The Dimension Travel Trilogy: A Three Part Science Fiction And Fantasy Novel Page 36

by Pidoriano, Joseph

"Well, let's start off with this. I was walking around to get your kerosene and matchbox. I found a tent that showed the appearance of a mobile hardware store. This tent featured a number of items. I found the kerosene without a problem. But, finding the matches was a mind twisting situation. I opened his tent to make sure that no one was present. Luckily, the tent was unoccupied. From there, I entered the tent. This tent featured many items from simple items like nails to complex items like power drills. I ransacked the tent and, I finally found the loaded matchbox. I left the tent. The surrounding area of the tent was disorganized. I walked away from the tent. I was being followed by a royal officer from Starmos City.

All of a sudden, this officer flashed a machete in front of me.

This man was a gargantuan like a beastly Lion. He was intimidating and nasty. I introduced myself to him basically, incriminating myself.

He introduced himself by the name of Brutis. From there, he wanted me to shake his hand. Of course, being the gullible one, I shook his right hand. He handcuffed my right hand. From there, he wanted me to shake his left hand. But, I ran away from the officer and I jumped into the valley over here. The officer asked for my location. I lied to him and said that I was by the pond. From there, I ran into your dwelling. And, you know what happened", answered Will.

He asked, "Does anyone have any questions regarding this?"

"I've got one", answered Tom. "Yes", replied Will. "While you were at it. Did you get a Cup O' Joe?" asked Tom. "No, I didn't. And, also, that was not necessary to ask", answered Will. "Now, does anybody have any other questions that are not stupid?" he asked. "Yes", answered Light. "And, what would that be?" asked Will. "I would like to know if you were at any close calls with this crazy nut job", said Light.

"Oh, I had plenty of close calls. The first one was with the machete. I don't think that I would've survived if I was oblivious to my environment. The second close call was when this crazy crackpot tried to apprehend me because I gave him the handshake. I should have never shaken his hand. Finally, the third close call was me hiding in the valley. He was clearly able to see me hide in the valley and yet, he was gullible enough to walk to the placid pond", replied Will. "Did you learn anything from these instances?" asked Jack. "Oh, I learned plenty of lessons", answered Will.

"And, would you tell me about the lessons that you've learned from this incident?" asked Mr. Woodston. "Sure, the things that I learned from this incident were not to be so quick to shake everybody's hand, know who to respect and who not to respect, and know your friends and, know the fiends", answered Will. "Well, it's a good thing that you learned from this issue. This issue shall be an important life lesson for you, boy", replied Jack. "Why would you say such a thing?" asked Will. "Because, I guess once in a while or, in everything you do there a lessons that one must learn in life", answered Jack. "Do you think that you're some wise spirit?" asked Will. "No, I am just Jack Woodston", answered the male fox.

"Now, I need to ask you if there's any way to rescue this city from the brute aliens?" asked Will. "Well, there's one way that you can", answered Jack. "What way is that?" asked Tom. "Wait and I will fetch a plan over for you", answered Jack. "Okay", replied Tom. Jack walked down the hallway to his personal closet which is adjacent to his bedroom. This closet features jackets and different flat hats.

Hidden in the back of the closet is an important parchment scroll, that's tied together by a ribbon.

Chapter VIII: The Escape Plan, The second encounter with the Goliath Sized Officer, The arrival in Garden City, and meeting Mr. and Mrs. Spazerstock

Jack Woodston retrieved the parchment scroll. This scroll had the appearance of a worn-out, dusty piece of paper. But, yet it has never been used. The male fox walked over to the table with this scroll. He placed the paper of importance on top of the shale stone dining table. "Well, guys, here's the important paper", he said ecstatically. He removed the ribbon from the scroll. All of a sudden, the scroll started to open on its own. This event is out of the ordinary and, it's a far cry from dullness. The supernatural started to occur. The scroll featured a map, directions, and orders.

The orders are in a numerical list. Light read the scroll stated to the viewer: Sir or Ma'am, master or mistress, madam or sir, and lady or gentleman, this message is an important message for you.

Now, you will have to say 'Methusa Medusula, come out of the Earth, emerge from the walls. May your the honorable witch, Strega Emerge." All of a sudden the ground started to shake like a supermassive Earthquake. The rocky floor started to crack and, a witch started to emerge from the ground. This witch looks as light as a fluorescent lightbulb and, she lit up the cave. She is wearing a green, snake skin, cloak. She has hair as white as an albino rabbit.

"Who is this?" she asked. Everyone introduced themselves.

"Now, I can see that you called me to come over here. What exactly do you want?" she asked. "I need your help. You see these three guys have a problem. Their problem is that aliens from Starmos City are coming after them because of an arbitrary government. They were arrested and escaped. Right now, the alien city is in chaos and they're soon going to bring their troubles to our planet. The point of them doing this is to hunt their three fugitives down. They're right in front of you and, they're innocent ones", answered Jack. "Now, I'm just wondering, how did you meet these three?" asked Strega.

"I was walking by the placid pond to walk up to Hunter Lake.

From there, I met four fellows. I was creeped out by the alien sitting next to me initially, Tom, was scared of me because I am a talking fox, the mayor thought he was superior to me, and I was just a loner walking in the woodlands. Then, Will, the benevolent alien sitting next to me decided to help me go for a fish. And, due to his strength, we caught a Sockeye Salmon Fish. Tom fell through the roof here on top of my traitor ex-wife. And, this is how I met these three", answered Jack. The witch pointed to Will.

"I need to ask you a question", she said. "And, what would that be?" asked Will. "Would you mind giving me a story about what has been going on in Starmos City?" asked Strega. "Sure", answered Will. He paused.

"Now, Starmos City is my birthplace because you can tell by the out of the ordinary color of my skin. I am Cornelius Von Alien's distant cousin, who was invited to work at the Alien Estate. Cornelius Von Alien, I discovered, was a tyrannical brute who tried to poison two gentle fellows. And, that was when I disowned my distant cousin.

From there, he tried to make me poison the two guests who were visiting. Instead, I poisoned him. He fell unconscious. Light, Tom, and I decided to flee the estate discreetly without getting caught by some Royal Guard. We arrived at the two gigantic doors. All of a sudden, a group of twenty five Royal Guards came swarming down.

From there, we were shackled and tossed into a pitch black, sensory depriving holding cell. Fortunately, our senses weren't deprived. Each one of us was taken to his court at a different time. We were read our charges and then arbitrarily sentenced to life in the hole without parole. I managed to escape because I slipped my shackles. I stayed at the government owned, luxurious Star Hotel for a temporary amount of time. After nearly an hour or two of staying at the hotel, I ran back over to the estate, where the my two fellow fugitives were in captivity in the hole. From there, I liberated them and, now, we are over here in California County. There's more to this story. But, I don't want to get too involved in the drama", answered Will. "Before, I cast the good spell on you guys, you must tell me the whole story, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God.This guy didn't admit fully to telling the whole story. Now, Tom, I would love it if you please tell me the rest of the story", replied Strega.

"Now, this is what happened, we were free men. But, there was a prosecutor reporting on our escape from the Alien Estate. We disguised ourselves to coax her into thinking that we're fellow prosecutors. She fell for us being prosecutors. From there, she welcomed us into her van, which looked really nice. However, the only problem that I had wit
h her besides the want for the prosecution prosecute me is that, she was very arrogant and condescending, especially to her fellow co-workers and camera crew members. She had a nasty and disrespectful demeanor. She would treat her employees like slaves. But, yet she was nice to us. She was especially nasty to the chef who decided to put some sort of poison in her food.

From there, she had fallen asleep. Her employee and I were talking about how nasty she was. From there, I told the employee that we're fugitives. Somehow she overheard it. We walked out of the RV. She wanted to arrest us and take us down. But, unfortunately she couldn't", answered Tom. "Is that the whole story about your experience?" asked Strega.

"No", answered Light. "Well, this is what I'll have to say to you. You will be telling me the rest of the story", replied the witch.

"Now, there hasn't been much more experience in the alien city since the incident with the prosecutor and imprisonment took place. After, fleeing from the prosecutor, we went to the gas station. I was fueled up. Now, I am sure you're wondering why a robot would get filled up at a gas station. Well, I am a shapeshifter because I was built in a factory and I am sun-proof. So, that means that I can survive comfortably on the sun. However, I can't survive for long periods of time on the sun. I can survive sun-storms, and also travel at mach one thousand speeds. More importantly, let's get back to the story. Now, I was fueled up. Finally, it was a relief getting ready for the open road.

But, unfortunately, we now, had to encounter a roadblock by the Starmos Police Department.

All of the officers were checking all of the vehicles exiting the city to make sure that we were not in them. Fortunately, the officer searched our vehicle and, he didn't know that we were on the road leaving. We were able to leave the city. Now, I was thinking it was a relief for that ordeal to be over. But, it was far from over. Now, the prosecutor decided to go on the air waves. She announced to all of the citizens of Starmos City that we were on the loose and, she also sought an approval to carry out an invasion in California County to find the three of us. Fortunately, we evacuated to Earth in time to alert the mayor that Cornelius and the malevolent alien government were coming to invade Earth and, all of the citizens are now evacuated and, here we are today", said Light dramatically. "Interesting story", replied the witch. "Now, what are you going to do to help us?" asked Jack. "Oh nothing, yet", answered the witch.

"Why?" asked Will angrily. "Young man, don't you take that tone with me", answered the witch abruptly. "I am not taking any tone with you", replied Will. He sighed in exasperation. "Excuse me, don't lie to me, young man", argued the witch. "Who do you think you are to call me 'young man'?" asked Will. "I am Strega the witch", she answered. "And, who are you to be so bold to me?" "I am Will Von Alien", answered the innocent alien fugitive. "Now, you are representing your alien city. And, do you want to place a bad vibe out there and, do you want to make people look at your city in a horrible way?" she asked. "My origin is already bad enough. How much worse can it get?" asked Will.

"I can put a spell on you. Then, things will become way much worse than it is presently", answered the witch. "Okay, very well then.

I guess I'll keep my mouth shut", replied Will. "Thank you", said Strega. She walked over to the back of the kitchen to the primary pit.

"What are you doing?" asked Jack. "I am getting something that is important", answered the witch in her soft spoken voice. She placed her pointing index finger in the soot remains of the cooked breakfast.

Her green finger was turned into a black stub with a nail. She walked up to the table and, wiped her finger across the map. After doing that, the map lifted off the ground. The trio of fugitives’ eyes started to open widely in shock. Jack fainted being one of the first-hand witnesses of this occult scene. The map started to float in midair facing the trio of fugitives.

"Now, guys, it is up to you to help rescue the Earthlings. With great power, comes great responsibility. Make all of your decisions wisely and carefully. Now, I am sure that your eyebrows are raised regarding some questions that you may ask. So, I am going to take some questions in a couple of minutes. But, I will describe to you the map. Like most other maps, it is typical for this map to have a key or a symbol box, usually on the bottom right hand corner. This box will show you all of the places that you will have to go through or reach.

The circle represents you. This obsolete looking map can detect your location very easily. The square represents the major points on the map. I will tell you about the major points of interest later. But, your main point of interest is the Garden City. You all will be heading there. I will give you the token to take you there", said the Witch.

She disappeared after she said this. The room just became empty after she vanished and the lighting returned back to the dependence on the oil lamps. "She disappeared quite quickly", said Jack. The scroll fell back onto the shale table. All of a sudden the map disappeared. "Light, see how much fuel you got", said Will. "I have plenty of fuel to go to the Garden City", replied Light. "Okay, are you ready to go?" asked Will.

"Yes", answered Light. "To everyone, I wish you all a good voyage. Farewell", said Jack. Everybody said A Goodbye to Jack Woodston. Will crawled through the tiny thirty six inch opening and, he left the Fox's abode. Tom followed and, then Light was the last one to leave the abode. Now, that the trio of fugitives left the abode, they have to discuss a plan for the evacuation from California County, New York. The trio of fugitives huddled in the valley and started to discuss their plan. "What do you want to do?" asked Light. "I don't know", answered Tom. "I have the plan", answered Will. "What plan do you got up your sleeve?" asked Tom. "I am going to go over this plan in chronological order. First thing and foremost thing to do is to, be extremely sneaky and quiet when we're going into town. Noises are the official calling of evil. Now, continuing on, after sneaking into town, Light, you will shapeshift into a vehicle. From there, you will continue on going down Goodluck Street. You will then turn down the municipal street and, use it as your take off pad. Once you take off, you'll exit Planet Earth and, travel to the Garden City", answered Will.

"I have a question", replied Tom. "And, what would that be?" asked the benevolent alien.

"Why do you have to use the municipal street as the take off pad?" asked Tom. "Because all the other streets in town are only a quarter of a mile long if not less. And, the municipal street in town is two miles long which is a lot of space for a takeoff pad", answered Will. "I guess it makes a lot of sense", replied Light. "Alright, so is everyone ready to carry out the plan?" asked Will. "Yes", answered Light. Tom refused to give an answer. "What's wrong, Tom?" asked Will. "Nothing", answered Tom. "Well, why aren't you answering the question that I asked you just now?" asked Will. "Because I don't agree with what you're saying. I think that we should use the business street as the takeoff pad instead of the municipal street", answered Tom. "Let's get some things straight. First, I am the leader of the group. Secondly, this way is going to be safer and quicker because this road is the most secure road in town. And, thirdly, it is not your prerogative to tell Light or I where to go", replied Will.

"It is my right. You should have to explain to me everything.

Why should I have to explain everything to you when you don't explain everything to me?" asked Tom. "First of all, I am the leader of the group. I am the benevolent, chosen one. And, I have great power and, I am extremely responsible. Unlike you, you're extremely irresponsible. You jump into a lake because you see a talking fox. You shouldn't be creeped out by a talking fox. Because, if you weren't creeped out by a talking green alien, why should you be creeped out by a talking Red Fox?" asked Will. "What does this have to do with what's goin' on right now?" asked Tom. "Good point. You're right, it has nothing to do with what's going on right now. You know what, we should get ready to head over to Garden City", answered Will. "Thank you", replied Tom. "Maybe, you should be the leader", said the benevolent alien sarcastically. "You know what. Maybe you're right.

  Maybe I
should be the leader. I think it would be better if I was the leader. Besides, I carry a huge ego on me. And, I am super proud and, you're not", replied Tom. "Let me tell you something, Tom. I will have Light leave you here if you keep acting so pompous and so egotistical. If you keep acting like you know everything, I am going to really flip out on you. And, you don't want that to happen", said Will.

"Yeah, uh huh. You're so right", replied Tom sarcastically.

"Thank you for saying that", said Will happily. "Yeah, yeah, yeah.

You're very very welcome", replied Tom sarcastically once again.

They continued walking. Light is silent as a mouse. Eventually, they climbed the steep, Earthly walls of the valley. The agile alien climbed up first. As, he is climbing up, erosion started to take place in the ground. He slipped down the hill back into the valley. "What's wrong?" asked Tom. "Oh, nothing", answered Will. "You know, if the leader is hurt. I guess that you'll have to leave the leadership position.

So, tough luck for you", replied Tom.

"Hey, that's not fair. I am still able to get up. Here I'll show you", said Will angrily. The benevolent, natural born leader alien sprung up immediately after he slipped into the valley. He ran up the Earthly wall like a cheetah running up a tree to catch its prey. Tom had a facial expression of shock. His mouth opened in shock like a gaping hole in the Earth. His eyes widened like a bug and, he was impressed. "Forget about all of the things that I said about you. You're going to continue being the leader of this expedition from now on.

After all, we have to rescue the citizens of Earth", said Tom. He trekked up the slanted, nine foot tall, dirt wall. Light was waiting at the bottom of the valley. "As a robot, I am not going to be able to make it", he said.
