My betas. You endure countless pages and re-reads. Questions. Emails. Texts. All without complaint. You are the first to read and I adore your feedback. Almost as much as I adore each of you.

Monique. Gratitude cannot begin to describe my appreciation for your friendship. I could never repay all the things you have done for me. You give unselfishly with no expectations of anything in return. Thank you for believing in me. Without a doubt I wouldn’t be where I am without you.

Amber. My girl. Where to start? The 2am texts that make me thankful my phone is locked? The countless conversations over branding? The randomness of nothing really but a half hour has gone by and we still have a thousand things to do? All of these make up our daily interactions and I love them all – like I do you!

Kiki. My Yoda. I honestly don’t know where to begin. I didn’t have a Facebook page. I had never heard of a teaser. I had less than zero knowledge of the business, and I asked you so many questions that some days I pictured you in the corner of your room rocking back and forth just to find a moment of solace. You never lost your patience with me. You always push me to do better. To work harder. Thank you for helping me be the best version of myself. To borrow your words – I love you so hard.

The bloggers. Countless hours, sweat and tears you pour into indie authors is truly unbelievable. It never ceases to amaze me the kindness you show and the desire to help make authors to be the best we can be. I am blown away by this community every day.

My readers. I have met so many wonderful people and have made so many friends during this experience. Ones I know I will have for life. I cannot thank you enough for investing your time and money in me. It is not something I take for granted.

My RBC girls. I thought of you often while writing Emme. So many of you make an appearance in her strength and character. I consider it one of my greatest accomplishments that I have played a part in your stories.

My family. I love you. Simple and true.
