“I’m glad you approve.” A soft sound escaped him. “And I totally approve of what you’re doing with your tongue.”
She pursed her lips around his nipple. “You do, huh? I didn’t think men were all that sensitive here.”
His voice sounded choked as he whispered, “No? Well, I am.”
A hum of satisfaction escaped her—like she hadn’t known her husband had sensitive nipples. She’d never mentioned it before because guys could be weird, but she’d noticed. Boy, had she.
She flickered her tongue again, smiling when his hands began to slip through her hair, combing the locks as he arched his hips, nudging his growing cock into her belly.
“Minx,” he growled suddenly. “We’re supposed to be sleeping.”
Fully awake now, she peered up at him. Though it was dark, the moon was full, and she could see him quite well in the dark illumination of the still night. He was beautiful, lying there like some kind of ancient God. Perfect.
Well, perfect for her.
“You want to put in a complaint?” she asked drily, her own complaint could only be that her other men were sleeping in their own beds tonight. Since the disbanding of the UnReals, with security slackening as a result, they’d taken to camping down with her—score!
The christening tomorrow had halted play tonight. There would be too much activity in their wing in the morning for them to escape to their own rooms without being spotted.
It sucked, but hell, tomorrow night looked set to be fun. With a capital F.
He snickered against her temple. “Yeah. I want to put in a complaint. A formal one.”
That had her pouting. “What for?”
“You stopped,” he told her silkily, then, bowing his head, he connected their mouths and they didn’t speak for a very, very long time.
THE END
“A King can’t be a King without the strength of his Queen.”

AUTHOR’S NOTE:
OMG!! The trilogy is complete. I’m so sad and glad and happy and upset. All at the same time. This book kicked me in the balls. LOL. If I had any, of course. ?? But yeah, it just kept growing. That shouldn’t have come as a surprise. What started off as an idea for a standalone book developed into three monster books for a kickass trilogy that I’m soooooooooo beyond proud of.
Perry, on her journey from commoner to royal, just grew in ways I could never have foreseen. I love that her vulnerability is something she can own up to with her men, and I love that her men were strong but had weaknesses of their own.
I truly hope you’ve fallen for Edward, Xavier, and George as much as I have. But more than that, I hope Perry’s done me proud and that you love her for the kickass, snarky chick she is. I’m not sure many women could take to being Queen as quickly as she did. Never mind with all that crap going down with the UnReals! I know I sure as hell couldn’t have coped! She’s my hero!! Well, heroine. :D
Thank you, as always, for reading.
