  “Thank you so much.”

After, more discussions bounced around. During one of them, King Tate came out more composed, but was still stunned from the emotional experience.

“Rex Nattan.” King Skylar prompted. “I think that was as much time we can spend here today without arousing suspicions. I vote we end this meeting forthwith.”

“Hold on.” Cage said, snapping awake at the mental nudge from his partner. He figured he had slept for a good three hours and was almost fully recovered. “There is a demonstration.”

“Of what?” The largest leader of the room rumbled.

“How we’ve learned how to kill your kind.” Moril voiced as it was her place and nearly forgot about it. “I brought one of my most skilled warriors.”

“Captain Fredrick?” King Tate asked as he looked closer at the young man being gestured to atop his nearly black dragon.

“It is I, My King.” Fredric bowed at the waist.

“You are not under my service.”

“But you shall always be my king. I still serve the crown, even from afar. If by being Utala means I can stop at least one enemy from harming you, my vow as a knight will remain untarnished.” The armored man replied.

“Still stubborn.” General Corbin remarked and watched Fredrick grin.

Moril went on as if she hadn’t been interrupted. “Fellow Rex’s, our men cannot magically fly, but their strength makes up for the lack, but my people and yours have come up with a way to correct the disadvantage somewhat. Fredrick is our most skilled fighter of the men when on combat. Since you will fight in the sky, so will we need to be ready to join you. To see what Fredrick is capable of I suggest we go outside. Ulon has volunteered to act the enemy.”

“Objections?” Great golden orbs looked from one to the next. “None oppose.”

“Before we leave this private room.” King Tate raised his voice, stopping everyone. “I would like to apologize for my behavior.” Not one person spoke. “My conduct was unbecoming and I’ll do whatever is in my power to see it doesn’t happen again.” He looked up on Xamii’s head. “Chief Moril, if it will be allowed… and if Katelyn agrees, would you permit a triple water ceremony?”

“It can be arranged. Are you still planning on announcing this to your whole tribe?”

“For my daughter, of course. And should Katelyn also agree to be my wife, I’ll also tell my people.”

“Very well. Make sure she knows our rules and she will bare you more babies.” At that, some in the room laughed at his beet red expression.

“We leave then.” Rex Nattan said and stood. “Once in the other room, Jump to where I designate the demonstration to be held.”

As everyone went to stand Cage flew across the open space and returned Brabav’s color from white to gold. She gave thanks and as he finished Zikon raised his voice “Cage, a word.” After wiping his perspired forehead he complied and stood beside the leader of the First Council.

  “What’s up, Grandpa?”

“Besides giving me several heart attacks during today I wanted to know what has happened to Sean. You called him Joe-tune? What is that?”

“I would like to know as well.” Theresa piped up to those upon her brow.

“Oh, well I guess all things considering, his mating with a dragon isn’t a high priority.” Zikon’s eye’s bulged and those overhearing all paused for a moment. “Ollai is a young red dragon, not even a century old, but close. We’ve known Sean had an unbreakable spirit mate, but were pleasantly surprised to find out it was her. Mox over there with Gralla called her Frelim, mother of a new race. When she looked at Sean she did magic without knowing what she was doing and changed him physically… Here is his actual look unaltered in scale, without his scales.” Cage cast an illusion in front of Theresa. “And this is when his scales show when he’s embarrassed or angry… or ready to fight.” It changed. “But he is different. He has Ollai’s scales, but has brown colored magic. And when he sleeps he bursts into flames like all male dragons. Inside though, he is still the same boy I’ve come to love as my own. He’s living in a cave Below Granny’s house together with Ollai, but we all have agreed that Ollai refrain from having children for five or six centuries. Right now they are enjoying an adult’s perks.”

“When the war is over, may I study them?” Zikon asked with wide, intrigued hazel eyes. Even how he held his white oak staff seemed excited.

“Not my call. But do not get near Ollai if they consent. Sean’s instincts to allow no male near his mate are in overdrive. And no female can near him without Ollai’s hackles rising. Children they have no problem with, but adults they will attack to kill, even if they do not wish so.”

“Thank you for the warning.” They watched as Rex Nattan opened the great golden doors. “And I have news for you as well.”

“Oh. By the way you said that has you excited. What do you got that can get your mind in such a happy mood?” Cage poked the sorcerer’s lightly glowing arm teasingly. “Spill, Grandpa.”

Zikon could not contain his excitement. “I found Ceembura’s notes on bonding flesh.” Cage gave him a sideways glance. “It’s true. I found it four days ago with Theresa’s help. We devised a locater spell that has taken over two months to invent. The only way it worked was with a small flesh sample I took from you. And also I’ll have you know all reports from the sample I took from your arm came back as simple flesh. A few minor pollutants likely absorbed from your world you’ve yet purged, but not a trace of any chemicals to recreate from what I took. But the spell my girl here and I use what remained to act as a catalyst. And it worked. Whatever of Ceembura remained in the smallest part of their creation allowed the spell to search for the nearest artifact touched by Ceembura’s hand and we found a rather thin insert within a book that hadn’t been touched in close to five thousand years detailing the migration patterns of a certain species of common snakes. It was lodged behind a shelf that even the keepers were surprised to not be in their database and hidden from sight too.

“But the insert gave detailed accounts on the recipe of your arms.” Zikon’s hazel eyes twinkled as he spoke quickly. “And it is true that the recipe calls for a dragon’s scale, shredded to a fine powder and mixed with all the chemical components that make up our human skin…”

  “Fat, protein, amino acids, water…”

“Yes, yes. I know you know about that, but the materials must be pure… and remain so until applied to the recipient. No bacteria or containments can be allowed without corrupting the material.”

“So that’s why they floated inside a barrier rather than lay on the pedestal…” Cage commented his thoughts aloud.

“And Theresa and I are currently synthesizing samples. She gave me one of her scales, after gaining approval from Rex Gralla. And the color reflects the scale used. Your arms most certainly came from a black dragon, but Theresa’s amethyst coloring will reflect hers. It will take some time since the process is among the most demanding and delicate processes I’ve ever encountered. Boy, I’m serious. Ceembura’s idea is intricate and needs more than a month to combine properly. Your feet for instance requires a completely different timing and alteration than your arms. How he thought of such means makes me envy Ceembura.”

“Are you going to give it to yourself? What about gems? Are you going to emulate what Ceembura did to me?” Cage wondered.

“By no means!” Zikon laughed. “Binding gems to bone and flesh isn’t wise, unless you’re wearing what you do. Regular diamonds and lower grades can’t even compare. I’d hate to change out gem after gem rather than carry them. No, only a fool would do such without what you alone hold.”

“Oh, and Grandpa,” Cage started. “I need to tell you that if my diamonds ever get removed from my body by either someone somehow cutting my arm off at the shoulder, or if my vitals stop functioning they are set to explode, releasing all the energy I’ve stored. And unless I take them off by free will, I’ve designed a spell that will make you their next o
wner… unless I change them later on for one of my children. So if you see four black diamonds floating in front of you face, you know I’ve committed suicide. And I will only do that to be with my mates should the worst happen… and I find a way to free Daku until he feels it is his time to join us.”

Zikon was truly taken back by this and said “I’m honored you would trust me as caretaker if the worst falls and if any of your children are young, I’ll simply hold onto them and give them back as an heirloom… and I guess congratulations are in order.” Zikon leaned in conspiratorially “Word of warning, now that my wife sees you as a grandson, you making Tohka pregnant means she’s going to be around quite often to check in on her newest great grandchild.”

“So I heard.” Cage looked over as Theresa crossed the threshold and saw all the human and dragon soldiers getting up and readying. “Gotta go, Grandpa. Keep me in the loop on the formula.”

“Certainly.” Zikon allowed as his extended grandson flew over and landed back on his mighty Familiar.

Rex Nattan gathered attention once all were settled and ready. “Where we go is here. No disturbances will occur.” He showed a secluded mountain range that was memorable as they had all seen it once.

Then he simply disappeared in a bright gold flash.

Cage, having spent time absorbing ever since returning Barbav’s color, was more than able to teleport himself and Daku to the designated airspace. In less than a minute the hall emptied to exit in the air. Moril gave directions and all except Ulon, who put Brooke in Poli’s care, Fredrick and his black dragon were who flew in the air. The rest landed along a mountain’s ridge. Moril then called out “Cody! Jakkzo!” the two approached. “You two are part of the designers. Tell them.” The other Rex’s showed intrigue.

Jakkzo then shot a stream of flames from his maw and the combatants began circling. Rose and black warriors came together.

Cody said aloud “The harness works best in a hit and run tactic. You see how Fredrick waited till they were close before firing the line. If a crystal we carry is inserted into the back of the system, the hooks become magic-breakers. Only to pierce mind you. They can pierce stone without magic, up to a foot deep at a hundred paces… human paces.” He corrected. “Up that close, they can pierce armor and scale alike for up to fifteen feet… The exchange between dragons is fast and painful, giving us an opportunity to latch ourselves to your large bodies… you see how Ulon follows his prey, thinking he has the advantage, he doesn’t sense Fredrick yet. He didn’t feel the hooks find purchase. Watch how Fredrick’s partner keeps attention on himself. The enemy will act like this, thinking they are winning. Ulon is big and has more power than his opponent, but victory is all he can think of, not a human climbing up to the base of his neck, where it meets your body, right where your armor has weaknesses.” Many eyes were narrowed, zooming in as Fredrick moved along the metal armor, using spikes to keep balance. He drew both swords and spoke a word to activate the special magic within. The blade’s glowed a dull dark aura before swinging in a cross, scissor cut. It sliced through the armor’s link, scales and with his superhuman strength, bit down into the spine and severed the spinal cord.

Instantly Ulon’s wings and body lost all tension, giving the black one a chance to do a difficult turnaround and his maw latched onto Ulon’s neck, at the base of his skull, holding him there rather than separating the head from the rest of the body.

A blue flash showed all major injuries healed and his limp body jerked back into motion. He was then let go. A moment later the audience watched Fredrick leap off Ulon’s shoulder, sailed through the air for over two hundred feet before firing his lines and getting back on his partner, unassisted.

“And as you witnessed, little magic was used. That means our tactics won’t be easily detected… In our crystals, if our partners cannot retrieve us, we will jump down and land unharmed through our own strength or with spells in the crystal discs we can put in the harnesses. What do you think?”

“Impressive!” Rex Gralla said. “When can we get the contraption for our own two-leg’s?”

“Bugs still need to be worked out, Gralla.” Cage said and saw her next question forming. “Not bugs literally. I’m going to design improvements and engineering from my time on Earth. Give me one week and you’ll see what kind of differences I’ll make to make the overall design run more smoothly. And as soon as I find every solution I’ll personally Jump the schematics to a specified location so production can begin. And if you find any improvements, share.”

“Seven rotations. Hmmm” she hummed deeply. “That will work well for me.”

“For us all.” Rex Nattan grunted. “Much potential I can see in this combination. Likely if used against me, my life would be in danger. Our enemies will not find us so easily defeated. Splendid work, all of you.”

  Chapter 8

“We-heee must go-ho!” Brooke cried out as her back was pressed to the wall with her man buried to the hilt inside her, stretching her limits again. Though she said it, she didn’t let her ankles uncross from around his narrow waist as she met him thrust for thrust. Her fingers dug in his back causing a little blood to follow each finger from another orgasm shooting through her. “Great Spirits!” But instead of it easing, it kept going and going as his powerful hips thrust his lance faster and faster till all thoughts other than the moment was blown to hell, never to return the same way. He kept her in that torture for minutes till he buried himself past her channel and deep into her womb to release his seed as she locked him in tight, orgasms made stars go supernova, harder than ever and her limbs never wanting to let go.

She felt his neck bury in the curve of her neck to give feather soft kisses to work her down and he moaned murmuring “So good.” And still he gripped her firm ass, palming it easily with his large hands. She leaned back against the wall and enjoyed the lazy draw his eyes made to her rigid breasts that ached from need and what he had done to them earlier. They begged and she drew herself to moan as he kissed he cleavage and sucked on a nipple.

“Brooke Love! Your hair!” Meeka stomped her foot as she found them together in the living room, beside the fireplace.

“Huh?” Brooke looked up lazily, turning to mush as her breasts were no longer played with. “Meeka Love? Why are you mad? Was it your turn?”

“Haaa…” Meeka sighed as she shook her head and smiled as Brooke slowly managed to unlock her ankles and whimpered as her man slid out from her, leaving a void she wanted back. Brooke slapped Cage upside the head. “Fool! All that hard work ruined! What is wrong with you!”

Sheepishly Cage cowered and the smirk he showed off meant he wasn’t sorry in the least. “I couldn’t help it. She was sooo beautiful my lance stood at attention the moment she came down and look, now it wants you.”

Meeka stroked it out of habit and licked the moisture of sex off her finger and hummed pleasurably. “As cruelly tempting as it is, you fucked me as senseless as you did our woman last night.” She pointed to Brooke who now sat down on the ground with her head on her knees, trying to recover. “And my hair is more important than going senseless since our women have to go.” Meeka raised her voice. “Tohka, Cage ruined our work!”

“No!” Tohka yelled from upstairs and rushed down. “And a bath too?” She groaned and slapped Cage’s arm as she flew past and knelt at Brooke’s side. “We needed to be gone minutes ago… good thing she’s not wearing her tomahawks.” Tohka waved her hand across Brooke’s body, collecting all the sweat as Meeka began fixing Brooke’s braids. For spite, Tohka flicked the sweat ball at Cage’s face, but wards flared in his hands and stopped it. Before any hit the floor, he whisked it outside.

Each woman was naked and wore their weapons, but they wore flattering paints, wore perfume, aside from Brooke who can’t hold a scent. Meeka wore jasmine while Tohka fell in love with vanilla, all extracted from Cage’s own plants and knowledge on how to extract and mix with a non-scented alcohol the permeates all around them delicately. It was a
gift he made yesterday as they planned for today. Their hair was braided differently, uniquely done to highlight their beauty. Meeka wore a single braid sprouted from the right side of her head and lay blissfully between her ample bosom and made one also look at her tattoo which flattered and emphasized them to greater proportions. Tohka’s hair was separated in single braid, but woven from five strands only a skilled hand could make. And Tohka carried a single white rose, thorns removed, behind and ear while Meeka had dozens of smaller all threaded through her twisted braid. They each had selected contrasting color from their hair.

As they worked, Brooke regained herself. Her loose midnight black hair that had grown out some to brush just above her shoulder blades, but was quickly rearranged back into three separate braids. In a minute Meeka applied the thin leather straps around the ends, all carrying a bird’s long, dove white, flight feathers. Meeka said “Done.”

Tohka lightly tapped her woman’s cheek. “Brooke Love, are you with us?”

“Almost.” She huffed and looked up. “Cage Love, after this is over I want more.”

“We always do.” Tohka smirked as they each looked at his massive lance with hunger that had to wait. “Can you walk yet?” Brooke shook her head and laid it on Tohka’s shoulder. “Meeka, I told you she shouldn’t have gone down first.”

“And I figured our man knew what today is and would have some restraint.”

“Who? Me?” Cage looked comically offended. “If I wasn’t taken by surprise the moment I stepped inside, my lance wouldn’t have overridden my judgment. Right now I’ve got three women more beautiful than ever… how was I suppose to react? If anything I should be mad that I can’t take you all right now.”

The three shared a look. Brooke said “He is right, if I hadn’t seen your beauty shine brighter than ever, I too would have mated you two. Loves’ let’s resume this after. I’m better now.” She wobbly stood, but recovered quickly before falling. “Thank you, loves.” She smiled back at the three doing the same. “Tohka, we must go. Meeka Love, make me proud and I will please you more strongly than usual.”
