  Jody couldn't take her eyes off him. It was like a dream or maybe a dream come true. Who would have ever thought that a man this beautiful would talk to her? He smiled when she didn't say anything else after a minute. A blush crept up her cheeks as she realized she was staring. “I'm sorry for staring,” she said, looking down at her hands and then back at him, “it's just like I feel like I know you from somewhere."

  Vincent felt his heart beat pick up the pace. It was what he had hoped for, prayed for with everything he had in him. She remembered him. She didn't remember everything, but somehow she had managed to hold on to a little piece of him. His smile outshone the sun as he continued talking to her, “Well, little lady, I'm sure if I had ever met you, I would know it, because I would never let you go once I got a hold of you.” And it was true, despite all the odds, he had come back to claim her, and claim her he would.
