to feel.

“Oh, my sweet love, what I mean is that we should do this right way, the way you deserve. I could be happy just as we are, but it’s not enough for you.”

“But it is. You are enough and that’s all that matters,” Tiffany replied.

Colin held onto the side of the boat as he got down on one knee. He reached into his pants pocket and fished something out. A small box. He cracked it open and a large emerald and diamond ring peered back at Tiffany, sparkling in the Seattle sunset.

She covered her mouth as the shock throttled through her. Her ring finger was already heavy with an enormous diamond. Colin grabbed her hand and gently removed the wedding ring from Vegas.
