After the service, we headed out to the grave site to have a ceremony of releasing the doves, since there were no bodies to bury. The ushers walked around handing every family member in attendance a white dove. She handed me mine and I made eye contact with Ralph. Hitting him with a head nod, he shrugged his shoulders.
The Pastor told everyone to release their doves. The same moment the doves touched the sky, the bodies of the officers who were in attendance with me dropped. Ralph ran over to me and pushed me to the ground. He quickly unchained me and pushed me into a black car that was waiting for me.
Inside, I rubbed my wrist and relaxed my body; I was finally a free nigga. The judge ordered my death because of the death of officer Jacobs and the other twenty-three felonies that I had against me. He declared me an animal and basically said I didn’t deserve to live.
When the judge asked me what was my last request before I died, I told him I wanted to attend my wife’s funeral. I had Lisa hold off on putting together a service, until I was able to perfect my escape plan.
Boarding my private plane, I headed to Colombia to start my new life. The states held too many losses for me so I was ready to start over somewhere new. When my plane touched down, I was greeted by my driver who took me to a beautiful villa.
“Bienvenido a casa, mi hijo,” my father said shaking my hand. (Welcome home my son)
“Gracias padre,” I replied. (Thank you father)
“Ve a buscar situada en su nuevo hogar. Seré más tarde para hablar con usted,” he said getting inside the same car that dropped me off. (Go get situated in your new house. I will be by later to talk to you)
I walked inside my new home and was smacked in the face by the smell of chicken being fried.
“You cooking for daddy?” I said wrapping my arms around Lala’s waist.
Dropping the spoon she turned around with tears in her eyes.
“How did you get out?”
“Didn’t I tell you to trust me?” I said kissing away her tears.
“Good, now shut up and kiss me.” She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me with so much passion that I was swallowing all the love she had for me.
“Can I call Lisa now?” she asked.
My father had given Lala strict orders not to contact anyone in the U.S. Everyone was under the impression her and the kids were dead except Ralph. That day Joey came and blew the house up, one of my security guards were able to spot him. Jumping into action, he had Lala, Anna and the kids escape through the escape tunnel I had built in the house.
They were able to make it out alive, two seconds before the house blew up. The security guards drove them to his house then contacted my father. My father had the immediately moved to Colombia. Using their fake death to my advantage, I began planning my escape.
“No not yet. Ralph wants to surprise her at our wedding.”
“Our wedding?”
“Yes, you still want to marry me, right?”
“Of course!” she beamed.
“Good, now finish up dinner, I’m hungry,” I said smacking her on the ass.
“You are one clever bastard,” Anna said when I walked inside the kids’ room.
“Clever is what was printed on my birth certificate; Anthony is just some alias I go by,” I joked pulling her in for a hug.
“Anna, you rocking with us in Colombia or do you want us to send you back when everything dies down?” I asked.
“All my kids are grown, what I’mma do back in the states? I’m here rocking with my babies,” she said kissing me.
“Good.”
I walked over to my three kids who were sleeping so peacefully. Giving them a kiss, I thanked God for giving me a chance to make things right. I was finally out the game for good and I was able to make it out with my life and my family. Life was good, all thanks to the most high.
EPILOGUE
“What the fuck I look like going to some stranger’s wedding?” Lisa snapped as she and Ralph boarded the plane.
“Lisa, chill out. This is a good business move,” Ralph said trying to calm her down.
“Whatever,” Lisa replied placing her iPhone’s headphones in her ears.
They finally landed in Colombia. The driver drove them to the villa they would be staying in until the wedding.
“Everything you need for the wedding is in your rooms,” the maid said showing them around the villa.
“This dress is bad!” Lisa said spinning around in the mirror.
“That ass sitting fat in it too,” Ralph said grabbing her by the waist.
“Can y’all nasty asses go a day without tryna fuck. I’m surprised her ass ain’t pregnant yet,” Terri said walking in the room dressed in an all-white Vera Wang fitted gown.
“That’s because she popping them pills, killing my little swimmers,” Ralph said smacking Lisa hard on the ass.
“Lisa, I’mma deal with you later,” Terri warned, before walking out of the room.
“You see how you done got me in trouble?” Lisa laughed punching Ralph in the chest.
“Excuse me Lisa, someone has requested to speak with you,” the maid said knocking on the door before entering.
“Who?” Lisa asked with a puzzled look on her face.
“The person asked to remain unidentified.”
“Okay hold on, let me get a weapon. Damn I should’ve brought Nina,” Lisa said looking around the room for something she could use as a weapon.
“You don’t need Nina, trust me, just go,” Ralph assured her.
Lisa walked out of the room and followed the maid down a long corridor. They walked past five closed doors before the finally made it to their destination. The maid stopped then held the door open for Lisa.
“You ain’t going in there with me?” Lisa asked.
The maid shook her head ‘no’ then walked away.
“I’mma fuck around and catch a murder charge in Colombia,” Lisa said before walking inside the room.
“OMG!!!!!!!” Lisa yelled out as she came face to face with Lala. “Bitch if you wasn’t looking so cute I would fuck your ass up!” Lisa yelled running to give Lala a hug.
“I’m sorry, I wanted to call you, I swear I did, but Stacks’ father was being a dick.”
“How the fuck is this possible?” Lisa asked taking a seat on the couch.
Lala took a seat next to her and began explaining the story to her. By the time Lala finished, Lisa was sitting there with her mouth hanging open. She was so shocked that she had to get up and pour herself a glass of the Moscato that was sitting on the counter.
“Girl, close your mouth before something fly in it,” Anna said entering the room with the kids.
“Omg, you too Anna? Y’all just some deceitful motherfuckers!” Lisa said pouring herself another another glass. “Oh my God, look at my babies. They got so big!” Lisa yelled out kissing the kids one by one.
“Your mommy almost gave goddie a heart attack. I thought I lost y’all,” Lisa said with tears in her eyes.
“I’m sorry,” Lala said wrapping her arms around Lisa.
“I forgive you this time. Don’t do that shit no more. You had me out here auditioning bitches to take your place.”
“There could only be one Lala,” Lala laughed.
“Today you’re wedding day, huh?” Lisa asked looking Lala over.
Lala was dressed in a dramatic white Gothic Couture Sweetheart wedding dress that made love to her curves. Her hair was done in curls that were swooped into a bun. The makeup artist Stacks hired had her face looking flawless.
“You look amazing,” Lisa said. “I need to find me a gun.
“Why?” Lala asked.
“If a bitch crashes this wedding I’m killing their ass on spot. I don’t care. You will become Mrs. Anthony Jones today.”
“You so crazy,” Lala said.
“It’s time,” someone said knocking on the door.
“Okay, here’s y
our bouquet. Go so they can tell you what to do,” Lala said pushing Lisa out of the door.
In the hallway a makeup team quickly went over Lisa’s makeup as the wedding planner explained to her what she was supposed to do.
“All of Me” by John Legend played in the beautifully decorated church as Lisa and Ralph walked down the aisle. When they took their posts, Terri and Anna walked down the aisle with the kids. The song switched to “XO” by Beyoncé. Everyone stood as Lala walked down the aisle. There was not a dry face in the room as she made her way to the front of the church. Stacks’ father gave her away and the ceremony began.
“You may now kiss the bride,” the pastor said allowing Stacks and Lala to seal the deal.
The crowd cheered as they finally jumped the broom without any interruptions.
“You’re mine forever,” Stacks said as they shared their first dance.
“Really? So that means I can’t sneak off in the bathroom with one of these men?” Lala joked.
“Unless you want them to lose their life.”
“You so violent,” Lala replied.
“Only when it comes to what’s mine.”
Everyone enjoyed themselves at Anthony and Lala Jones’ wedding. They partied hard like rock stars as they celebrated the overdue union. The reception started to simmer down as Stacks and Lala disappeared to consummate their marriage.
“I thought you were out the game,” Lala yelled out to Stacks as she got dressed for a very important business meeting.
“I am. That doesn’t mean I don’t get a percentage out of the money that’s made. I’m like a silent partner. I don’t say nothing, but I still get paid,” Stacks replied.
“Oh I see. Maybe I can open up a clinic here.”
“Nah.”
“What you mean nah?”
“Your job now is to sit home and have my babies.”
“You got life fucked up.”
“Mrs. Jones, I am not going to argue with you about this so I am ending this discussion. Hurry up and finished getting dressed. Don’t even think about rolling them eyes!” Stacks said walking out the room.
“Welcome everyone,” Stacks said standing in front of a conference room of his crew.
“As you all know I am officially out the game. My home is now in Colombia with my family. I’m passing everything down to my right hand Ralph. Joining forces with Ralph will be Cole, Chad, and Rob. With the four of you boss niggas in the game, we about to take over the state of Florida, that’s how big I’m tryna expand. I have this vision, and with y’all on my team I know it’s going to come to life. I have faith in this dream team I created and I know y’all about to be a force to be reckoned with.
As a silent partner, I am entitled to forty percent of everything. If anyone has a problem with that you can walk. Another thing, this is a family. We are going to make money, eat, sleep, breathe, kill, and die for each other. Snakes will get cut up and fed to the wolves. If you have a problem, hop on the private jet and come holla at me. Everything can be resolved by talking it out. Everyone is going to be making a lot of money, so that shouldn’t be an issue. I’m building this empire off of loyalty! Y’all with me or nah?” Stacks said raising his glass.
Everyone in the room raised their glasses as a form of agreement and sealed the deal by taking a sip of their drinks.
Ralph’s phone started ringing. Looking at the caller ID he saw it was a call from his daughter Riley. Walking out the room, he found a quiet spot then answered the phone.
“Hello?”
“Daddy! Daddy! Someone is in the house,” Riley said in a frantic whisper.
“Where’s mommy?” Ralph asked.
“Mommy is hurt. The bad man hit mommy in the head with a gun.”
“Where are you?”
“I’m hiding in the closet Daddy. Can you hurry and come get me? Mommy needs a doctor.”
“Stay in the closet, do not move, you hear me Riley?”
“Yes daddy.”
“Call 9-1-1 and tell them what’s going.”
“Ok da…. no heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!”
“Riley?! Riley?! Riley?!!!!”
POW! POW! POW!
