Piper Dreams: Make It Happen (Dream Series Book 2) Page 15

  “Chocolate,” she said and smiled.

I scooped out some in a dish and placed it before her.

  “What’s your favorite?” she asked.

I reached under the shirt and touched her pussy. “Your sweet cream is my dessert.”

She squirmed out of my ministrations and gave me a wicked smile. “It’s my turn.” She looked around, and I motioned her to a small bathroom. Before the door was closed, she was tugging down my boxers and putting her cold mouth on my dick. I tensed, but her mouth warmed up quickly. She put just the right amount of grip at my base and sucked me to the back of her throat. Fuck. I grabbed that tangled mess of hair on her head and gripped, giving a few thrusts as she sucked me good, but I wanted back inside her sweet tight pussy. I fucked her mouth some more. She hollowed her cheeks and sucked me enough to make my dick swell up and leak. I was more than ready to fuck her. But Piper let me set the pace. She made all those noisy sounds while sucking my dick to make it good for me. Damn I loved that, but I wanted to get her pussy ready for me to fuck again.

Picking her up, I placed her on top of the counter. I slipped my hand between her thighs and stroked her slick flesh. She was wet, but not wet enough to take my cock yet. Flattening my tongue, I dragged over her slick folds, and then sucked on her swollen clit. I was getting off on the way she squirmed and grabbed my hair as I ate her. Her legs were shaking, and I knew she was getting close. I wanted her to come on my cock, so I pulled her off the counter and bent her over. I guided my dick to her pussy from behind then eased it in. Damn was she tight. She felt so good that I moaned like a chick. I loved how good her pussy sucked on my dick. Gripping her hips, I pushed in and out until she stretched enough for me to fit all the way in. I swatted her ass, and she jumped a little. “Ouch.” But she arched her back willing me for to do more and I wasn’t going to deny her. So I went for broke. I grabbed her hair and pulled her head back as I fucked her hard and slapped her tight ass. I pumped her pussy good until she was shaking and white-knuckling the counter.

“I can’t hold on.” She made me harder every time she cried out.

Thrusting in and out of her fast, I grabbed her sexy ass cheeks tight.

  “Come with me,” I growled.

She cried out as she came. Her pussy gripped my cock. Fuck, I couldn’t hold out another minute. I came so hard I was practically on my toes with the force. Her pussy drained every drop of cum in my cock. She felt so good. So right.

When I pulled out, she turned and hugged and squeezed me and I gave her the same back. Yeah. She was mine and mine to keep. We cleaned up and went back into the kitchen. The sound of Seren and Cole having sex in the living room let us know we weren’t alone. I loved the house, but it felt smaller with the four of us in it.

“We’ll work it out,” she said and took my hand as we moved toward the archway together. We walked on by the two of them without comment or increasing our pace. One thing about my Sprite was she adjusted to whatever came her way. It was another thing about her I admired and loved about her.

PIPER AND I waited in the Oncology waiting room for Seren and Cole to finish up their meeting with Dr. Friedman. I was happy to see she had put her trust and faith in Cole, but I still couldn’t help but feel left out when she asked to go in alone with him. Seeing Cole happy to have her faith and trust was all that made me feel less hurt about being pushed back. She was his wife, and even though when he returned to the war, she would be with me, they needed to strengthen their bond enough for him to go back. Piper’s hand trembled as she held mine. She was nervous for the both of us.

“What are you making for dinner tonight?” I asked to distract her. This was her first time being in a situation like this, and I knew how hard this could be.

“I’m making turkey and stuffing,” she answered.

I had to cover my mouth to suppress my laughter. “You do know that’s Thanksgiving dinner, and it’s summer.”

“I know, but I wanted to go big or go home,” she said. “Okay. I’ll text Fiona and ask her what would be a good summer meal.”

  “You’re cheating,” I teased.

“It’s not cheating. I’m cooking it. She’s just giving direction. All great chefs take direction.”

I leaned over and kissed her cheek. She was just too adorable. She kissed me back and lingered. My cock twitched.

“Here they come, so control yourself.” She smiled and looked over at Seren and Cole. Seren’s face was lit up, and so was Cole’s.

“We’ll talk outside,” he said. We went downstairs and outside where Seren threw her arms in the air and jumped up and down. “I’ve got new medications. The new test results showed that the cancer hasn’t progressed. The meds that are giving me an appetite are helping. I’ve gained a few pounds.”

I looked at Cole for more and Seren hit my shoulder. “Listen, and stop going around me. I’m good. We have a wedding and your girlfriend is going back to school.”

“So!” Piper said. “You’re more important than all of that.”

Cole and I beamed at her. “I’m beginning to like you, Firecracker. You cook well tonight, and you’re in good with me.”

She licked her tongue out at him.

“I’d watch that. Brat’s end up getting a spanking,” Seren told her.

  “Yep. So behave,” Cole said.

Piper looked at me. “He’s joking right,” she asked me.

“Sorry, Sprite. Masterson rules,” I said, and Cole, Seren and I shared our joy at keeping our straight face’s and fucking with Piper.

“I’m not getting spanked by Cole,” she mumbled.

I swatted her ass, and she ran a little ahead but stopped when we reached the car. We dropped off Cole first at the house and then the ladies at the salon.

“Not too short,” I warned Piper and Seren laughed. I gave them a stern facial expression back. I wasn’t kidding. I left them though and drove over to the tailor’s and got the measurements for the tuxedo. Once fitted, I got the tailor to take a photo to text to Piper. She sent the reply.

Mr. Whitehurst. I’m going to duck you so good when we get back.

I laughed out loud and texted back.

I’ll do the ducking. You scream, and we don’t have to wait until we get back. We can start in the car.

  She sent back.

  You’re insatiable!

  I wrote. And?

  I got the reply.

  And I love it :D

  How’s Seren?

She replied. She dyed her hair brunette and got some hair extensions. She looks beautiful. Don’t worry. I’m keeping an eye on her.

That eased me some, but I still made a call to Cole to get the inside story on Seren’s appointment. He answered and told me the rest.

“Seren was right about the weight gain. The test didn’t come back with more than what Dr. Mason found, but Friedman is cautious and wants to run some more. She did prescribe new meds and the weight gain and pain meds are helping.”

  “How are you?” I asked.

He sighed into the phone. “You know me. She’s good. I’m good. That’s the only way I can be right now.”

“You don’t have to be. I’m here for you.”

“I know you are, but you know how it is. I’m here, and this is now. We’ll be fine.”

“You want to go to the gym later?” I asked him.

  “That’ll be good.”

  “Alright. See you.”

Cole couldn’t get off the phone fast enough, and I didn’t blame him. He had all he wanted, and that’s all he wanted to think about. I had it too and maybe he was right. Things were good, and I’d just go with it.

I went to pick up our ladies and found Seren had the hairstyle Piper described on the phone. And Piper had her hair layered up to just past her shoulders. She held up the long ponytail she cut off. “This goes off to Locks of Love.” She did a twirl around to show off her new hairstyle. “What do you think?”

  I mourned a little as I
loved the long hair, but she still had enough for me to grab when she’s sucked my cock or fucked her, so I was alright.

“I think you both look beautiful.” They kissed my cheek, and I got them back into the SUV long enough to go on down to the cake place. I went in to see what she chose. One of the cakes was the traditional tiered floral pretty one. The “Fun” cake was military themed.

“Are you Seren’s husband?” The cake hostess asked us.

  “One of them,” I joked.

Piper and Seren went with it, and they just brought us out a few cakes to taste. I didn’t have a sweet tooth, but Seren and Piper did and ate through about seven samples before they decided on the vanilla cream and chocolate one they’d tried in the first place. Seeing Seren so happy and how easy she was with Piper was making me wonder why I hadn’t tried this in the first place. Piper was fitting in with us like a dream.

  Chapter Fifteen

  Piper

“I’M A MASTER chef,” I bragged as I checked on the baked ricotta and grilled radicchio. Okay. Fiona had sent me a link to Nigella Lawson’s website, and I’d been showcasing my (ability to follow a recipe) skills most of the week.

Seren paused between chopping up the salad. “Have you noticed, Cole and Brody have stopped making dinner?” Seren motioned her head towards the living room.

I marched over to the door and peered at Brody and Cole playing a driving video game on the couch and sucking back beers! Brody was in on this too?! “I’ve been had!”

  Seren broke into hysterical laughter.

I tried to hold onto my frown, but I too was finding it funny. “You’ve married a con man.”

She wiped her eyes. “We honestly didn’t expect you to get so into it. You were so happy cooking we didn’t want to ruin your fun.”

She was right. I had been enjoying cooking for them all week. Brody and Cole were more than accommodating in taking me over and again to the grocery store for every little spice I needed. And they all celebrated with me on each successful meal. We were truly getting along fine. After the initial awkwardness of seeing each other have sex that was completely out of my comfort zone, we had compromised. Brody added locks to the bedroom door. And I had taken to listening at the stairs before I went down to avoid seeing Seren and Cole have sex. I had a brief bit of worry that this was something that the three of them were leading me to do—group sex—but I was wrong. In fact, when I did run into them, I found they were so caught up in each other it was as if no one else existed. Although I still kept my eyes on the floor, if they decided to have sex in my new space, the kitchen.

Truthfully, I couldn’t throw stones. I had become just as insatiable. I couldn’t get enough of Brody. All he had to do was look at me, and I was all hot and bothered. It was almost scary. Though I soothed my conscience by telling myself, I was storing up for the time that I’d be in school, which was fast approaching. Come to think of it, I was juggling the wedding, my job, Spanish lessons, and getting ready for the next semester. And cooking! The last one was coming to an end today I thought as I stomped into the living room.

“Dinner smells pretty good, Ms. Rowe,” Cole said barely pausing from his game.

“Last meal you’ll get, Mr. Masterson. I expect grilled salmon and new potatoes tomorrow.” That had him doing another take.

I jutted my chin, and he glanced at Brody. That was all it took for the two of them to laugh.

I saw my opportunity to retaliate and took it. I grabbed his remote control and crashed his cars in their race.

  “Go Piper!” Seren cheered.

I didn’t get a chance to celebrate though. Brody and Cole had me pinned on the floor before the remote control hit the floor. My hands were secured by one of Cole’s and my legs by Brody.

“The food will burn,” I sung out.

I felt a hard swat on my ass. “We’ll get takeout.”

  “Ouch! Brody!”

“That was Cole. Here’s mine,” Brody’s spank was more of a grope than a swat.

My face flushed, and I let out a shuddering breath.

  “God, you’re pussy-whipped,” Cole said.

  Brody scoffed. “Coming from you?”

Still, they let me go. Well, Brody didn’t let me get too far and pulled me on his lap.

“Hell, I admit it,” Cole grabbed Seren and buried his head in her lap.

“Hey, what happened to the summer dresses?” Brody said. Cupping the front of my jeans.

“You just answered your question,” I replied as he tried to work his hand inside my jeans. Persistent much? Luckily my phone chimed to save my already (corrupt) virtue.

“Tell Matt I said hola,” Seren said. Brody made a face, but let me go and I went to collect my phone and looked down at the screen. The blood drained from my face. “It’s not Matt. It’s my mom.”

  “You okay?” Brody asked.

  “Yeah,” I answered.

“Just a minute,” I said into the phone, covering the receiver with my hand I met Brody’s eyes that were staring back at me. “I’m going to talk to her upstairs.” I mouthed to him.

“Good idea,” he said. I sighed in relief, and I walked up the stairs and into the bedroom. “I’m back,” I announced.

“It’s me. Your mom.” She said as if I didn’t recognize her voice.

“I know it’s you. Did I leave something else at your home you need picked up by tomorrow?” I snipped.

“No, and I’m sorry for doing that. I didn’t know what to do after you lied and betrayed me.”

I ran my hand over my churning stomach. “I’m sorry for lying to you. I should have told you, but I knew you wouldn’t approve of my plan or the trip. You’d have forbidden me to go like I was still a child.”

She scoffed. “You are a child and will always be my child. You handled your deceit like a child, but you and Royce—”

“If you still believe I came on to your disgusting pervert of a husband, then we have nothing to talk about, and I’m hanging up,” I said vehemently.

“Wait. I’m sorry for that.” She blew out a breath. “Honestly, I don’t know what to believe, and that’s why I’d like to talk this out with you. Can we meet?”

“I’m not in Boston, I’m in Colorado Springs with my biker boyfriend,” I said sardonically.

She cursed. “I knew it was a mistake to not help you with school. Now you’re set on making the same mistakes that I made with my life.”

I tightened my jaw. “You don’t have to worry. I’m not you. I’m going back to school.”

  “How?” she asked.

“Brody, the biker you dislike without even knowing, gave me a loan until I sell the bike Dad gave me, not that you care.”

She spoke over me. “Oh, I do care about you, Piper. I can see you are just as caught up with your biker as I was with your dad and about ready to listen as much as I was willing to listen to my parents—”

“Glad you get you won’t be able to tell me who I can see. I’m an adult—”

“—that still hides stuff from me,” she retorted.

  “Not anymore,” I said contemptuously.

“Yeah. I see that. Fine, I won’t talk about your infatuation. I can tell you about your dad’s bike though. You can’t sell it. I doubt you can find it. I’m almost sure he sold that bike years ago.”

I frowned. “He did not. It was in Luna’s garage. He left it there for me. It’s as good as sold.” We were quiet for a few seconds before she spoke again.

“Listen. I don’t want to talk about this over the phone. I’d like to see you… I miss you,” she said, and a pang went through my chest.

Even after everything that happened, I wanted to see her too. But I couldn’t stop myself from saying to her. “You kicked me out of your house. You sided with Royce over me. You took back your promise to help me with school. Why on earth would I want to see you?”

“So, if I give you something I can buy myself back into your life? I worked three jobs to support us if you don’t reme
mber. When your father was wondering off to find himself.”

“He was working on a story,” I said defensively.

“You always defend him. You always have sympathy for him, but you never have any for me. You never appreciate all the sacrifices I made to give your father room to go after that story. I worked hard to keep him going. I built him up when he failed. Now you are behaving just like him. I have to give you something to be a part of your life.”

“You don’t have to give me anything, even though you promised to help me out. I didn’t put you out of my life. You did that yourself,” I spat out.

“This is not going the way I wanted this to go. Why are you so difficult with me? I called to fix our relationship. I don’t want to put you out of my life. I love you, Piper. You’re my flesh and blood. I don’t like what happen, but I want our relationship,” she said. She let out a sniffle, and my stomach turned over. I didn’t like myself for making her cry.

“I’m sorry.” I sat back on the bed. “I want us to get along too, but I don’t see how we can with Royce still around.”

“He admitted you only sent one photo,” she said barely audible.

“A picture of my face; because he demanded it,” I said just as quietly.

“Please, Piper. When you return, will you see me?” she asked.

I closed my eyes. “Yes. I’ll call, and we can meet up when I get back.”

“Thank you,” she said. We were quiet for a few moments before she said. “Talk to you soon.” And we hung up the phone. I threw the phone down and covered my face with my hands. A knock came on the door, and I looked up to find Brody with Seren and Cole following him.

  “Are you alright?” he asked.

My throat was too tight to speak. He came over and pulled me into his arms and Cole and Seren gave me some comfort too, by smoothing my hair and back. After I’d calmed down some, I asked. “What about the baked ricotta?”

Brody kissed the top of my head. “We don’t care.”

“You’re more important than dinner,” Seren said.

“Hey, it’s a good dinner. Let’s go and have dinner,” I said.

“Alright. You heard the lady, Brody. Bring her downstairs,” Cole said. We all got up, and Brody half carried me downstairs to the kitchen for dinner. We all sat down to eat the meal. They were all complimentary, but I couldn’t stop thinking about my mother. She had a way of making me feel bad without meaning to. I knew she was alone in her world, but she was always so ready to judge and criticize my life. Was it possible my dad sold the bike before he died? If the bike belonged to someone else, it would have come up by now. Luna would definitely have told me. Then again, my mother always had a way of making me feel that parts of Dad’s life were forever a mystery to me.
